Would be nice if front desk staff were a bit more fluent in English.

It was really close to JR Hakodate station and within walking distance to some places of interest. There is a washing machine and dryer on site which was very convenient. There was also some sports facilities and it looked fun even though I didn’t use them. Guests could also use the lounge to relax and get some free hot drinks. Breakfast was very very good, a wide variety of food available and a nice view from the 10th floor. Staff were very polite and helpful. Room was dated but clean and comfortable.

They provided free water bottles each night in your room which is great for traveling in Japan. Breakfast was high quality and many options included. Check out was simple and quick. Location is second to none across the street from Hakodate Station and Kiralis (which has a fantastic conveyer belt sushi place in the basement) and it is in front of the tram station.

No true complaints, but the laundry machines don't include laundry detergent as far as I could tell.

We felt very welcomed the moment we walked in, the receptionists were both very kind and accommodating. We love our room very much. The room is nice and clean. Thoughtful amenities. The room has enough space of our luggage, very comfortable bed, fantastic view from our window and really nice shampoo and soap. Breakfast is spectacular. Great quality Hokkaido ingredients, delicious BBQ seafood, many choices of healthy and tasty smoothies and more. We were very impressed. The breakfast room managers, chefs and staff are all wonderful as well. In fact, every employee of Hotel Resol Hakodate has done the hotel proud. They are great representatives of the hotel. We would definitely choose this hotel when we visit Hakodate again the the future.

The location is excellent, just a few minutes walking from JR Hakodate station. And the tram stop is just a few steps. The room is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good. I like the BBQ scallop and the fresh milk.

The first night I heard the noise from the guest of the next room. Fortunately, they checked out next day.

Walking distance within minutes from the train station. Fish market is a block away. Tram stop in front of the hotel (this tram line literally connects all of the city's highlights). Friendly staff and everything we needed was there.

We traveled with a kid and had to pay extra for third pillow for him. Plumbing in the room was a bit noisy and bathroom a bit dated, but clean – no big deal.

Rooms with attractive view and amazing breakfast is special. It is located in the middle of the city so the transportation is very easy.. Recommend with confidence..

I enjoyed the breakfast. It was Japanese style and had some health oriented options like smoothies.

The building is old and it shows. Everything was functional though. Expect some noise to come through the room door and the streets. The receptionist initially missed that I had paid for the breakfast. It was quickly rectified after I realized and I got my tickets.
