We love this hotel! This area has everything - from shops, restaurants, to arcades and karaoke! The hotel offers many amenities, the staff are very nice and we enjoy it very much- it's already our third stay! The room is small, but it is noted when ordering, and we find it good for us. The water pressure is amazing and not obvious in Japan at all.

We chose this hotel because of it's proximity to the train station which was right across the street. There are numerous stores and restaurants very close by including a Don Qui next door, Kura Sushi across the street, BigBox which includes a variety of stores such as Loft and Uniqlo. The hotel itself was great - breakfast was good, amenities were ample, front desk was helpful, facilities were very clean. We had a corner room which gave us a lot of space for two people. I highly recommend this hotel as it's out of the busy Shinjuku area but still on the Yamanote loop to get those "tourist" attractions.

It's not a big deal, but it would be great if we could send our luggage forward from the hotel instead of us taking it to the 7-11 to ship (it's across the street). But 7-11 does an excellent job of handling the shipment for you.

It was close to the train station and could easily been found. The room was clean and tidy. Location was great and easy to get around the city.

My experience was all good.

Very convenient location for my purposes. Just across from the JR station, close to the clinic I needed to visit. Buffet breakfast exceed expectations (compared to only the one other Sotetsu Grand Fresa I've stayed at). Had dinner in the hotel one night, it was also quite good. No fitness facility but that is normal for Japanese business hotels. User friendly check-in and out. Friendly and helpful staff (although the stay is arranged so you pretty much don't have to deal with anybody if you don't want to).

After 30 years living in Japan, I still don't like the tiny hotel rooms and cramped bathrooms. But it is what it is. The room was slightly warm for my preferences even with the heating unit turned as far down as it would go. At least I could crack a window and get some fresh air in and that helped.

The location was even better than expected — less than a one minute walk around the corner from the Takadanobaba Station entrance, right next to a Don Quixote, and at the intersection of at least two convenience stores and a mall. Service was excellent; everywhere was clean and well-equipped with amenities and up-to-date technology. The self check-in/check-out processes went quickly and smoothly. The elevator requires scanning your room key to access the higher floors, so it felt like there was an added bit of security. We had a city view from the ninth floor, but since the sun rises so early it was nice that the curtains blocked light effectively so we didn't wake up too early. We also no problems with noise anywhere on or around the property; the neighborhood wasn't completely empty late at night (since convenience stores and Don Quixote are still open) but it felt like a safe facility/street, and we rarely heard or even saw any other hotel guests except in the lobby.

The shower leaked a little despite the fact that we used the curtain, so the bath mat got soaked and the bathroom floor was wet some of the time. There was not much floor space to have suitcases open — we were comfortable living out of two carry-ons, but it would have been difficult to use a full-size suitcase (probably almost impossible to have two) in the type of room we had. So if you have a lot of luggage, consider a room bigger than the one with just a double bed.

The location of this hotel was so convenient! It was my first time in Japan with my partner but the walk to the train station was so close. We could easily access all the places we wanted to travel to. The staff were lovely as well. I accidentally put a wash for too long... I had reservations at a cafe in Chuo City which is far from our hotel so I wasn't going to be able to pick up my laundry. I let the staff know and they bagged my clothes nicely until I returned. Not all of the staff knew English so when I was talking to the receptionist she tried her very best to understand what I was saying. She even got a translator out to tell me what she was saying in Japanese. Overall it was very peaceful and quiet in the hotel. I loved the view from my room.

It got very warm in the rooms at times so I kept the air off or super low. The pillows were okay, you can ask for extras at the front desk.

Excellent location, with a train station across the street. The automatic checkin process is quick and available in multiple languages. The room is small which is expected for Tokyo, but that was not an issue, it was confortable. The staff was helpful whenever needed, nothing to complain.

No major issues, but some possible improvements. - There are only 3 washing machines, they are definitely not enough for the entire hotel, but there is 24h laundry close by if you need. - The hotel does not offer TA-Q-BIN(宅急便), you need to go to a close 7-eleven to forward your luggage to another hotel (However, the staff did help with the required form.)

The room and bathroom itself has more space than the usual Tokyo hotels. It was clean and had modern looking rooms. Facilities were great; there were 3 coin laundry machines that automatically puts detergent and dry. Can also use IC card to pay for one of the machines. 2 vending machines, 1 ice machine and a microwave. All of these facilities were on Level 4 which i stayed at so it was very convenient. They provide disposable slippers, pjs, fabric spray, many clothes hangers. There was a humidifier and strong AC in the room. Free amenities in front of the lifts to take what you NEED. The hotel was very close to the station so that was convenient. Burger King and some convenience stores close by and next to a Donki. Was able to use Airporter to luggage forward at the hotel. They provide a pamphlet on the information or can use Klook to book. We just put out bags at reception in the morning. There are 3 check in and out machines. If you need someone, you can just ring the bell. I did not have breakfast at the hotel.

No complimentary water but there was a vending machine on L4 to purchase

The location as excellent: close to eateries, JR line and metro and convenience stores. The price was competitive given that it was a busy summer season for tourists. The staff were able to accommodate my requests (arrive at 8 AM having paid for the night before) and arranging airport transfers. I didn't have any issues with language barriers. The rooms were very clean and there were amenities free to take on the ground floor. However, temper your expectations with Japanese hotel rooms; it is a tight squeeze for two people and luggage which is common. Breakfast was delicious.

Breakfast was great, but there are limited choices (3 mains). Pillows were a bit small.

1minute walk from the train station. Convenience stores and supermarket right around the corner (1-2mins). Right next to a Don Quijote, Burger King and KFC. The train commute is close yet far. Travelling Tokyo, Ginza, Akihabara etc is around 30mins on average. They have laundry machines for 500yen for 1kg load, which was handy during long stays and cheap enough. Staffs are friendly and speaks English which is a plus.

The size of the rooms are okay for Tokyo standards, but when it comes to opening and packing your suitcases, the rooms become too small and a hassle. The hotel does not provide water bottles as their water are purified in the hotel rooms, but I personally cannot get myself to drink from the bathroom tap so spent a bit on water during my long stay. The house keeping staff is not around 24hours within the hotel so if there are anything mishaps will need to wait until the next day. We had an incident where the house keeping staff changed our sheets on a routine day but when we returned for the day we could see visible dirty marks on it. Reception said they couldn’t do anything about it as the cleaning staffs were not around anymore.
