Candeo Hotels Ueno Park

Location quite convenient, 7 minutes walk from train/bus station. Next to a convenient store which sell foods in good price (you can buy candy/sweet here as a gift for people at home - the price is event better than Don quijote).

I got a free taxi drive from Narita to the hotel, it is said that the taxi driver will wait for us 30 minutes after the departure. But we have to wait for immigration so the taxi driver had to wait for us about 30 minutes later than expected. I texted him and he confirm that he will wait for us. But he charged us 5.000 yen for the waiting time (which I was not informed before the trip to Tokyo).

The hotel is in amazing location, train station and its line is very accessible, its connected to every line of tourist attractions. The hotel room is smaller than expected but it's enough for small group. Theres no clothes iron so better to bring one if you got a clothes that wrinkle easily. There's Restaurants around the hotel and also grocery stores which is a very good. The staff were helpful. And honestly I can recommend this place to stay in tokyo. Just a heads up that before you reach the hotel there's a stairs like more or less 20 steps after you pass the track bridge, so if you carry a heavy languages might as well ask for help to carry it down. In total, I can give it 8 out of 10.

Overall the room was very clean and spacious. I stayed in a room with a queen bed and it was a decent amount of room for two people. Staff provided clean towels everyday. The location was nice with many places nearby to eat and close to convenient stores. The hotel was also a walkable distance to the Uguisudani train station where I could access the Yamanote line. I’d probably stay here again next time I’m in Tokyo. The breakfast was also good and had a variety of choices.

The pillows were not very comfortable but I managed.

It is a very interesting experience to reach this hotel! We passed through the area of the famous "Japanese love hotels" in JR Uguisudani St. The hotel itself is very cozy, roomy enough. Remarcablly good brearfast!!! Highly recommended.

We don't have any compains this hotel! Much better than hotels in Ginza area. The only thing I didn't understand that we couldn't pay separately by card. It's not the big issue though... Anyhow it was great hotel.

Very convenient place near the night club we were visiting that night.

Very small room and very dim light - it was very dark for my wife to make a proper makeup.

The location was very close to the train station. If they ever give directions, please tell people to get off on the south gate where there is escalators and elevators. Very quiet rooms, and staff was amazing.

The ice machines only on certain floors and selection in the vending machines. The elevator always stopping on the 2nd floor.

It’s a very decent budget hotel. The staff were great. The breakfast was superb. The hotel is a bit dated but it covers up for that by offering bigger rooms.

As others have already mentioned - the location is a bit dodgy with a lot of shady hotels around. Though we didn’t experience any inconvenience because of that.

Location is convenient.

Room is a bit small for 2 persons. Does not tidy up the bed for one day because I have some personal stuff on the bed. But I have some personal stuff on the bed everyday and they tidied up the bed the other days.

The room was clean.

The location is near love hotels so google maps made us walk through it at night to get to the hotel. However, there is a route that goes around the other way which was better.

Room and staff were very nice.

The "return key" system everytinlme I left the hotel to eat out or sightsee. It felt like the hotel didn't trust its guests to keep track of their own room key.
