Grand Central Hotel

Great location, convenient, great staff, nice breakfast

Not an issue for me but my room hasn’t been remodeled since the 80’s. And it was small. It is surrounded by construction for the outside, but I’m not in the hotel during the day, so a nonissue. But it was clean, not rundown, comfortable. Staff was great.

The room was clean and spacious. The beds were also quite big and comfortable. You got free pajamas in the room which was a very nice touch. The location was great, very close to Kanda station which has a connection with the metro line and JR line. It's also in walking distance from Akihabara. The area is very lively around Kanda station and you can get great food there. You have to leave your keys at the reception but they're available 24 hours which is great if you want to have a night out.

Two of the travelers were smokers and the smoking area is in the hotel restaurant. There is no smoking area in the hotel itself so if the restaurant is closed there is no smoking area available which was a bit inconvenient since smoking on the street is not allowed.

5-10 minutes walk from the iconic places of ancient Tokyo. The area full of convinies: Family Marts, Mini Stops, 711 and Aeon within 50-100 meters. Good restaurants as well. If you plan bigger trips inside Tokyo the Kanda station also near by. The hotel is clean, have friendly feeling.

Check in was smooth and the staff friendly. English skills were moderately good.

I was disappointed that there was no security box in the room and that the general decor was tired- particularly in the bathroom. For the price, I felt breakfast should have included or at least cheaper.

Very good Hotel , I like so much! kanda station 5 minutes walking! near every where we want to go, beautiful hotel, Nice personnes, restaurant with good food, free coffee all day, excellent hot coffee !!! Excellent Grand central hotel.

Nice location, easy to access food and transport, super close to a kids playground. The rooms were clean and quiet. The beds and pillows were very comfortable

The room was very small, there was nowhere for our suitcases except on the bed. There was literally not enough floor space to have the suitcase open on the floor.

Every day they make the beds. New towels everyday. Fast elevator. Nearby food restaurants available.

No smoking area.

Excellence service provided -luggage storage: they were happy to store my luggage for free few days before I checked in and the day after I checked out. -they had a cupboard full of different kinds of pillow for guests to pick what’s suitable for them -friendly and helpful staff

Great Staff made our stay very confortable . big rooms for Tokyo and comfortable beds .

Breakfast could be better . only 2 choices every day and they repeat , so if you stay more than 3 nights breakfast becomes too of the same .

Location was practical. Near metro station of Ginza line which reaches the many attraction points

Room was too small. If the furniture in the room is reduced, one can find place to open the luggage maybe.
