For the price and location, it’s a wonderful value. From here, you are within a 20 minute walk from some of Sapporo's major attractions such as Odori park, the TV tower, Nijo market and so much more. The staff are friendly and try their best to communicate in English, just be patient and speak clearly and slowly so they can understand you better.
Not a lot of bad things to say, if I had to chose something, it would be that they still use physical keys for the rooms. Whenever you go out, you have to give to the front desk. However as soon as you return just say the room number and they’ll give it right back. The bathroom is also a little cramped so if you’re over 6’ then it might be a tough fit for you. Other then that, not a bad place at all.

The bed was comfortable, almost instant hot water, free shuttle to station, great hair dryer and a fridge. Window shutter was great to keep out the 4am sunrise.
On check-in the non-smoking room smelled of cigarettes. They offered 2 other rooms and both smelled of cigarettes and we chose the lesser smelling one. The towels smelled, the curtains smelled as did the lampshade. The bed and pillows didn't smell. My wife opened the window to get fresh air and sprayed deodoriser on everything. This affected her asthma causing almost continuous coughing. We worked out the other rooms on our floor were smoking rooms so the smell made its way into everything. We put a towel across the door gap to keep it out. And kept the window open.
