Absolutely fantastic, my husband and I loved this spot for our honeymoon. Of the 7 hotels we stayed in, this was definitely one of our favorites, even above the 5 star luxury ones in Tokyo. Great location for what we wanted to do, and there was an awesome tiny ramen restaurant right down the street that was delicious (Tori Ginger) Check-In / Check-Out system was all automated on iPads, and they allowed us to leave our luggage with them while we waited to check in, so it was very easy to explore the city on our own time. The check-out system was a life saver, because we had a 6am Shinkansen to make the next morning, so being able to check out at any time on the iPad was perfect. It was very relaxing to get drinks from the vending machine and sit at the park across the street and relax. Loved the GIANT beds!!! Two big sized pushed together in the room to make a giant sleeper mattress.

Nothing bad at all. The only thing I would caution is that the rooms don’t have a lot of walking/standing space. We didn’t mind, but it could be disappointing to foreigners who are used to having bigger rooms.

Hotel was great. Two queen size beds, plus a bunk bed with two doubles. Bathroom and toilet were small but had everything needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is great. Park right across the road for the kids. Two minute walk to 7-11 and subway station, 5-6 minute walk to larger train station. Ueno is a great part of Tokyo. Really easy to check-in and the pin pad door locks were handy not having to carry a key. They provided us umbrellas on the day that it rained.

No elevator, had to walk up two flights of stairs, but we were aware of this during booking. They dont service the apartment daily unless you request it (once again they informed us about this prior to arrival) and they changed the towels every two days. No big issues, just pointing it out for people who might be interested.

This hotel was wonderfully located to many metro and Japan Rail lines and stations as well as being walking distance to a number of sights. We liked that the location felt more low-key suburban (as much as that is possible in Tokyo) than some of the more central high-rise locations. We were worried about this being a self-check-in hotel (there is no-front desk or staff that we saw) but the information they provided ahead of time and the ability to register all guests ahead of time made entry to this hotel and our room very easy – especially since we were arriving late at night.

Not enough towel drying racks - we had 5 people in a room that can sleep 6 and we had to drape our towels to dry over any surface possible.

- Several subway stations are in walking distance. - There are convenience stores, supermarkets and simple restaurants in walking distance. - Staff was very friendly. - The room's layout was very good (we had a corder room with balcony for two grown ups and two kids).

- From the picture and description provided I did not expect that I had to carry my suit cases to the fifth floor. - While the room was perfectly clean, the stairway looked a bit run down. I think it should be renovated.

The hotel is in a quiet street. The room is comfortable and clean. It is 5mn away from an underground station. Wifi was efficient. Price is interesting for Tokyo.

We stayed two nights and each time we heard some shoutings / screams coming from another room. I do not know if this is because the walls are not sound-proof or if the other guests were very loud. It was not that bad but a bit disappointing. There is little space in the room so once you have placed your suitcases there is almost no space to walk. There was nobody at the reception desk (I think that is supposed to be that way) and there is no lift (despite four floors).

the room size is very big, suitable for family. the beds are huge and comfy. The hotel is in a nice and quiet neighbor near the subway station and about 1km to JR station and all the shopping area.

The front desk staffs are not always there. No other facilities like baggage storage (but the hotel already inform in advance, but it would be great if the service is available)

Location was excellent. Close to Ueno, Asakusa, Tokyo skytree and Akihabara. The beds and pillows were SO comfortable. Actually the best we slept on. Good sun blockout for early mornings. The staff were very lovely and helpful when I messaged them about anything. Check-in was easy.

Paper thin walls. Our neighbours weren't exactly quiet and stayed up til 2.30am (not the hotels fault), but the sound was an issue for us. The room was very small, not much space for the 4 of us (2 adults, 2 kids).

Its very near the train station, shopping districts, 7/11s, family marts, and lawsons. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and good natural light.

- no everyday cleaning of the room - no sleepwear - no luggage counter - no water dispenser

This was a very pleasant surprise, having stayed in several tiny hotel rooms in Japan. The room was very large, and lots of space to spread out as a family. Bedding comfortable and big 2 double beds pushed together making a giant bed, plus 2 double size bunk mattresses. Good powerful shower. The location is very convenient to shin-okachimachi station (2 minute walk on flat ground). Lovely playground park across the road.

Tiny fridge holding about 6 cans of drink only. No microwave.
