Good value for money, and good location about halfway between the Hirosaki park (castle) and the railway station. You can walk for 10-15 minutes to either.
If you only go to either the railway station or the castle, the walking is a bit far.

bathrooms are very small in Japan… the way they positioned their bathroom layout was something I have never seen before and was quite comfortable actually using it as a very large individual.

It's even closer tot he bus terminal than the train station. On the way a big supermarket, very convenient.
Old furniture and stains on the wall. Breakfast is included but too late, starting at 7.00 AM, so I paid for it but i didn't use it.

Staff were quite aloof, it was heavily snowing when we were there and I asked reception if they could help us get a large taxi to the station on our last day - they told me no . I asked again the next day using google translate and again they repeated no. This meant a very difficult walk back to the station pulling heavy luggage through streets of snow . I actually slipped and felt very embarrassed . Any assistance from the hotel for a family of 4 tourists obviously wanting help to get to the station would have been good

Small and old-fashioned room. Free but poor morning (have curry but no yogurt nor fresh vegetables, local-foods). Bit far from the Hirosaki-Station and very puzzling entrance position. But the price is as the level as…other more urbanized city hotel or clearener/newer hotel
