Despite its old-fashioned charm, this hotel is a perfect choice for travelers seeking comfort and proximity to Mount Fuji. The rooms are surprisingly spacious, and the beds offer a comfortable night's sleep. The priceless view of Mount Fuji, right in front of the hotel, adds a unique and memorable touch to the stay.

We stayed in 5 different hotels during our stay in Japan. This was by far the largest. Clean, updated and a great view of Mt Fuji. The host (owner) was amazing. She held our luggage for us as we did an overnight on Mt Fuji and even gave us a ride to the bus station. A convenience store right next door and plenty of shops & restaurants close by. Also, walking distance to Fuji-Q Highland

Train/bus stations further than we thought

The staff was friendly and was able to speak English. The room was clean and had the view of Mt. Fuji.

It was far away from any bus station or train station. If you packed light, it may work, but it was a bit of a trek.

Cleaniness, i was pleasantly surprised by how they could maintain this level of cleaniness, the facilities are not the most modern one but it looks as if they keep the facilities like new. Very impressed. They have public onsen also, and we can see the mount fuji from our room. Just wow and wow for the price we have paid.

Breakfast was not included in any room plan. I would go for a room with breakfast included. But you could contact the hotel in separate email or via booking to order traditional Japanese breakfast (for a merely 1000yen per person). It was delicious (if you like healthy Asian food)

Great location, very near my car rental pickup location at Fujisan station, and also very near the highway to Kawaguchiko. Perfect for my needs. Professional staff who let me use the reception phone when I needed to make a local phone call. Public bath was lovely to use, though it's staggered timings for the sexes. Timings were okay for women. Glorious view of Mt Fuji if you have a Fuji-side room. Convenience store right on the premises, which is delightfully convenient. Dohtonbori, which specialises in okonomiyaki that you cook yourself, is right across the road and delicious.

Right next to a funeral home. Also it is kind of pricey for not having a breakfast.

The hotel is located within walking distance of the Fuji-Q amusement park. It is a twenty-minute walk from Mt. Fuji station, the same distance from the Fujikyu-Highland station. Both stations can be used to travel to Kawaguchiko or Tokyo. The main road towards Kawaguchiko is in front of the hotel, and there are several restaurants with various types of food along the route. A Family Mart convenience store is at the front of the hotel. The southwest side of the hotel, where we had a room, offers a great view of Mt. Fuji. The room was quite comfortable, not too spacious, but good enough for a two to three-day stay. It was really clean. There was no offer to have breakfast at the hotel.

Since we arrived two hours before official check-in time, we had to wait in the lobby for our room to be ready. There was no cafe nearby where we could spend that time. At the time of our visit, the hotel didn't look that crowded, not to have a room ready a bit earlier than it was.

Clean, close, quiet.

Very little English spoken by staff. A bit of a mix up with payment. They did not accept PayPal for booking, so I had to submit my credit card , which I don’t usually like to do. I had assumed that the payment had come out prior to my arrival, as all the other hotels had. I was a little embarrassed when it was indicated that I still had to pay, when I mistakenly assumed that had already been done. As much my fault as anyone, as I misread the instruction that they would take the payment direct. After checking my accounts, it was noted that I had not made a payment yet..I have so may outgoings with the trip, this nonpayment slipped by me.

The hotel room is comfortable and clean. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It was raining and cold the day I was leaving. One of the hotel staff gave me a lift to the Mt Fuji station in his own car. Sorry I didn't get his name, but thank you so much! There are two convenient stores at the door step and a few food places within walking distance.

The location of the hotel is between the two train stations, fair bit of walking. Come via public transportation can be challenging. It is good for people with a car, as hotel has a big car park.

a very nice and well organized hotel room, friendly staff and a wonderful little onsen. We woke up with a great view on Mt Fuji and walked a lot. Some places are in walking distance like the Westhighland Park. A good place to stay when you want to do the Mt Fuji climb, 7/11 is nearby and very well equipped. we liked the cosy small room and well equipped bathroom. Nothing for more heavy people though, I would say.

not a hotel mistake, but public transport close to the hotel would be nice.
