Was traveling with elderly was accommodating. The beds were super comfy and wanted to take all the pillows Home. Lol. The complimentary breakfast was great good quality hot and cold choice heavier or lighter fare. Please tip the kitchen dine staff even though self serve its free and worth offering few dollars per person per day of stay probably cost you lots more to Go out get kindness goes a long way They were ok with you taking back to the room if you wanted.Always has ice water coffee available all hrs of the day and Eve. The indoor pool was nice open late till 10 was a Happy plus relax good closure for the day was nice to see they offered clean spa towels for use after swimming.

The floors in bathroom very slippery needed a bath carpet or a non slip mat Would have liked a few more towels had 3 adults they were accommodating to give more

Room was clean and comfortable. Loved the White Horse Tavern. Hotel in good location. Staff was nice.

Upon check-in, our safe did not work. We were changed to a different room, but that safe also did not work. A staff member took us to a total of 8 rooms, but half the safes needed new batteries, and the other half were locked. Flooring in hallways need to be cleaned. Pool was a bit murky. Alert! Tree bushes near road obscure visibility of oncoming traffic on the left, making it hazardous to make a left turn, but also (to a lesser degree) right turn because of traffic going so fast.

The front desk attendant was really great. I was with my 2 kids who recently saw "Home Alone 2" and thought that going to a hotel meant the "servants bring your candy." I bought some candy and asked the attendant if she could bring it up. She was on board with the shenanigans and it made the kids so happy. Of note, the beds are sturdy enough to handle 2 small boys jumping back and forth between them and up and down in them for them better part of an hour.

The pool was cold mostly because they people staying in the rooms overlooking the pool were going in and put smoking a lot. I also did not enjoy the smoke smell in a public place like that.

The staff was excellent! There was a little mixed up when my parents checked in but the front desk figured it out right away! They were lovely to work with! The location was perfect- we went rafting and it was right down the street and we were able to walk which was perfect!

The hotel could use a bit of a make over. Nothing major, just flooring and linens and such. The pool was a little murky so maybe try to get that cleared up- it didn’t stop the kids from swimming though:)

Lobby was so cute, property was clean and breakfast was very yummy!! my boyfriend and I stayed a night here and staff was very friendly. The beds are clean and comfortable and the bathroom was clean.

We did a bug mattress check and the mattress are very clean and no signs of bed bugs or any dirty things on/in the bed but I did notice one small bug about the size of a grain of rice and I’m not sure what it was but it was the only bug I saw. I don’t believe it was a bed bug though. Other than that everything was clean. The elevator is a dated (no biggie!) since I know this hotel overall is a little dated.

Staff very friendly and attentive, location great for local visits to historical sites. Breakfast was good and the woman and man working there are very hardworking and kind. The view out the door of building is beautiful. The food at the attached restaurant was very good but a little pricey, $15 for a regular burger. The servers were pleasant and very attentive both time we were there. The room was very clean, bed comfortable. Overall they are blessed to have a great staff that make the visit more pleasant.

Magnetic building and room cards failed multiple times, were there for 4 days and had to get cards reset or exchanged daily, sometimes 2-3 times a day. Our building was prob 50 yards or more from the Registration desk so a lot of walking back and forth. Everyone would apologize but that didn't change the situation. We were not the only ones in that building that experienced this issue. However most were there for only one or two nights. Also the freq loud on and off of AC during the night made it hard to sleep, after the 1st night we would just turn it off when ready to sleep for the night.

A sub zero power outage 2 days b4 Christmas forced us to find a warm place to stay that was close by & reasonably priced. The Clarion Inn Harper's Ferry fit the bill! Our power was out for over 24 hours in below 0 temps. Room was clean & warm. Pleasant staff. What touched me the most was that they allowed us to stay several hours past check out (until our power was restored & we could return home) and did not charge us for another night. Fantastic customer service. Would recommend to everyone!

We have zero complaints.

Large, clean and bright, well equipped room. There is a super restaurant attached to the hotel and it is in a supurb location for visiting Harpers Ferry. The breakfast was good. There was a good choice of hot and cold food.

The breakfast "service" could be improved. Although it was self-service, on arrival, there were no coffee cups and no one around to replace them. The coffee ran out and there was no waffle mix in the machine. As it seems that there is only one member of staff cooking and servicing the restaurant people were waiting up to 10 minutes for items to be refreshed.

Clean facilities, friendly staff. No frills place to rest your head while traveling. Breakfast was surprisingly good - make your own belgian waffles and hot options (eggs, meats), lots of different juices, cereals, yogurt, etc.

Way too much plastic and packaging in the breakfast area, and no recycling bins!!! Exterior is very unappealing - upon approach I wasn't quite sure it was in business.

Buffet breakfast was excellent. Ranks in top 3 of all hotels I stayed at. Eggs, bacon & sausage were home cooked. Hallways are very wide (its a conference style hotel). Vending machine prices were reasonable and not jacked up. Rocking chairs outside to relax in. Staff was very nice. There is a restaurant connected to hotel and you get 10% off if you are a hotel guest. Ice cream place on property also. Extremely close to Harper's Ferry National Park. Bed & Pillows are comfortable. Coffee always available; unless overnight staff forgets (LOL). There is a pool! On lower end of property, Tacos were being sold!

Filter from A/C hanging out. Bathroom exhaust fan did not work. These things should be noticed by the maids, reported and fixed ASAP. I think all staff should have some sort of Clarion apparel on so that they are recognized as an employee. Older hotel and some things could be freshened up but not enough to deter me staying again at this time. If I was staying for a week or more, then I would say the room was a little small. One night; perfect.
