Jordan River Hotel

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They warned us about taxi scams by sending us the right fare from the bus station to their hotel. Taxi drivers tried to charge us twice of the normal fare. I'm really grateful to the hotel staff for warning us about them. Besides they gave us precious information about visiting Amman. I'd love to go back to that hotel as the room was spotless and financially affordable, just a few minutes away from the Citadel, the city centre and the Hussein mosquee.

Nothing to see. I really enjoyed my stay at that hotel with such nice staff.

The room was really clean, big, and they changed it for a private bathroom room instead of a shared bathroom one, so that was so nice from the staff. The staff is really kind and the location is great, as this hotel is really close to the city centre and the most touristic attractions, such as the Roman theatre or the Citadel.

There is not a kitchen, just a dining room with tables and chairs, and some tea. I would expect a kitchen or minimum a refrigerator in case customers want to eat something at the property.

the place and thelocation just perfect and walking distance from the hussle and buzzle of amman downtown (the old city), the staff are really helpfull and nice. the price i would say is the lowest in amman real good. i am happy with this accommodation. breakfast is good and made fresh for the customer specification. room is clean so is the shower.

the enterance to the building is very bad looking but as soon as you enter the hotel at the third floor, every thing changes.

Great location and very helpful stuff with good tips. The hotel itself was old and needs renovation, but it was clean and was fine for staying there for few days while exploring Amman. The shower was powerful. They gave us free breakfast which was very nice of them :)

The location it's really good, close to the center with a lot of shops and restaurants. The room was quite big and comfortable. The staff were really kind with us.

Some kind of mat on the floor to get out of the shower would be nice. The entrance to the hotel does not invite to enter, but then the facilities inside are fine.

Extra good location just in old center of vast Amman. Few minutes pedestrian to citadel or Roman theater. Many shops, restaurants, exchanges near. By taxi 2-3 JOD to Abdali bus terminal to Jarash/airport, 1-2 JOD to Jett bus office to Aqaba. Good service including night checkin and English speaking staff. One level beds in share room. Good washroom/toilet with hot water and shampoo. Tea, sugar, pita.

The location is very good, you can walk in five minutes to the main city center. The beds were very good and let us rest after a long day. The room where very clean and the staff so friendly. If i come back to Amman i will stay in Jordan River again.

Arriving here from the airport was really easy! The room was spacious and the bathroom clean, they also provided us with towels. The staff was very friendly and helpful!

It was fairly cold in the room, however the blankets were keeping us warm enough. We also had a room on the side of the street and the traffic got quite loud in the morning.

This hostel is so nice interior. I can use kitchen and refrigerator. There are water dispensers each floor.

After I changed the bed, I smelled so bad. I think somebody used bed before and didn’t change bed sheets.

Lady from the hotel was very kind and nice, and the room was spacious and clean. Even though the entire hotel was far from being luxurious, the bathroom was in perfect condition and the beds were very comfy. The location is excellent, just a couple of minutes away from the main street and major tourist attractions.

Hotels buildings hall could be a better lid, and a little bit cleaner. But honestly, we didn’t mind that at all.
