I LOVED the gigantic beds at this property!! They actually but a connector between two double beds and made it a single bed. It was awesome! These rooms had a little more space to move around and I admired their facilities for having ample washer/dryer machines, a roomy cafe, and an onsen. We stayed at four different hotels on our visit to Japan and this was one of my favorites. I loved how it was in the city and there were stores and restaurants within walking distance. The city wasn't overcrowded or noisy, either. I would definitely stay here again!

I can't really think of any improvements on this one. This was a good one.

Staff was helpful and very welcoming, especially at check in and breakfast time. The hotel is located close to the street car lines for easy transit to the Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Park. The room was very clean, but small. Easy access from Hiroshima Airport or public transportation, even for first time travelers to Japan.

Small room and bathroom. Shower was very small and might not be easy to use for first time travelers to Japan. The HVAC fan is directly over the bed, and the noise from the fan can be annoying when trying to go to sleep. However, the HVAC unit maintains a comfortable room temperature, despite the noise. It would be nice if the room had USB-C ports for charging.

Clean and quiet room, new interiors. Nice and polite cleaning team, even though we didn’t ask for cleaning service they left fresh towels and pijamas every day at the room door. Close to restaurants, shops, street cars, buses and peace memorial.

Window facing blank wall. Reception staff didn’t want to talk to us even though there was nobody else checking in. No instructions about breakfast, happy hour, room service. Breakfast was simple and good but felt that foreigners were treated differently than Japanese guests, every morning there was a special dish tucked in the corner with only Japanese sign. When I made the booking I had the impression that the common areas like the dining room was available all the time and Japanese books easily accessible. It turns out that the breakfast room is only open in the morning, comics are located in the laundry, microwave in a corridor right next to the lift. It didn’t have a nice feeling.

A simple, modern and affordable hotel in the very center of the city. Like many Japanese hotels, this one has very small rooms, but they are very well thought out. You don't feel any inconvenience. The staff is also very nice and the breakfasts are good. And the main advantage of the hotel is its location: you can walk to all the iconic places of Hiroshima in 15 minutes, and to those that are further you can take the tram, the stop of which is right in front of the hotel. An ideal place to explore the city, but not for those who like to spend a lot of time in the hotel.

For a hotel of the declared three-star level, there are no shortcomings.

Great hotel! In front of the tram stop, so it's convenient coming from the Shinkansen. Facilities are good. The sento was small, but it was clean and just good enough. Had breakfast every morning, and it was decent. They also have free drinks around night time but never got to try them since we were always out. Around 15 mins walk to the memorial park and museum, bomb dome, and others. We probably didn't use the public transpo that much since we walked a lot, but it's a good area to be in!

Rooms are standard Japanese, so they're quite small. But for the price, it's okay.

The room was a good design and slightly larger than most Japanese hotels, though still modest in size. The breakfast was excellent, lots of fresh high quality yummy food to start your day. I also liked the room temperature and that you could open the window to get fresh air as well. That is pretty rare in a hotel. Location was very central. I was staying longer and so ventured to further locations and the hotel remained convenient to all of them.

Not much to dislike! You can still hear other guests when they are noisy, for example, yelling to one another down the hallways. I personally liked the aircon but I think people that need their room 20 degrees would struggle to get it cold enough. It was perfect for me.

The location was great for seeing the Peace Memorial and accessing the bus and trolley. The staff was very friendly and helpful and it was nice that we were able to drop off our luggage prior to our room checkin. The room was very clean and the yukatas VERY soft and comfortable. The hours for breakfast were enough that we never felt rushed and there was a lot of variety of choices of foods. We appreciated the access to laundry facilities. The onsen looked good but we ran out of time to get to use it. The room was quiet as long as we didn't open the window.

My husband and I had one room and it was very tight to maneuver around. The "closet" inconvenient to access once we set our suitcases down. The step up and down into the bathroom cubicle was awkward at best. Our daughter had her own room and plenty of space to place her suitcase. She is 30 years younger that us and the bathroom step up/down was not an issue for her.

Really good location in Hiroshima. Peace park is just a few minutes walk away and the tram stop outside has 3 routes stopping there including Hiroshima station and routes to JR stations in the west for easy access towards the JR ferry for Miyajima. Lots of places for food in the Hondori area only a short-medium walk away or a few stops on the trams. Staff were excellent, we were able to check in and drop bags before our actual check in time then returned to collect the room keys after 3pm. They had a happy hour each evening providing a free drink (including spirits and other alcohol) for each guest which was appreciated.

No issues to speak of, at the price paid there was nothing wrong with any part of the stay.

The Staff were amazing, very friendly service and helpful from the moment we entered. The Breakfast buffet was fantastic! Slightly different dishes each day and the variety was incredible. We are Vegan and usually cannot enjoy hotel breakfasts but there were plenty of salad, vegetable, rice and fruit options that we really enjoyed. A free drink each night at Happy Hour too was a nice tough! Our room was larger than ones in Tokyo and the hotel location is perfect. There is a streetcar (tram) right outside the hotel and a short walk to the Peace Park, shopping streets and many restaurants.

Rooms where nice size for Japan and the beds where also just right. It’s a good place to sleep and relax . Overall the hotel gets a 8 since it’s really not that bad for the price, but it could be better.

After just one night, we both woke up with a sore throat, it was most likely from the airconditioning since it is blowing right in your face when you sleep. The bathroom also had a very high step up, so it’s easy to trip. Lastly, you can take the tram (they call it street bus) to the hotel, but the nearest JR station is not possible by walking. So accessibility isn’t that great.
