My apartment was very quiet lovely Seaview, the apartment was clean and tidy. I may return soon, I think next time I will ask Gladys for a larger apartment.

The only thing I didn't like was the balcony it was small and I didn't like the shower curtain but the shower itself was excellent, Restaurant was a little bit too pricey.

I enjoyed the view from my apartment. The restaurant had good food and the service was friendly. The location to the hip strip was good for me ( I rented a car), but it could be difficult to get to grocery stores and downtown without a car. The kitchen facilities were in working condition and the space had a washing machine. It was quiet and my privacy was respected. Security was very friendly. Parking to apartment was close. Everyone I came into contact with was very friendly.

I was never told that I could access the beach. The gate to the beach was locked, when I was checking out after 15 days, I was told that the card was to key to the beach. This information should have been told at check-in. I understand the beach is public, but there is a lot of trash on it. FYI...restaurant is closed on Mondays. There was only one set of sheets and two towels in my apartment, it would be nice to have a few changes of sheets and extra towels to have available while a set is being washed and dried. I stayed for 15 days so extra sheets and maybe extra trash bags could be left in the storage cabinets.

The people and the vibes was just right!! Love it here. Very peaceful. This place is mainly for couples or for a place to just get away from everything. Perfect location, not to far from the city life.

No warm water. But I wasn't complaining cuz i like and perferr cold showers.

The staff at Seacastles made me feel right at home. Gladys was attentive, available and responsive from booking to checkout. She is highly communicative, and helped me solve several travel problems that arose during my time there. I was traveling alone ( and not entirely prepared) and Gladys answered questions I didn't even know I had. She seemed to have a personal investment in my safety and a genuine caring about my experience in Jamaica. The restaurant Queen G's is great too! The staff are amazing and you are always greeted with a smile and a damn good cup of coffee. They make you feel right at home and are more than willing to answer questions, teach you about life on The Island, or just chat (if they have the time). Shana (Sp?) and James offer helpful suggestions about what to eat, play great music and make the space an enjoyable and relaxing place to be. Everything I ate there was delicious, the chicken curry was some of the best I have ever had (and I eat a lot of curry). Kadisha (sp.) was highly professional ,prompt and personable. She offered her assistance whenever I needed it. She makes herself available and made several accomodations for me as a solo traveller. Overall, the people that make up the Seacastles community make it a place you want to be.

The room I had was lovely and cosy. It had everything I needed. The first day I couldn't get the Air con to work and had no hot water to shower, but Gladys sorted that out for me quickly and I was good to go. Debra was attending the same conference as me and she happily gave me a ride to and from the conference centre each day. I loved both Gladys and Debra they were so very lovely.

The grounds outside of my room look like they have been abandoned. Everything outside of my room is in desperate need of repair. I was looking forward to one day on the beach after the conference, but I couldn't stay there as it was too dirty. The complex is in desperate need of renovation.

I love the view of the ocean and the grounds.

Security on the private beach for solo female travellers as some male locals can come off too aggressive.

Such a spectacular setting. A gated community, the studio and one bedrooms are gorgeous and huge w a full kitchen. The pool is nice, steps from a private beach. They rent by the night or the month. Monthly is extremely reasonable. There is a restraunt on site, amazing food! Katie is the best. She makes sure you have everything you need. I will definitely look forward to making this my home.
