The hotel was very clean. There were two elavator, so you almost never have to wait for long. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. In the lobby, two microwaves and a hot water machine. Our room had a TV through which we could watch Netflix (through your own account). It was small but sufficient. The room was equipped with blackout curtains, a water boiler, and a fridge. The bathroom was (as per usual in Japanese hotels) rather small. That in and of itself wasn't a big problem, but our shower head broke halfway through our stay, so we could only use the bath. There were some cracks that made me feel suspicious. The bathroom didn't dry well at all, towels hung up to dry remained wet. As did the walls and any other surface. Always kind of damp. At the end of our stay my companion mentioned that they thought there's mould in the bathroom (which considering it stayed wet and foggy HOURS after showering, isn't a surprise). We were unprepared for how small a Japanese "double bed" is. It's 140cm wide at most.

Receptionist spoke good English and was very pleasant. The room is nicely equipped. They have a nice choice of toiletries in the lobby, much bigger than in some other hotels where we stayed and payed more. They had free coffee. The location is very good - near the castle and the gardens and about 20 min walk to the main station (there is also a tram and a bus that go to the station). Despite it is an older hotel it had a smart TV with Netflix.

It is an older hotel, and the room is small, don't expect luxury, but for the price it is very acceptable.

Clean, Confortable, spacious enough for thw price. We had a Smart TV with the possibilities to use any common streaming service and youtube. WIFI worked great and the Laundromats had explanations in english too. Hotel was also only 5 mins away from Okayama Castle and 10 mins from Korakuen Garden. And in 10 Mins you could find great places to eat as well. The Electric Tram station going to and from the Main train station was right outside the door. Comfy all around.

Really had nothing to complain. Very solid business hotel.

Huge room for a good price, lots of free amenities available including free tea and coffee. Staff very friendly and the room was clean. Huge area for luggage storage after checkout too which was nice, only 15 mins from Okayama station by tram

The bathroom was abit too small , not much room to move but I understand this is common with Japanese rooms and houses. Perhaps the room could’ve been abit smaller and the bathroom bigger . Was manageable however !

My room had a great view of the city at night. And it's super close to the castle and garden. Lots of good coffee, beer and restaurants in the area too. Very close to a covered shopping street to. Easy to get to by taking the tram from the station

Bathroom was a bit old and dated. A bit run down in some places but everything worked, so it's fine

The hotel is nothing special, it is not expensive, simple and has everything one needs for a simple stay. The room was quite small for two people as stated on booking, so we were prepared. Everything was clean and in good shape, check-in was easy, staff friendly and the location convenient for us (close to the castle, the garden and the river).

The lobby of the hotel is very uninviting. That is sad because it is the only place we could hang except our small room.

Hotel was super close to the castle and the garden. Lots of great food options around. There's also a sandwich shop that sets up in the lobby with lots of tasty options. Free coffee in the lobby!

When we shipped our bags we had to pay for the shipping upon our arrival at our destination hotel which is a little different then how it has been in our experience so far, but we were still able to ship our bag in advance so no major inconvenience overall

Convenient location next to a tram station, 20min walk from the main okayama station, and also close to Okayama castle and gardens. Easy check in and check out with nice staff, and a good sized room with amenities and good aircon. Very pleased with the stay and would recommend!

I thought the pillows were quite uncomfortable, and felt like they were stuffed with beads - but down to personal preference!

This hotel is equipped with private shower and toilet. Comfortable beds and basic facilities. Located near Okayama Castle and to reach Okayama Station is either by walking or by tram. What I like the most is the price. Very very reasonable and totally worth the price.

It is easier to hear the sound from other room or someone talking in the corridor.

Great location and very welcoming staff! They went out of their way to make sure that the wire cables of my phone, which I accidentally returned together with the adaptor I borrowed from the receptionist upon check in, will be mailed to me in Osaka. I appreciate the kindness of the lady I spoke on the phone to arrange the sending of my stuff. Kudos to your Team! I will definitely recommend to my colleagues whenever we have an official trip in Okayama.
