Hotel Gracery Tokyo Tamachi

Quiet location and only a few minutes from the Tamachi train station. Beds are harder than what we’re used to but after adjusting to them, we slept very well. The room had a deep bath, which came in very handy after walking all day. The staff were helpful and arranged our luggage forwarding.

Very close to lots of helpful local amenities. Plenty of convenience stores, eateries, coffee shops and a supermarket. Most places we wanted to visit were accessible from one of the two nearby stations which was very handy. Discovered a few days into the stay that there was a lounge for guests with facilities to heat up your food and wash your clothes. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Any barriers with languages were quickly broken down with the help of Google Translate and the staff had a device to hand at all times to make this happen.

The sink in our room wouldn't retain water so was unable to run a sink full and we found the beds to be a little hard which was fine for me but my wife struggled with it a little due to her mobility issues.

🏨 Stayed at this hotel for the second time after some years. Staff is great. It was a good stay then and it was a great stay now. Furthermore, the price is much better than then, and the unpleasant tap water taste was fixed. I'd say that for the stay the price was very reasonable this time. 📍 The location is good, nearby to Tamachi JR station and Mita metro stations with Shubaura-Futo Yurikamome station within a walking distance. There's a lot of restaurants and convenience stores around. The location is central enough to travel all around Tokyo, be it in Shibuya-Shinjuku area or Akiba-Ueno area. Note — that despite the presence of a monorail just outside the window the station is not within a walking distance, but within one stop JR lines ride. 🍱 Breakfast was very nice, a decently sized buffet with occasional changes and good variety. The breakfast area never was crowded. Note that the breakfast is noted as being until 10am, but it's better to arrive before 9-30am, as 10am is when the breakfast area closes down. 🚪 The room I personally found to be of good size, with a very good sized bathtub in the bathroom, comfortable for having a bath. Noise isolation is great, no noise from monorail line nearby. The window unfortunately however can not be opened for ventilation. 🛜 Wi-fi worked well in the room and in the common areas.

🧺 There is a washer-dryer in the hotel, but unfortunately only one set, meaning it's likely to see it occupied. Otherwise it's a good washer-dryer station, with detergent automatically added, washing cycle costing 300¥, and drying 100¥ per 30min.

Located a short walk to the train station and amany restaurants which made it very convenient for us. It was one train ride from the Yokohama cruise terminal and one train ride to Tokyo Station and the Narita Express bus. The front desk staff provided very excellent, professional and courteous service with respect to both check-in, check-out, and assistance in locating our lost camera. They communicated to us and to the Japanese park authorities with great care and precision regarding our needs. Breakfast was very good - variety, quality and service were excellent. Room cleaning was done very well and completely.

Location was excellent - we stayed here twice, at the beginning and end of our Japan trip and Tamachi really grew on us. Lots of shops, restaurants and bars, the canal and monorail go past the hotel (but are not noisy). Plenty of life but also urban scenery. Very easy to get to places across Tokyo from here but it's its own little interesting neighbourhood. Very good location if you are using Haneda Airport. Breakfast was very good. Room had everything we needed and we weren't in there much. Bed comfy. Staff nice. Lounge on first floor was decent and comfortable (a few seats a bit torn).

Rooms were very small but we weren't in there much. Possibly normal for Tokyo, I don't know. You can't check in early but you can leave your bags. Water pressure not the best we had in Japan but it was OK, shower etc fine.

For the price the room was nice, quiet, clean and comfortable. Bathroom was rather large for a business hotel which was nice. I also got a view of the river with my room which was lovely. Location is the best part. It's a five minute walk to Tamachi station which I used almost daily. Just across from it is Mita station which connects to the Asakusa line so that was really convenient.

The Hotel has one washer and one dryer. In the week I was there it was available literally once and only once. They need to add more. Otherwise, very happy with my stay.

Enjoyed wooden floors on my level 2 room. Having the lounge on the same level was convenient and gave a good place to do work. Always seemed to be someone at reception which was comforting. Hotel was close enough to two train stations for convenient travel. Breakfast staff were always there to greet you and very prompt with their service.

Obviously it was for security, but I couldn't get up to another level where my sister was staying without her coming down to let me up the lift with her key card. Would have liked a bit more choice for the breakfast buffet for the price.

The location is perfect, a 5 minute walk from Tamachi and Mita stations. It's also a relatively quiet part of Tokyo with lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The hotel itself was extremely comfortable to stay in and the bathroom was spacious enough. Appreciated the fridge for storing snacks bought at the convenience stores too! Cleaners did a great job. The staff are very friendly with a pretty good grasp of English for people who don't speak Japanese.

The breakfast wasn't quite worth the price in my opinion. It was good, with a decent buffet but for the same price or less you could probably get a better breakfast somewhere else nearby.

We stay 9 nights and only the last night then found out that on the second floor has a printing machine !!! Front office staffs were Friendly and helpful. Second floor rest area there is free coffee making machine, tea and water. Washing machine by coin operate (guessing) never use it. Many restaurant, food outlet and supermarket nearby (within 500m) Life supermarket will have 30% discount for Sashimi and Bento box. Out of 9 nights, my daughter ate 7 nights at Yakiniku Like ( Do not order Wagyu beef as side order, it came mostly FAT, we tried twice !!), overall meal cost in the range of between AUD$15 - AUD$30 per person, cheaper then our food court in Australia !!! The other Yakiniku "Gyu XXX" on the 8 floor, was not children friendly, they dont even able to supply a fork for my daughter !!!

There is no smoking area within the hotel, but you can take the risk smoking near the river beside the hotel.....becareful not to be caught by police!!! lol

The location was within a 10 min walk of two metro stations with access to several different lines. I was able to take a direct train from the Mita Station to the Haneda Airport in 30 min for 510 JPY. There was a guest lounge on the second floor which had a microwave and coffee however you could not eat there. A self-service laundry was available. The room was well appointed with a good supply of plugs. There was even a connection with several different types of plugs by the bed. The breakfast buffet was one of the best that I experienced on my visit to Japan but a bit pricey at 1980 JPY.

Not all of the front desk staff were fluent in English. I had stayed at the Hotel Gracery Ginza the previous week and all of the staff there were easy to communicate with.
