We appreciated the living and bedroom areas, with traditional Japanese style. The atmosphere was magic, drinking sake in the living room, making our own bed, and sleeping on the floor. The floor was tidy, lots of services and tools available, including an USB adapter. Very nice and kind owner, he allowed early check-in with no additional costs. The location is good to reach viewpoints of Mt Fuji

Unfortunately, the kitchen and bathroom were not clean enough, especially the fridge, sink and kitchen drawers. Probably, the fact that the house is old made it look worse. The location was fine for us, but it may not be the best to reach the 5 lakes area (there is a train that does not run frequently enough).

Great property, we absolutely loved our stay. There is a view of Mt. Fuji from the street. Walking distance to Mt Fuji Station which can connect you to Kawaguchiko station (where the five lakes route buses are). A 7/11 and pizza shop around the corner.

We can highly recommend this guest house. The patron is fantastic, the house is beautiful and it is only a few minutes' walk to the station and to Kanadorii. It really was a great stay.

Host was so lovely and gave us a tour of the house/facilities when we arrived. We loved the traditional living and sleeping on the futon mats! The place was very clean and spacious! It was walking distance to restaurants and 7/11. You can see my fuji from the main street it was amazing!

Wonderful experience in a traditional Japanese home. Beautiful view of Mt. Fuji just outside in the street on Route 139. We loved the kotatsu.

Since it is a traditional home (no central heating), the common areas and the water can get very cold at night in the winter. There were heaters in individual rooms, but we would recommend other guests to dress warmly.

The house was big and very clean with traditional Japanese interior. It was a great experience and the host was very helpful and friendly. Great location as well. Overall highly recommend!

Japanese styled house with modern equipment. It’s warm and comfortable. The host is very nice though unable to speak English. We talk by translation app. He accommodated all our needs.

It’s a bit far from train station and restaurants, 10min by walk. There is a bus stop nearby but the bus frequency is quite low. More suitable place for guests with car.

Very spacious and comfortable in traditional Japanese style accommodation. The whole family enjoyed it and was very close to the sites in Fujiyoshida with great view of Mount Fuji right outside the doorstep. I would highly recommend.
