Great hotel next to the train and bus stations. Wonderful Japanese/Western buffet breakfast served very efficiently. Appreciated the coin laundry and bathes. Rooms were compact, clean, and had all the usual amenities of a Japanese hotel. Plenty of restaurants and conveniences stores close by if you are hungry.

Only one elevator for 8 floors, but at least it was fast.

The hotel was strategically located near AMU and it was very convenient. The room was also good, the staff friendly, and the breakfast good. It's just too bad I wasn't able to try the 2nd floor spa.

I'm so sorry but I think the bed was a bit stiff. I had a hard time sleeping the first night and only slept 2 hours. I hope they can make it a bit softer for a more comfortable rest.

Good location

The hotel itself would have been a good stay had it followed what I booked. The breakfast was nice, the location was good near the station, the room as one would expect from a business hotel.

So, I had picked this hotel as it came up on the search as part of the National Travel Campaign. I booked it for this reason, yet whether something went wrong in the payment/booking/communication with the hotel, I arrived with the staff telling me Booking.com bookings are not eligible for the travel campaign discount and voucher. If they say Booking.com is not eligible, then why are they advertising themselves on Booking.com for this campaign? I had already completed Booking.com National Travel Campaign bookings elsewhere, so I knew this whole Booking.com excuse was nonsense. I tried to talk this through with two staff members who were just saying things to try and get rid of me - no apologies, no sense of trying to understand what happened, no efforts to resolve it; for Japan, this is very poor service, and was left pretty annoyed for the rest of the stay trying to work out why I didn't get the discount and travel vouchers with staff who didn't want to know. I spent some of the evening trying to resolve with Booking.com as the staff were useless. The room itself was fine, a few hairs on the bathroom floor but nothing serious. I had trouble opening the room door at first. It turns out the door handles are just for show so I spent time trying to open the thing with the door handle and key, but staff showed me one needs to turn the key and hold it while shoulder barging the door in. Who has immovable door handles attached to the lock just for show? Other than this, it was fine.
