1) Hotel facilities - A wide range of pillows for you to choose from. Amenities / Toiletries for you to use during your stay. 2) Coin laundry ($2 for wash & $1 for dryer) - What's not to love? 3) Breakfast - Although food selection is limited but it provides a healthy range of food, ranging from fresh salads to 鶏唐揚げ (sometimes). The omelette is 美味しいよ! 4) Drinks corner / Vending machine - Ranging from coffee to alcohol drinks available. 5) Room space is enough for 1 person comfortably. 6) No room card / keys - You are given a 6 digit passcode to enter your room. No need to worry about losing cards or keys. 7) Housekeeping does their job really well 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 8) Front desk / Reception staff always have a smile (in their eyes as they are wearing mask). Very friendly and always helping me and other visitors with our queries. 9) Safe environment (can be improved). Nearby the hotel, there is a Daily Yamazaki コンビニ, Yoshinoya diner, お酒店, an old shop selling handmade nuts せんべい. Plus a ラーメン店 named 一龍.

1) Distance to the train station (Ginza Line / Toei Asakusa Line) 2) Use of plastic gloves after alcohol hand rub during breakfast - Not environmentally friendly. Alcohol hand rub should suffice. 3) No surveillance camera on the floor that I am at (Level 10) - Only in the lift and level 2 (reception / common dining area).

Excellent location being near the Sensō-ji temple and in the center of Asakusa there are tons of shops, restaurants, convenience stores, attractions nearby such as Skytree, and a large Matsumoto Kiyoshi around the corner for everyday essentials all within walking distance. The train station is a bit of a distance away though still easy enough to walk to, but might not be ideal as a place if you are commuting out often with heavy luggage to the station. Breakfast is good has a nice variety of food and seems to be changed to something different pretty regularly every few minutes when they run out, so within a day you could try multiple different kinds of food. Pretty clean overall housekeeping does a great job. Wifi is good and fast, but would sometimes disconnect me randomly once a day not too big of a deal just reconnect. Laundry is easy to use. Quiet at night not much traffic or activity. Rarely heard noise from other room besides the hallway. Great water flow and hot water alway available. Reasonably priced for Tokyo with good value in location. Staff were good, they speak decent english and were able to help me with luggage forwarding.

Rooms are rather small couldn't open my large luggage besides on the bed though a bit expected for Tokyo. Bathrooms themselves are also a bit compact. Windows are tinted so no view. No 24/7 front desk so checking in is not possible after midnight which was almost a problem since my plane landed rather late close to time. I did contact the hotel and they were willing to extend it a bit incase I came by later after close, so good hospitality regardless. Breakfast while good didn't always have many meat options besides usually fish and fried chicken or sausages, but I was staying for awhile so naturally you eventually try everything.

Staff were very friendly, and breakfast was complimentary every day. Breakfast had a decent variety, which also changed daily. Lots of complimentary amenities, limited to 5 per night stay, and also bath powder! The location was decent, 8 minutes to Asakusa Station for Ginza line and about 12-15 minutes to Asakusa Station for Asakusa line (with elevator) It is also close to Sensoji and Sumida River.

Only one elevator, which is difficult for breakfast time as there are 10 floors, and the lift is slow. We were 2 people in a room, parent and child, but every time, they only supplied 1 towel, and every day for 6 days, I had to ask for an additional towel. So that was very frustrating. Room is small - we didn't mind, but if you have luggage, it may be quite difficult to have your bag open/get clothing out as there is only 1 small wall area to hang and our room only had 3 hangers. We had to close our suitcase and stick it in the walkway near the door every night lol

Good value for money in Asakusa.

Very poor breakfast for Western standards. Closes at 8.30am.

This was great value for money, right by Senso-ji temple and busy surrounds, but still gave us a nice quiet night's rest. Asakusa station isn't too far away, and there is a 24-hr Don Quixote store in the area as well. A very tall sign makes the building easy to spot on arrival. Probably the comfiest pillows we've had on our Japan trip (these you choose yourself from a variety available. In the room already are some rather hard bean-filled pillows which are ok for propping you up to watch TV but not so much for resting your head!) Rooms are very Tokyo-sized (i.e small) but manageable. I like that we could get connecting rooms so our kids had their own room. Breakfast was pretty good with a good variety of Japanese and western options.

