A comfortable hotel in a great location, with an interesting display of Japanese art in a small museum, as well as displayed in the lift foyer on each floor. The location was excellent, within easy walking distance of Okayama station and with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops in very close proximity. Also, the hotel was immediately next to a creek and a small park, which had a lovely illumination display in the evenings. Staff were very pleasant and the room and beds were comfortable. The hotel restaurant has a particular focus on fresh, locally-produced food.

Both the room itself and the bathroom were a little small; however, this is not unusual for Japan.

I could hear the birds chirping sound from the traffic light downstair even living above 10 floors. Good thing is, the noise would stop at midnight but then continues pretty early in the morning. The windows need to be more soundproofed. *Suggest bringing earplugs with you when sleeping.

The hotel offers free bicycle rental for 4 hours per session. I checked with the reception and it is possible to rent for multiple sessions a day as long as each session doesn’t exceed 4 hours. The service is really convenient as the Okayama Castle and Korakuen are just 5-6 minutes ride away on bike!

The temperature is controlled via central heating so it can get very warm inside. We stayed at the hotel during late November and had to leave the windows open throughout the night to avoid overheating.

The hotel was good and clean. We only stayed here for a couple of nights but it was close to shops and transport and was very large compared to other places we had stayed. It is a business hotel (which we did not understand when we booked) so it just has the minimum requirements but is still nice and clean. We would stay here again. The staff were also very nice and the breakfast buffet had very nice food.

The room only has centrally controlled heating/cooling which was not ideal. Luckily we had a full sized window which we could open all the way.

Easily the best hotel we had a chance to stay during our trip to Japan. Location is super close to train station (max 10 minutes on foot), nearby you also have tram and bus stops. Room was more spacious than rooms we typically encountered in Japanese hotels (i think we stayed in twin room with additional bed for 3rd person, but it was still plenty of space for us and our suitcases) Pharmacy/drugstore on the ground floor in the same building, convenience stores nearby. Breakfast was insane (in a very positive sense). It was Japanese-style and the selection was huge, everyone could have something they liked. Staff (both at the reception and during breakfast) super nice and helpful.

The hotel has a nice lobby which is directly connected to Matsumotokiyoshi drug store. Convenient for emergency shopping of all sorts. Room has water cooker, cups and glasses. The beds a large and spacy. There is a small closet. The breakfast is very good with lots of varieties. All amenities and towels available. It was possible to obtain a third bed for the room.

It was possible to rent bicycles, however, you are in danger to hurt your fingers when trying to change the height of the saddle. Also there was only one type of bicycle. It was difficult for companions to uses the bicycle. The plastic bathroom is very simple and standard, nothing special.

The room was incredibly spacious, the largest I've ever had in Japan! The hotel's location is excellent, it has many stores, restaurants, cafés and the Okayama Station is walking distance. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and they offer many washing machines with hangers available for added convenience. The hotel also had a mini museum in each floor, I think that was a wonderful touch!

While the hotel may show its age a bit, I personally don't mind because it offers spacious and practical accommodations, and the staff is incredibly helpful.

The hotel is abt ~10min walk from the JR Okayama station. It had alot of amenities such as free bicycle rental, portable wifi rental, help you send your lugagge and you can even buy a ticket for a onsen (the onsen is pretty far though). The staff are very friendly. If you are a solo traveller like me, you can buy takeaways from nearby convenience stores and heat it up. They have a microwave at almost every level and a laundry on some levels. There is matsuya and yoshinoya nearby as well. Would recommend staying here.

There is nothing much not to like.

The location. Ir was just a 10-15 minute walk from Okayama Station, walk through the lane where Takashimaya sits. The hotel is less than 5 minutes from the eateries and you will be spoilt for choice. When you enter the hotel, you will be greeted by a nice smell that even permeates in the lifts. The room and bath are spacious and clean. Breakfast covers a decent spread of Japanese items. But you can still find scrambled eggs, variety of breads/rolls and yogurt. Even though the front office staff has limited English but they put in efforts to assist in recommending restaurants. Adachi, the young man spent several minutes to assist me to send my luggage to Osaka. Would I return to stay here again - a definite yes cos it was pleasant n money worth! Thank you to all the front desk staff! The hotel has a table for freebies such as toothbrushes, hairbrush, facial cleanser, facial toner to bath salts!

A conveniently located hotel, near the main train station and castle and other main attractions. A few minutes walk takes you to a street of great places for lunch or dinner. The room was large and a nice bathroom. No street noise from traffic. And there is a convenience store on the corner. The breakfast buffets were great.

I thought forcing guest to wear disposal plastic gloves at the buffet was extremely off-putting and an illogical ways to prevent the spread of disease. So every time you went back for a coffee refill, you had to put your thin plastic gloves back on. Meanwhile, guests could be sneezing covid spores over all of the dishes in the buffet line and everything else. I am cautious but this glove-thing was illogical and encountered at only this property on our 3 week trip. But this slight inconvenience would not prevent me from recommending this hotel highly.
