The bed was very comfy and the facilities were excellent! Everyone was super friendly and helpful and kind and it was a great location, only about a 5 minute walk from the subway station, and the bus to Nippori station was just around the corner, super accesible to the airport liner! It was a great time! The rooftop was quiet and had a beautiful view of Tokyo Skytree, a perfect place to chill out! I had a great time here and would totally stay here again!

It’s affordable and comfortable, and considerably near to a metro line though if it rains, there is no sheltered walkway. Place is clean and does not get too hot during summer as rooms are air conditioned. Place have a large locker and wardrobe away from the rooms. Hangers are provided. Face towel is good enough, no need for large towels which needs separate fee. Privacy is good with curtains. Book in advance as place gets snapped up daily!
Pillow is rather flat. I don’t smoke, but noted that smokers go to smoke in the staircase and the smoke gets blown into the lobby at level 8. Free baggage storage is only up to 6pm and an extra charge of 500yen per hour after. Got me thinking but moving out to use public lockers can be cheaper and save the time to detour back. Soap/shampoo/toothpaste not provided though one can buy them from the vending machine downstairs. Level 3 communal area for eating has no sink though there’s pretty of serviettes and wet wipes.

Bigger capsules, great location, and they have air conditioning. Lots of bathrooms, showers, and sinks. Also, quite a few showers so no wait if it is busy. There are lockers in the building to store tour luggage/belongings. Staff is great and will correct an issue if you let them know.
The hotel was great, but I wish they would really enforce the noise rule after 10pm. Some 19-21 year old came in at 1am and wa smoking all kinds of noise with no regard for others and made it hard for me to get back to sleep. Also, there were some dried stains on the inside of the capsule; I did let the staff know...so again, that falls on the guests, not the Hotel. The Hotel and staff were excellent. If I had to say anything negative...bring your own pillow as theirs are small and flat.

Its a capsule, its everything you need and nothing else. There a little shelf at the head of the bed with a power outlet to charge your phone. A curtain separates you from the outside. Bathrooms and showers are down the hall, pretty clean. Each capsule comes with its own storage closet, enough for 2-3 suitcases. I payed $43 for 3 nights, perfect price! Would recommend.
- They give you a blanket but you have to put it in the duvet cover yourself. - You have to carry your shoes with you, its a bit annoying, would be nice if every capsule had a small cubby/locker on the first floor where you could leave your shoes.

A little Japanese helps, but Japanglish can get the job done at reception. Use the phone to call reception if they're away from the desk. You can change amenities for free everyday. I really like how a sanitary napkin is included in the women's amenities. It's a level of consideration I really appreciate. The women's floor is always air conditioned, there are plenty of showers and toilet stalls. The storage is very wide and includes hangers. You may get more hangers from the hanger area near the elevator. This hotel is a good value for all it offers, so it always books out quickly.
The dryer doesn't really dry and they don't give change for laundry. Use one of the laundromats around the area. Coin laundry 226 Goryusenten is a really good one.

Google Maps is essential for traveling in Japan! This hostel is in a very convenient location in Japan. I traveled alone, and this was a good environment. There were no issues with the shared bathroom. The area provides easy access to Ueno Park, Senso-ji Temple, Tokyo Tower, Akihabara, convenience stores, and more. I took the bus, but using Google Maps was easy! I just matched the bus number on the left side of the road and pressed the "stop" button when I wanted to get off. I only used public transportation because it was unnecessary to use anything else! Lastly, this hostel is for individuals who wish to travel most of the day and need somewhere to rest at night. There is a lounge, but I consider it a waste when parks are nearby! I also appreciated having a storage space to store my clothes and luggage! Interesting perks about the accommodation: - 24 Hour Reception - Free Face Towels - Baggage Storage (9:00 to 18:00) - Reasonable Check-In and Check-Out time - Friendly Staff - Personal storage area with lock and key - Good privacy - Common lounge Honestly, this hostel is very nice for the price paid! From safety to cleanliness, it was excellent! There were a few inconveniences, but it would ask a lot to expect more!
Although a few rules felt too many to follow, the guidelines were very sensible overall. The rules made it a comfortable environment for all, so I recommend staying here if you are okay with following a few rules! The shared lounge also seemed like its purpose was to eat quickly and leave (this was not an issue; I would have just liked for it to feel more open). The hostel does require a small amount of walking, but it should not be an issue. Another downside is that there is a small fee to rent a towel. However, this is very common in Japan. These are not issues; I just wanted others to know. Overall, for the price paid, this accommodation deserves high ratings. I would stay here again!

This is a BUDGET capsule hotel. A place where you can leave your luggage on the large individual storage for the day while going out exploring Tokyo then return to sleep to go somewhere else tomorrow. I would say for the price, you get more than what you pay for considering the location is close to famous stations like Akihabara, Ueno, Asakusa. There is also a nearby convenience store and some 24-hour fast food for the night owls.
Although I don't think it is mandatory, exchanging the key for a card whenever you'll be going out is kind of a hassle, but I do understand it's to make sure we don't lose the key. Also, while they do have a washer/ dryer, even they recommend to just go to a laundry shop because the washer is weak? I hope they could have upgraded it instead.

First time in a capsule hostel and it was really a pleasant surprise as I thought I wouldn't like it: I felt less stuck and more at ease than I thought (even better than bunk beds as you are separate from other people). The dormitory was calm, with a space for bed and a big locker. There were several showers (and even some with a bathtub) and staff gives you towels and bath soap almost everyday (with a comb, a toothbrush and a panty !). There is a room for eating. The location was good for me, 20 minutes by walking from Ueno park.
The bed was not the most comfortable I've slept on, but it was ok. And don't expect a very friendly atmosphere as a lot of people come here after working (it was not bad, just everyone was doing their own stuff).

Great price for a no-frills bed. Fair amount of privacy due to individual capsules. Individual ventilation for capsules, and dehumidifiers in sleeping hall. Individual storage more than adequate for a large bag (~160cm total dimension range) and carry-on. Well-located within the city.
Narrow walkways in sleeping hall makes it difficult to open suitcase in front of some of the beds, which leads to blocked walkways/mazes. The shower stalls looked to have some mold (more than just a small speck or two). The elevator lurched when starting, and did not inspire confidence… Bit of a walk from the nearest subway station, though still within reason.

Despite the low price, the size of the capsule itself was normal, linens were clean, and each capsule had a large closet/locker that was more than enough to store everything needed (plus the location of the closet beign right next to the capsule was great). Each shower having its own door was also nice too, allowing you to keep everything dry more easily.
Location was somewhat awkward, with access primarily being the Iriya subway station, necessitating a bit of a walk every day depending on where you wanted to go.
