Location of this hotel is very convenient as is about 10 mins away from Nijo Station, is also really closed to a market street where you can find supermarkets, restaurants and convenience stores. The hotel has a public kitchen that you can use to reheat or cook your food. The rooms are very spacious with also a small kitchenette, small dining table so you have plenty of space. Another thing we like is that the hotel has free washing machine to use and they provide detergent as well, however they don’t have a dryer but you can dry the clothes in your room using drying system installed in the bathroom (we used and the clothes was dry overnight).

The location was fantastic, just an 8 minute walk from Nijo station, relatively close to the 206 and 207 buses, which loop the city. And yet, still tucked away on a small street for quietness, too Staff were incredibly friendly, were accommodating with English, and the supermarket and a shopping street next to the hotel is a plus! A hotel I will be making note of for the next time I decide to visit the area!

The walls were thin and so people were to keep quiet at night. Not an issue but something to be mindful of. The staff need to open the door leading from the reception/kitchen area to the room hallway to use the communal restroom if you haven't checked in yet - an inconvenience but NOT a major issue!

The hotel is right next to the historic Kyoto Sanjo shopping street and made for an easy walk to get lots of delicious snacks and treats! There are local bakers, restaurants, grocery stores, laundry facilities and even convenience stores. A great location in a quiet neighborhood within close walking distance to Nijo station and easy access to bus stops.

The room was exceptionally small. The pictures definitely made the space seem bigger and a small family doesn't have enough room to be comfortable. The kitchen is NOT in the room and instead is a shared space in the lobby. The AC units also have not been cleaned and can aggravate those who are easily affected by air quality.

A really cute little hotel, perfectly located near the Nijo castlea and right next to a shopping passage. Plenty of shops and bus stops nearby, great communication with the whole city. The staff was nice and helpful. The room was tiny but had super comfy beds and a very nice, new bathroom. We booked a room theoretically with no kitchen but there still was a little kitchen set with a sink, a fridge and a kettle. There was no place to plug in the kettle in the kitchenette though, but it's not a big issue. A washing machine is a big advantage and you can even get the detergent from the staff.

We stayed at Miro Hotel in last Novembre 2024. We had a little twin room with a fantastic air conditioning and a powerful shower. Wi-fi worked perfectly. The room has a little kitchenette and in the common area there are a microwave and table where Cook something. The hotel is about 500m from Nijo station and a little bit further from Omiya station which arrives a training fron Osaka. Nearby there are a lot of traditional restaurant and convinient stores. I definitely recommend it.

They don't clean the room everyday but change towels whenever you want.

Free laundry service, kitchen with everything you need to cook. Good bed, private bathroom well equipped, windows can be opened and you can have fresh air in your room.

If you have big suitcase you cannot open it in the room. In the room is little space to move around the bed. The bed sheets are changed once a week. Only three clothes hangers on a clothes hanger , no shelf, no wardrobe for clothes. I kept my cloths on the bed and in the suitcase for two weeks.

Standard check in was 4pm I believe, we arrived earlier but we were allowed to leave our stuff in their storage space, and explored the city in the meantime. The room was pretty straight forward, bed for two, small refrigerator, clean bathroom. We didnt need much since we were out and about most of the time. The walls were a bit thin and we could hear the neighbors sometimes but it wasn't much of an issue during sleeping time. They also offered washing machines but we didnt need them at the time. Location is pretty good too, 30 min walk to the city center, plus there were a lot of convenience stores/ a supermarket around which made it easy for us to get food on the go. They also allowed us to leave our luggage and pick it up later, on the day of our check out.

The room could have been a bit more spacious, it was a bit tricky to fit two big suitcases in the very small way from the door to the bed so when we were packing up we had to get in each others way. But its also not a big deal since we were there only three days. No major complaints.

it was a good stay close to a lot of stores and a market area with great food and a shops. easy access to train station and different buses to go wherever you need.

Not exactly sure how the hotel got so many stars. It ain't the hotel itself that makes the place good, even if it's more than perfectly acceptable. Only problem I really had is how bookings isn't trustworthy with the pricing of places. Got offered one amount that then wasn't the same I was charged. No help is given even though I am 3rd level genius member...

It was convenient to get to, had all the essentials. I was here for a one night stay. I would say that considering the price I paid for one night it was a good value for money. The main thing I liked is that their process was very clear and stay when I am able to check in and the latest I could do that and when I can check out ect.

I was a little sad that they didnt respond in a timely manner to my question I sent on booking.com because I can't call them as I am not Japanese (travelers can only use wifi and do not have a phone number...)

I loved everything about the hotel! For starter, the staff was very friendly. She greeted me as soon as I got to the front desk and explained everything to me. What I like most about the hotel is the location. It is located in a super quiet residential area next to a shopping street where you can find different kinds of restaurants for food. There're also supermarkets around where you can get fresh vegetables and fruits if you are someone like me who needs them everyday! The transportation around is convenient as well for there are subway stations and bus stops nearby to go everywhere you want. I will definitely stay here next time I visit!

The only downside I can think of is the size of the room. It is a bit small but for solo travelers like me, the size is OK. Again this little flaw is just nothing comparing to everything it offers.
