The location is prefect! It is at a junction of both tram and bus stop, literally less than 2mins walk, very easy to access while taking public transportation The commercial roads are right behind the hotel by 5 mins walking distance The size of the room is fantastic, which I booked a spacious twins room, n I even have space to lay down for yoga exercise I particularly like the set up of both bathroom and toilet are in separated rooms. My family and I have stayed in the hotel for 3 nights by engaging two different room types. The hotel has exceeded my expectations in many ways! Thank you

The onsen is very small and it gets very busy between 9-10pm The onsen water isn't in the best conditions as many people use it. I skipped it after a couple try.

The location is great, it's very easy to get there from Aso Airport or Kumamoto Station, we could see Kumamoto Castle from the room. The traditional breakfast buffet was delicious and the receptionists were so kind, patient and helpful when we asked about shipping our luggage to a different city so we didn’t have to carry it with us while riding the busy trains.

If anything, I would say the pj's provides by the hotel seemed to be of a synthetic material that wasn’t super comfortable but that’s definitely a very minor detail but that’s the only negative thing I can think of.

The breakfast did not come with my package and cost ¥1100, but it was a well-prepared buffet-style meal with a lot of variety. Also, the location of the hotel was within walking distance of Kumamoto Castle and there is a 7-11 on the 1st floor.

This isn't a complaint but more so a heads-up. This is the city, so it is almost impossible to find free parking. The hotel does not have its own parking garage, but there is a 24-hour parking garage across the street from the hotel. The price wasn't too bad compared to the parking lots around it. DO NOT park at the Times parking behind the garage because you would pay twice as much than if you just parked inside the garage.

The location is within walkable distance from Kumamoto Castle and main shopping streets. There is a convenient store on the ground floor. The room is well-partitioned. The bathroom is separated from the toilet. The bathtub is very large and air conditioner can work in winter -- being different from most hotels in Japan. All necessary amenties are provided. The breakfast is superb with various Japanese-style chioces. Staffs are English-speaking, friendly, and supportive.

The location is quite far from the main railway station. More desserts on breakfast line should be great addition.

Due to the typhoon, we stayed at the hotel for a long time - it was very comfortable and safe. There is a convenience store at the entrance of the hotel so we do not need to worry about food during typhoon time. The staff （黄さん) was very helpful to help us to contact the hotel we originally booked at Aso Mountain for cancellation. Advance booking is highly recommended - we added a night due to the typhoon and the price was 1/3 higher than our booking a month ago.

The public bath is a bit small and crowded at night.

Great location, just a short walk from Kumamoto Castle as well as the tram line that takes you directly to Kumamoto station. Lots of shopping and restaurants also very close by. Room was a bit small even by Japanese standards, but still very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. 7-11 connected directly to main entrance and protected from the weather - easy access for a snack or drink!

Rooms a bit too small. Decor was a bit dated.

1. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. They have very good attitude to assist us in all questions not only about the travelling, but also the medical. 2. Nice and delicious breakfast. 3. Rooms are comfortable, with all standard facilities provision. The room is warm enough. Although the size is a bit small (not sure what size is standard in Japan), but it fits for 2 persons for a few days without trouble. 4. Good shower. 5. Location is good, only a few minutes walk from tram stop. It's in walking distance to the walking street.

1. Despite the short distance from tram stop, it takes 20-25 minutes from this tram stop to the JR station. I had to go to JR station everyday so I consider it's a bit far.... but it's close to most of tourist attraction in Kumamoto so I have no reason to deduct score. 2. It'd be good if the breakfast menu can be rotated daily.

The location of the hotel is great as it's a few meters from Kumamoto castle and near several restaurants that you can have your lunch and dinner. The breakfast buffet was also great as the hotel provided an assortment of foods which was suitable for adults and children too. The bed was surprisingly big enough to fit my family of 3 well (2 adults and a baby) and it was so comfortable. The bedding was fresh and the staff gave us fresh towels the next day. The public bath was also a good bonus as we got to enjoy a spa on the 12th Floor and it wasn't crowded. The guidelines of the public bath are written both in japanese and english so it was very helpful to understand. They have English speaking staff so it isn't a hustle when trying to make a request for anything. I would definitely come back there.

The breakfast was very good and the reception was on the third floor. It was on the second floor, so you don't have to walk past the reception when you want to go to your room. The staff was very friendly and tried to speak to me in Japanese. I really appreciated that. It gave me a chance to practise my Japanese.

It was not clean under the toilet seat

Breakfast is simple but sufficient. Walking distance to Tsuruya Mall. Twin bedroom is comfortable.

There is no onsite carpark n the area to unload luggages is a very small inconspicuous area that we manage to find by chance. It’s located along a busy street so it’s impossible to stop in front of the hotel. Nearest public car parking is directly opposite.
