Room ammenities (coffee, tea, toiletries downstairs) were all of good quality Very comfy & cozy room; the PJs especially were so comfotable to sleep in Friendly staff & good customer service (not overintruding but always there for questions) Commitment to sustainability (you could opt for a light cleaning to save resources); cleaning service was spotless either way though
Not actually an issue for us but might be for other travellers, especially families: pease consider if the location suits your needs - the hotel is located in a business district so not much to do there; the only attraction within walking distance is the imperial palace, but otherwise the hotel can only be used as a base to other places In addition, the hotel is close to both subway & JR but still a bit of a walking distance meaning you still had to walk back in the evening, with not many konbini options nearby (only 3 nearby open late but many shelves were empty in the evening)

The hotel looks new, and was very clean and very close to Kokyo Station where you can get the Shinkansen to other makor Japanese cities. We stayed during Winter, so when it was raining or too cold, the underground maze under Tokyo Station took us almost to the hotel door, to exit A2 as labeled on Google Maps. Alas, A2 is very hard to find in the labirinth underground. We found it much easier to just walk an extra block above ground, and use exit A5. You can find a convenience store (7-Eleven) open 24/7 just around the block. Check-in and check-out is done on machines in the lobby, but we always found staff near them helping us in the process. The restaurant in the ground floor looks small, but they're very organised and we always had no problems finding seats for both of us. The breakfast options easily catered to our western taste, and allowed us to also try some asian (Japanese?) options. We stayed in the top floor and had a good view of Tokyo. The room was always warm, and even though Japanese hotels tend to be small in area, we had room for 3 large bags and both of us.
One of the sides of the bed was next to the wall, so one of us had to get in/out from the bottom of the bed, but this seems to be a common layout in Japan.

Optimal location to visit the rest of Tokyo. It's 10 min walking to Tokyo Station, 4 min away from the subway line, very close to both the super fun district of Akihabara and the Imperial Palace gardens. The staff was very polite and considerate. Compared to other places we stayed in Japan, the breakfast was diverse enough to meet our European breakfast habits. There are two coin laundry machines and a vending machine which is handy. The hotel lobby and the bakery where breakfast is served look gorgeous. Room size was quite okay for a couple carrying two medium sized suitcases (enough space to open them in the room). Great bathroom and as all Japanese hotels you can get all you need for your hygiëne needs (toothbrushes, toothpaste, razorblades, shaving cream, hairbrushes, etc.). Wifi and TV were also good.

Free coffee and snacks in the afternoon was a lovely touch. Breakfast was great, room was exceptionally clean. Staff were lovely and helpful. Great size room and comfy bed with a couple of pillows to choose from which I love. Couldn't fault it. Would stay here again. Explored Ginza, Akihabara and went down to TeamLab Planet, Sky Tower and Imperial Gardens. The Tokyo train system is exceptional and Found the hotel was well placed close to Tokyo, Kanda and Otemachi stations. Felt safe walking at night.

This hotel is in a fantastic location - close to 2 local train stations (Otemachi & Kanda) and very close to Tokyo station. It's in a nice safe area with quite a few restaurants fairly close and within a short walk. The room was a decent size & had a good bathroom, it also had a comfortable bed & pillows (not always standard in Japanese hotels). The hotel provides free tea & coffee all day in their foyer breakfast room / cafe area. The staff were all very friendly and obliging with assisting any queries when asked. After staying in another hotel in the Gion district - the Mitsui Garden Hotel Otemachi was a great choice and we would definitely stay there again.
It would be great if there was a reading lamp on both sides of the bed, but that's a small issue.

Location was a bit far from Tokyo station, if you are arriving at Tokyo station with the Shinkansen you would have to transfer to the local JR line to Kanda and instead of the confusion of transferring at Tokyo station we opted to just walk. This slightly longer walk to Tokyo station will give you direct access to many lines such as the Keiyo line for Disneyland, the Chuo line for Mitaka (Ghibli museum), airport buses, Shinkansen to many other cities, and others - without transferring). But for in-city local travel, JR Kanda is closer for JR lines and Otemachi is closer for the underground. All in all very convenient location still! The room was great for 2 adults and a toddler, it had a table and chair and plenty of hallway space for a kid. We had forwarded our luggages to this hotel and the front desk of both hotels were extremely helpful with this process. We had forwarded our luggages a bit late, and were fully prepared to not have our luggages yet, it was a happy surprise to find that the luggages had not only arrived, but were already waiting in our room. The amenities in the room were displayed in the lobby for us to take on our own. The ones available in the room (soaps) were also good. The front desk staff that checked us in (so sorry we did not catch your name) also helped us get a taxi upon departure and helped us a lot with info and advised us on what to do when catching the bus to the airport.
The room is rather small - though honestly bigger than what we expected. This is completely expected for Japan, so we were actually pleasantly surprised. But if you are travelling with a lot of luggage you may want to take this into consideration.

Basic hotel, good price range for the location, pretty quiet area, close to Otemachi and Kanda metro AND Tokyo Station and therefore close to everything. Coffee and tea in lobby a plus. Two 7-11's are around the block, and cute walkable row of restaurants towards Kanda station is three blocks away.
Didn't love the breakfast options. Tried to use the washer/dryer but it took hours. Was pretty small room for a 6-night stay in Feb. with bulky bags, but did have everything we needed and was great on the budget.

The staff were extremely nice and welcoming, the location was great as it was a short walk away from the metro station. The rooms and lobby were very clean and modern. The rooms themselves were equipped with everything and anything you might need on your trip. From the start to the end of the stay we have thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and will be staying with them on our next trip to Japan.
There are only 2 elevators, which in the mornings it can be quite hectic and slow to go down to the lobby.
