The property was cozy. A little tight for three people, but nonetheless, it was comfortable. The property is like a small studio apartment. You can cook light meals if you want. There is also a washing machine in the lavatory area - which I appreciate. I also liked the drying feature of the shower area - this doubles as a dryer for clothes and it dries out the shower area as well. This keeps the shower room from smelling musty. Now I kinda want one in my own shower area. There is one single bed and one sofa bed that turns into a double bed. If the sofa bed is used as a bed, the room significantly looses space to move comfortably - and that’s coming from an Asian. We had to strategically place our luggages throughout the room so as not to impede with our movements. There is a small porch that you can have access to. You can also use this area to hang your wet clothes . The property is equipped with an elevator. So it’s not a problem going up to your room. If on the day of your check out, you’ll have a late flight, there’s a small luggage room which you can store your luggage. Overall, the property was clean. Although I think a little pricey- but i think this depends on the season. I also liked the acoustics of the room. Kept everything quiet.

I found the price to be a little expensive being that there is no concierge/staff that you can interact with. Plus the property is also located a little bit beyond the main areas of Asakusa or Ueno. Although it can be accessed via a bus or train system - it’s at least a 20++ minute walk to these places. The property had direct access to the train station w/c is great. But if you are coming from Narita, it takes an hour and 40 minutes on the local train w/c is quite a journey. Taking the Skyliner does decrease the travel time but it entails some transfers. It should be fine but sometimes when you’ve been traveling for so long, you just want to go straight to your destination.

Actually the location was very good for us, quiet residential area, but with enough convenient stores, few restaurants and easy access to several subway stations to visit most of the city easily (even if required a bit walking). We walk 2 times to Asakusa which is a pretty nice quarter of Tokyo. Also not far from Sumida river, offering as well nice strolling options. Great to have a washing machine and possibility to dry laundry. Separate shower and toilet is great when you are 3 people. But size was indeed tiny. Handy little kitchen for breakfast and basic cooking. Wifi was fine, as well as A/C (it was pretty hot when we were there). Met the "Manager" of the place a couple of times and was a nice guy, who can provide infos (Only in the afternoon). Comfy bedding, even on the sofa bed.

Well, the space was pretty small, but might be normal by Japanese standard. Still for 3 adults, you don't have much room to move around once the sofa is open. But we closed it during day time if we were in the room. For single travellers or even a couple, it's just fine. Lack of pretty basic things: it would be nice at this price to have some tea bags, sugar, salt and pepper, toothpaste... things that are not costly but come handy for travellers.

Clean and Comfortable. There's a washing machine in the unit and you can dry your clothes in the bathroom as it has a drying function. The location is walkable to Asakusa, Kuramae and Ueno, and while it's not close to any one station, there are some stations in the area (approx. 12min walk to each)

The room lighting is not as pictured in the listing. The room's main lighting is a bright fluorescent light, so just be aware. The larger sofa bed is not comfortable.

It was quite a handy location, with 3 different train lines within an easy 10 minute walk, plus a good grocery store very close by. The room was comfortable and perfect for a solo traveler, but 2 people would probably also be comfortable. The laundry set up is great with your own washer, and places to hang things up to dry. Bed was comfy, air conditioner and TV worked. The kitchen utensils and furniture seemed fairly new and were in good shape. Quiet neighbourhood.

There were quite a few stains and spills on the wall paper in the bathroom area. It's the kind of material that's not easy to clean, and it looks a bit... gross.

The room is clean, and spacial that able us to open two luggages (28' and 26') at the same time. It is good that microwave, plates and mugs are available at our room which we can cook our own meal if we want to. There is also a 24 hours supermarket near the hotel and I like it very much.

No staff stand by in the hotel, when we need prompt help, we have to message them through online booking chatroom and waiting for their response. It's really inconvenient when we in an urge.

Really clean and convenient. Well situated. Direct line at kuramae for both Tokyo airports and easy to access all tourist spot. The neighborhood is really calm and pretty. Smoking area available. All the the kitchen tools that you could need. Genuinely great for a first Japan trip as a couple. Thank you !

I don't think that is link to the hotel but more associated with how Japan appartement are build but sound isulation is not that great. If you have a neighbor that is not really quiet, you could hear him walk or cook. But it was only one neighbor. Not really hotel related

We really enjoyed the amenities at this hotel! The in-unit washing machine (and bathroom “drying” feature”), TV, kitchen supplies, and spacious room made our stay SUPER comfortable! Check-in was really easy and loved that there’s an elevator. My partner and I stayed here for 8 nights and had no issues. Even though it’s not the closest to the stations, it was still a doable 10-15 minute walk to a handful of stations. We would definitely stay here again.

The only downside is because there’s no active staff on site, you won’t be able to do luggage forwarding services or talk to someone if you have any issues. Luckily we didn’t need that though! The location is also not the closest to the main part of Asakusa but it's still easily accessible by train.

Excellent location, really quiet area and close to the subway stations you need to get around Tokyo. rooms are like small apartments with facilities you need to survive and be comfortable. having a washing machine was especially nice.

shower was small, and was sometimes hard to balance the temperature/pressure when a lot of other tenants were showering at the same time. provided towels are really thin and small, so it’s best to bring your own.

Really good value! Quiet neighborhood. Written description and facilities are all accurate. Space is good enough for 3 people who have average southeast asian builds, with enough space to walk around, organize luggages, etc but would definitely feel cramped for those with larger builds. Complete with appliances and amenities/toiletries (except toothpaste) as well. There is a nearby grocery store and convenience store as well just 1-5 minutes walk. Lots of local food stores nearby as well. Specially loved the drying/heating functions of the bathroom, which has heated water as well.

Train stations are at least 7-10 minute walks but not a big deal for me. Would've loved to have a smart tv as well for streaming when resting in the room.

The apartment was quite comfortable and relatively easy walking distance from a few subway stations - the supermarket nearby was super convenient too. It was also very quiet and despite having two other rooms on the same floor, we barely thought about our neighbours. The surrounding area is also not super touristy, even though it's pretty close to major tourist draws like Asakusa, Ueno Zoo, and the Skytree. We also all thought that "Mr. Kintaro" was a fun name for a hotel 😄

There were a couple of minor annoyances we found, but nothing drastic. For example, there is a little coffee table, but it's not very comfortable for a family of three to eat at from the sofa bed and the floor was cold and hard. Also, the light switch for the bathroom/vanity area gets hidden behind the door you use to get in it, so it was a pain if you already opened the door before realising you needed some more light. We also found a few strands of hair in the futon which definitely didn't belong to any of us - other than that though, everything was fairly clean
