The hotel is less than 5minutes walk from Okayama Station and close to the tram and shopping centre. This hotel had regular hotel room and dormitory type of accommodation. I really like the hybrid room I have. Its like a dormitory style with a convenient of a hotel. The room is decent, comfortable bed and just enough space to put my luggage beside the bed. The breakfast buffet had decent selection of food. I love it. The staffs are amazing. I left the luggage with ease and the same staff help me with check-in. He speaks good English and very helpful. When I left the hotel, a friendly staff near the elevator say a nice departing goodbye. They are really impressive. I highly recommend them.

The bathhouse was great and the staff there were lovely. They had complimentary ice coffee and tea, 1 free ice cream or lolly ice, the place was really beautiful and literally minutes from the station. They even seen you off with someone waiting by the elevator to give you some sweeties or a cake. I really enjoyed it.

WIFI was bad in the room and the welcome drink could only be served in a small plastic cup, who drinks beer out of a small plastic cup. I stayed in a Cabin room which was nice but the cabin rooms don't have toilets so every time someone needs to go in the middle of the night I woke up. You do get your own room and you don't share but it was a little noisy for me personally.

The staff were very friendly and helpful with everything, the cabin room was actually quite comfortable and sufficiently spacious for the price I paid, the temperature was perfect, especially for the hot summer weather, it was also very nice that there is a gym and a sauna

As a minor inconvenience: the gym closed way too early, which is inconvenient as I can finish work quite late sometimes, and the breakfast also ends too early: in summary the timetable of some of the facilities is not ideal for night people like me

Room: The cabin was nice and cozy, exactly like in the photos. The bed was pretty comfortable. The locker under the desk was pretty spacious, enough for my backpack, laptop and snacks. I also liked that the brightness of the room light is adjustable. Location of the hotel was really good too, it's sort of just across the street from Okayama Station. But it's a little tricky to find it on day one. Staff: The staff were nice, and check-in was smooth. The folks that I talked to all knew enough English to facilitate the process. Others: The communal bathroom was very clean. They also have a public bath on the 7th floor with cold and hot tubs, which was a pretty fun experience. Special shoutout to the hotel breakfast, which I LOVED. They have around the same food items everyday: scrambled eggs, sausages, dry udon/pasta, smoked/pickled fish, miso soup, salad, cake, yoghurt, fruits, bread/mini croissants with butter and jam. But I really just went there for the crispy tonkatsu + momotaro curry over steaming white rice. Simply heavenly in the morning. Ate so much for breakfast that I skipped lunch most days.

Lack of privacy: Someone opened the door on me while I was in my room, thinking it was his room. Kind of unavoidable though, given the rooms are not lockable, so just take note. Poor soundproofing: Practically non-existent, but again unavoidable given that they are cabins, not actual rooms. I could hear snoring from 3 cabins away every night. Also the doors are closed using magnets and they make a pretty loud noise when they snap shut. No breakfast tickets: I didn't get my breakfast tickets when I checked in. I only realized tickets were needed when I was exploring the hotel on the first night and went by the restaurant and read the signs. I had to go talk to the staff to get my meal tickets.

Being more of a budget traveller and sleeping primarily in hostels, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that their "cabin rooms" (which I expected to just be like the little capsule rooms) were actually basically smaller one-bedrooms. Facility is clean and has a nice public bath (there's a larger one that they'll switch between men and women on different days) but also has private showers so you have the option. Location was close to the train station, so it was easy getting to different areas for day trips.

The hotel is very close to the central station, on the main road served by trams. It offers many services and amenities: Onsen, gym, office space, vending machines. The breakfast room is open also during the day/evening as a lounge/dining room. The breakfast buffet is very big and varied, with plenty of european/japanese and salty/sweet options. The room is quite basic, but has all the necessary.

The bathroom is really small and not particularly comfortable (a big plastic capsule). The staff was friendly but couldn't speak english very well. Also communication before the arrival was a bit complicated: we asked if they could help us shipping the baggage to the next hotel, but they didn't offer the service or didn't understand our request.

The hotel had all the facilities you could need, including good shower facilities and a laundry room. The cabin rooms were like a private single room, and the beds were comfortable. The spa/bath area of the hotel was so nice, especially the one that was partially outside. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Noise travels very easily in the cabin rooms, and you can hear everything going on outside. Due to people talking, watching TV, snoring, and blow drying their hair there were a few nights when I slept badly,, even with ear plugs/headphones.

The bath facilities are really nice and you have your own little space. You can check how full the baths are using a qr code in your room which was very helpful. The gym was good too as was the laundry. There was also a couple of vending machines and a big area where you could eat. Another plus is that it's situated very close to the station inside a shopping mall which has restaurants and cafés too.

The only negative was the pillow, it was too soft. Then of course some people don't follow the rules like not using the hair dryer late, but that's not the hotel's fault.

The onsen was very clean and relaxing. They offered free ice cream and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks after check-in (only one per person per day). In the capsule room, they give you towels and a pair of pyjamas to wear around the hotel and to the onsen. Each capsule room has a locker so it provides some sort of privacy and security.

The capsule rooms are not soundproof, so you'll hear snoring from neighbours. It can't be helped as this is labelled a "Capsule" room.

This hotel is a short walk away from Okayama Shinkansen station, around the corner from a shotengai; however, it's tucked away on the second floor, cloistered inside a modern building so all the bustle is neatly shielded. It's a step up from your typical capsule hotels in that you have a full bed in what is similar to a cabin. They explain that for business license and corresponding lower fees that are passed on to guests, the doors don't lock -- which isn't a problem, because this is Japan. Despite the low rates, the hotel is kept extremely clean, with new furnishings and touchless automatic doors -- and most importantly, an in-house sento, or communal bath, a blessing for solo travellers who are watching their budgets! Extremely friendly and attentive staff continuously work to maintain upkeep of the facilities, would happily stay again.

There are storage lockers in the bedside table of each cabin to store your valuables. I'm sure it's entirely fine; however being the slightly-suspicious non-Japanese traveller, I would like more secure storage space. This might be slightly unfounded, because I can easily keep passport, laptop, wallet, etc in this storage are, with room to spare; however, it'd be nice to be able to just dump my entire luggage into a secure cabinet and not worry about sorting things out.
