Location of the hotel was fantastic. It’s tucked away in a quiet residential area however only a minute away from the nearest station. Walkable distance to sanjo if you don’t want to take public transport. Great Chinese restaurant next door and a good supermarket for food options too.

Aircon was leaking a bit from time to time so I just put the bin underneath to stop the water from going into the carpet. Staff forgot to change my bin one day even though I left it outside for them to take. The room doesn’t get cleaned everyday, only once every seven days so if you are a messy person probably not the best option.

This place was lovely!!! For the price, you get a really great sized room! A view of Kyoto (if you’re on the front side of the building.. unsure of back side) and really friendly staff! There is a washing machine and dryer available for 300 yen. The room was clean and air conditioned. It’s well located by a subway station, and not too far to walk from busy areas! Would highly recommend!

Not the worst problem but we arrived at 12:30pm and sadly didn’t realise that the place is unattended between 12-3pm so we had to roll our suitcases over to the other hotel LEGASTA nearby.. not too far but just something to bear in mind!

Super convenient and quiet hotel. We got a nice room on the upper floor with an amazing view. The size of the room was amazing! We loved the shower room (even though we couldn’t manage to fill in the bathtub). Washing machines are available.

We needed to arrange for yamato transport for our luggage but it was a bit tricky as staff didn't speak any English (and we don't speak Japanese) so it took some time for us to understand that we needed to take our luggage to the main hotel (this is an annex) situated a few minutes away. This ended up being a happy inconvenience as at the main hotel there was a young woman who not only helped us to arrange the yamato transport but also recommended us 2 amazing spots for dinner and drinks which really made our night.

The room was very nice with everything you need for your stay! It was spacious even for three adults. The bathroom was very nice and the possibility to dry your clothes after washing them in the hotels laundry room was amazing! It was quite clean with a few dustbunnies here and there but overall very good! Definitely great value for the money! The location is just perfect! Walking distans to Yasaka Shrine, pontocho street and everything around there! Very pleased with the visit, highly recommend!

The beds were a bit hard but the pillow and duvet were amazing!

The hotel is stylish and comfortable. Location is very convenient for the places to eat and explore. We hardly used the transport as most of the things you can walk to. The washing machine facilities are on the ground floor - cheap and convenient. The rooms are comfortable size and the view is lovely. You have everything you need to be comfortable there. Downstairs are comfy sofas and tables and we used them lots, as the atmosphere is very welcoming. Really comfortable bathroom.

My daughter met her friend for few hours and they wanted to hang out in the hotel room upstairs, however the friend was asked to pay the tax in order to go upstairs into the room...

Nice hotel and good location in Kyoto. Couple of stations in walking distance. Supermarkets, shops and food places are available around. Everything is available in the room for 2-3 days stay. The room is a bit small and dark, I’d say this room suit for 2 persons not 3 as we travelled. Also it was quite cold in the room the time we stayed, because of the weather I guess. We had to sleep dressed, and when you turn on the AC the air gets so dry so we had to turn it off. Coin laundry was available downstairs. In general good value for money.

The location was a short distance away from a family mart, a few small restaurants and a train station! The room itself was a bit older but very clean and bigger than most rooms I've booked in Japan so far! The bathroom was by far my favorite, I love the big shower room! It also is a lot more modern out front than I expected!

We had a room for 3, so they had 3 twin beds set up! The 2 were actual beds, and one was a sofa bed, which was really uncomfortable. But other than that it was a lovely stay!

Great location, I was there for 5 days and extended for another … it’s located in a quiet area but close to the station and those narrow streets are lovely to walk so I didn’t use the train or metro as much to enjoy the scenery … big room in comparison to other place I stayed in Japan … clean … they don’t do daily clean it unless you request it as they try to conserve energy and water which I respect … easy checkin and checkout

The room was very clean and modern and exceeded my expectations. Having the toilet in a separate room from the shower/vanity is an added luxury you don't always see in such affordable hotels in Japan. Even with a full-size couch, the room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is right next to a subway station, but we opted to walk most of the time since the area is so lovely.

The hotel’s location is a good walk from the main entertainment district, but if you’re up for it you’ll catch serene views of local Kyoto life you won’t find other places. The air in the hallways and elevator was a bit stuffy, but the air conditioner in the room worked very well.

Great location: close to bus station, subway station, and train station. 500 meters to Gion, Pontocho, Kiyomizu-dera There is a lot of food stores and restaurants in nested alleys where the hotel located. The channel (small river) few steps away the hotel is peaceful and super chillax Staff is good English speaking

The light of the room is too dark. Should have light in the closet. This is the only point preventing this hotel from receiving the rate at 10 from my review
