Sanco Inn Nagoya Shinkansen-guchi Annex

Stayed for 4 nights. Perfect location if you plan to use Nagoya railway station often in your trip. Just opposite of Nagoya station. There is an underground access from. Nagoya station which goes near the front of the hotel. It makes it convenient to reach station even when it is raining. Room is very clean. All facilities were good. We can take pillow and many amenities near the reception. The staff speak English. I came early on the first day and was able to keep my luggage at the reception till checkin. Wifi internet speed was good.

The AC was sometimes acting weird. It's very hard to get the right temperature. It gets either too cold or too hot.

It just just across the JR station. Close to the shopping mall tower. The rooms are clean. Staff is helpful can speak some English.

The breakfast was just a voucher to the next-door commercial place with limited offer. Staying without breakfast and just go out on your own is better choice in my humble opinion.

Right across the back exit of Nagoya Station, and beside so many good restaurants and shopping areas. They have a "pillow buffet" where you can select additional pillows for your room. Staff was friendly and helpful and used a digital translator when necessary.

If you are coming from Nagoya airport via Meitetsu train, the route to the hotel isn't the most direct because Meitetsu station is not exactly smoothly connected to Nagoya station (like maybe they used to be separate and the walkways in between were added as an afterthought--it's always confusing getting out of the Meitetsu station), so this may extend your walking route to around 500m or more, depending on how lost you get. But once you get the hang of things and where things are, it gets easier to navigate.

The smell of the carpet in room is not fresh.

There is an amenity bar that includes drip coffee bags and one's choice of pillow. The hotel is directly behind Nagoya station and easily reached through the underground shopping area. The room was small, as expected, but well organized and comfortable.

It would have been perfect if other guests had not been so loud in the hallways. Also, I always appreciate having a desk to work at, and this one only had a low stool and countertop.

Location is 10/10. Just walk across from Nagoya station exit near the Shinkansen tracks, and the Hotel is to the left of a big store called BIC Camera. I loved how you could chose a pillow matching your preference from the pillow bar. I sent an item by delivery service or takkyubin, from the hotel, and staff at reception helped by filling in the paperwork on my behalf.

The location is amazing next to the train station. The staff was absolutely amazing. The hotel is very green in a way it is run, giving the options to only take what you need. The room had everything incl. a small kettle and the room was spotless clean. Also very comfortable.

Like most in Japan, the room is very small but accurately shown in the pictures.

Location was the primary reason why i choose the hotel. Near nagoya JR line station, meitetsu bus and train and other subway line. Too many food outlets, stores to shop around. There is a 7-11 nearby. Yoshinoya resto is just beside the main door of hotel. Free coffee and toiletress.

Room size a bit crampy for couple but with the price consideration, passable and worth it.

Well located directly across from Nagoya Station. Close to all forms of Nagoya Public Transport and handy for places to eat. Nagoya is also a city worth visiting with great parks, gardens and other attractions. On this visit to Japan I visited many gardens and parks to see take in the wonderful flowers and plants on display not just the Sakura but all others. A good walkable city too. Nagoya is another of those cities well worth a visit.

Very convenient - located across the street from the Shinkansen exit for Nagoya Station. Convenience store and restaurants very near by. Bathtub in the room is very nice. I like that the room includes an air purifier.

If you're really sensitive to noise, this is located in a busy area. There's a little bit of traffic noise - it was not enough to bother me, but I know other people it might be enough to bother them. Room is small, so don't bring a lot of luggage
