Excellent location . Polite staff though most Jap staff not very good in English .

No onsen Could have change the purple signboard /neon lights at top of building to Daiwa hotel instead of Daiwa group. As it’s a hotel and not company . Why not make it easier for tourists, hotel guest ?

Very close to the Nagoya Stations(JR and subway). The staff were amazing, efficient and friendly. As a business hotel the room included all the amentities needed.

The bed was hard, you could feel the springs.. we requested an extra blanket and used it to pad the mattress. The pillows initially provided were very thin and had to be folded in half to be useable(we did get more the next day) The floor where the ice machine/washers were is also the smoking floor and the moment the elevator doors open it’s the only thing you can smell-non smokers be wary..

1. Fast check in & check out. 2. Less than 10 mins walk from Nagoya Station. 3. Room was big enough for 2 people. 4. Laundry and microwave available.

1. Not all staff speak English. There were some lost in translation moments. 2. The pillow was very uncomfortable. 3. There was no reading light which meant the main lights had to be on if one of us wanted to have a quiet reading moment while the other wanted to snooze / sleep. The hotel might want to consider installing reading lights over the head boards.

the hotel was located close to the train station and BIC camera, which made for convenient shopping. The libby was airy and spacious. The room was of decent size and clean. Check in was a breeze, as the staff was very friendly and explained everything clearly. Check out was done at the terminal. Again, hassle free. We could leave our luggage with the hotel after checking out , and collected them after a spot of sightseeing. As gain, the front desk staff was very helpful in explaining to us what trains we should take to get to Nagoya castle

Breakfast was rather chaotic with limited choices . It looked like a one man show, with the same person collecting our vouchers and replenishing the food.

Location was good although a bit of walking from the station. The road was a bit uneven for pulling the luggage. The room size was ok and we managed to open both luggage without cramping up the space. We purchased one day breakfast as the second day we have to leave very early to catch our flight home. Breakfast was not too bad although choices were limited.

There was no safe in the room and I have to carry the passport along with us. A bit inconvenient but no big deal.

- Massage chair in the room!! This is a killer. Never-seen-before experience in my decades of travelling history. Every day me and my wife took turns to use it after our baby went to bed at night, and before she woke up in the morning. It was so effective in relaxing all the sore muscles from shopping and baby-carrying. Now we want a massage chair in our own home. - The hotel was new and lobby was clean and bright as the photo shows. - The room we booked was Superior Double Room, where the photos show floor-to-ceiling windows. However, the room we got only had a normal window. Apparently within the same room type, you get a mixture of rooms with both window options. So tune your expectation a bit. - Besides the slight disappointment with the window, the room met every aspect of my expectation: 1. It was clean and spacious. 2. The big rectangular shape means we got to fully utilize the size of the room. 3. The toilet cum shower/tub was new and clean, and didn't feel cramped at all. Although it would have been even better to have separate toilet and shower/tub rooms, I'm happy with the setup. 4. The double bed was more like a king bed, providing comfortable space for us to sleep in the same bed with our baby. - Convenient location. If you stand outside the hotel entrace, you can see the bullet train arriving at and leaving the platform at the end of the main road. - Decent breakfast featuring both western and Japanese options. - Friendly and helpful staff. On the first day, I arrived at the hotel in the evening and the on-premise parking was full. The hotel staff patiently explained the situation, helped me unload my luggage, and showed me the alternative parking spaces nearby.

- On-premise parking space was sparse. I didn't manage to park at the hotel for the 2 nights when I returned to the hotel after dinner (8pm - 9pm). So I had to park at the public carpark which cost a lot more. - Despite the big room we had, it was not possible to add an extra bed/crib for our baby to sleep alone. However, this didn't obsure the overall great experience we had with our stay.

Close proximity to the shinkansen train station (about 5 mins walk) and to major shopping departments like Takashimaya. Eateries nearby. Good variety of western and Japanese foods for breakfasts. Kids amenities bag made my little boy feel special and welcomed.

Bed and room is big enough for our family of 3 (with a young kid sharing the bed).

Massage chair in the hotel room was a plus ! We used it every day after our tiring walk which help us to relief our fatigue. The room we booked was spacious and clean . Breakfast was decent but after 9.20am nothing much were left to eat although breakfast is until 10am. So have to be early to enjoy the breakfast before 9am.

Breakfast after 9.20am nothing much were left and no replenishment

Location was really close to the Nagoya station. It was really easy to get to the hotel back and forth. The room was clean and nice. Given the value, it was quite good I would say. The lobby was pretty big. It's near 2 konbinis so it's easy to get what you need.

The room was cramped and the amenities were not that vary.

Great location, near the train station. Good thing we had a native English speaker at check-in (James from the UK). A bit small to perhaps be able to fit in four people in the room, but glad it was available as an option for us though.

Breakfast was a little basic, but good none-the-less. Could do with newer interiors, but overall was fine. Perhaps more of a business trip hotel rather than a family vacay stay.