There is nothing in the essentially empty little lobby to tell you that you're in the hotel, or where to go to check in. You just take the lift to the 2nd floor (fortunately my daughter could read enough on the floor directory to confirm that our intent to go to level 2 was reasonable) but it would be great to have a sign to tell you this. The lift can be a bit slow - there is only one lift for a tall building (?9 floors, I think), so should you accidentally get off on the wrong floor, you may be there for some time.

From the amenities you can take up to your room (they've got the usual items like shower caps, cotton buds, body scrub, but not to be missed also are their face masks and herbal pads) to the fact that you can pick your own pillow out! They have all the pillows laid out, too, so you can just feel for which one you like and make your own selection (no Japanese needed). Plus they have drinks and breakfast is simple but a nice spread of Western and Japanese dishes! Finally, all the major transportation, sightseeing, and shopping is within a 10 minute walking radius!

The room might seem a little small if you are used to Western sized rooms, but the safety, comfort and cleanliness can't be beat. English support is limited, but most everything is pretty self explanatory and if you just go with the flow then it's alright.

I was surprised by this hotel. At this price range and at peak season, this is like an upgrade of hotels in this price range, even better than slightly more expensive hotels. Although not in the luxury range, it exceeded my expectation because the hotel is more modern, the room bigger and amenities better. It even included breakfast for the price. Perhaps it is the location that makes it perhaps less desirable. It is a longer walk from the Asakusa subway station but not too long. There are hotels less than 10 minutes walk even less than 5 minutes walk but this is a good 12-15 minutes if you walk fast. If you don't mind the walk it is good. I don't mind even with heavy luggage. The walk is straight forward and easy, no stairs involved. And if take the street with the covered shops you can even look around at the shops and restaurants while walking there. Check in was fast. Instead of keys or key cards, they give you a pass code. You key the code to enter your room as well as to enter the hotel at the ground floor between midnight and 7am. The sliding door are locked between these hours. The room is bigger than hotels at this range. Decor is more modern. The usual amenities are there: fridge, kettle, tv, hairdryer, slippers... The bathroom also seem roomier and less of a step up from the room. There is a window which only looked to the wall of the next building. I didn't mind. I don't normally look out of the windows in a hotel room. The supplied pillow was hard but you can choose other pillows at the second floor reception. There were also other free stuff at the lobby like ear plugs, combs, moisturizers, etc Breakfast is served from 630am so my second morning I could not take as I left at 530am to catch my flight. The variety was limited though, some pastries, bread, spaghetti and some Japanese dishes which I didn't take. There was coffe, tea and juices. I would come back again gladly even though it was farther.

More varieties for breakfast will be good. Also a luggage rack in the room will be perfect.

Loved the location, 200m from Sensoji Temple. 7-11 on the corner and restaurants near by. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Lots of options for amenities (best we had whole trip) and evening drinks where a bonus.

My only negative was not much communication prior to check in (didn't respond to my email) and check in closes at mid night. Our flight was delayed by 2 hours and I was anxious we wouldn't have a room for the night, lucky we got there a bit after 11:30. They need to have an after hours check in for this scenario.

The breakfast selection was vast. I have a soy & Peanut allergy and they even had breakfast items that I could eat. They also offered everything from pajamas, slippers, toiletries, umbrellas, etc. Loved the location. Train station, a shrine, and many restaurants were a short walk away.

The room was really small for two people, but that's to be expected in Japan.

The hotel was a comfortable place to stay. We appreciated the little touches - such as access to accessories like pillows when you arrive. The breakfast was very extensive, more than we expected, including the open bar at the end of the day. The room was comfortable, not alot of space but we did not expect that so it wasn't a problem. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic.

The room was quite compact, but as noted above, we did not expect a large room in this hotel. There could have been more details about the need to check in on the second floor of the hotel on arrival - this was not stated in any of the check in information we received when we arrived.
