We only stayed one night but we felt the warmth of the people working here. The hotel is close to Petra visito center, 4 minutes by car, 15 walking. There are a lot of restaurants around. The room we had was nice and clean. AC working, hot water working as well. Breakfast was very good, lots of choices. Staff is very helpful, good advices of how to make the most of Petra.

I recently stayed at the Petra Plaza Hotel during my trip to Petra, and I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The hotel is located just a short distance from the entrance to Petra, which made it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were always available to answer any questions I had, and provided helpful tips and recommendations for exploring Petra and the surrounding area. The rooms at the Petra Plaza Hotel are clean, spacious, and comfortable, with all the amenities you could need for a relaxing stay. The beds are comfortable, and the linens and towels are of high quality. The hotel also provides complimentary toiletries and bottled water, which was a nice touch. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet, which offered a wide variety of hot and cold options to suit all tastes. Overall, I would highly recommend the Petra Plaza Hotel to anyone visiting Petra. The location, staff, and amenities are all top-notch, and the hotel offers excellent value for money.

Prior to getting there, I really appreciated that they answered all my email/questions, which does not seem to be the norm there. Arriving and our stay - I cannot say enough great things. I was originally going to stay on the other side of town and am so glad we didn't! The 5 of us had 2 rooms - I've attached the amazing view from my room. They took such great care of us: Really looking out for us (concerned when we stayed out all day), super clean, giving great tips and suggestions (which we never look for, but really appreciated), all the snacks provided freely in our room, calling taxis, so nice, etc. Can't thank you enough! You must try the bakery on the corner (ask them where)! Absolutely the best stay of our entire 2 week vacation to Israel, Jordan, and Egypt!! I don't think I've ever left a booking.com review before - but they deserve it! THANK YOU!

This is a small local family run hotel and the hosts were wonderful. We arrived late but were greeted nonetheless with smiles and left early and were greeted with early breakfast. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, plenty of plush towels available and quiet all night. Wifi was great. And how thoughtful, chocolates, fruit and drinks (free) left for us in our room. Would definitely recommend staying here. Location is right in town and short walk to a supermarket and plenty of local restaurants. Short 3 minute drive to Petra.

Spotless hotel with incredibly friendly staff. Well located within walking distance of restaurants and the Petra Visitor Centre. They also helped us a lot when I got food poisoning as we had to stay in our room for an extra night.

No real downsides but the bed was a little stiff/caused a sore back!

I planned to stay in night at Petra Plaza one night, but became ill during the night and had to extend my stay by an extra day (so, 2 nights here). When I didn't come down for breakfast, the staff called my room to check on me and I explained (due to overnight illness, I wouldn't be down for breakfast and I wouldn't be going to Petra that day and I will be sleeping for the next few hours) and requested to extend my stay an extra day. I was accommodated. The kindness displayed by the staff during the call and in late afternoon when I finally emerged from my room was overwhelming! I felt genuinely cared for by the inquires of "what happened" and "how was I feeling now" and continued inquiries about my health. The overall hospitality was overwhelmingly positive! And the breakfast, that I was able to eat the 2nd morning, was excellent! I HIGHLY recommend Petra Plaza! Oh! And, the VIEW is amazing! No other hotel has THIS AMAZING view!

The hotel staff goes beyond their way to help you in any way you need. The breakfast was great too, and it was close enough to Petra to go by car. There are shops close if you want to buy something to eat or drink. It also has parking place! The hotel has been renovated, and it's even better than what the Booking photos show (as of April 2024)

They sold us a "lunch box" for our day at Petra, which was more expensive than what we could buy directly at Petra (which has expensive prices) and it wasn't that good. I thought it was going to be closer to the entrance to Petra, but if you have a car it's not a problem.

For the price the hotel was a very pleasant surprise. I choosed it because of the high rates. The staff were very kind. The greetings was exceptional. We got tea and a lot of information. The room was clean and comfortable. There were soft drinks, choclates, tea and coffee in the room for free and we got a fruite plate also. It is more than service we awaited for. The breakfast was very good. Nearby the hotel there are everything for you need, restaurants, shops just for some minutes walk.

Beautiful hotel just 15 mins walk to Petra Visitors center. The staff were amazing, so polite and welcoming and there to answer any questions I had. I enjoyed the free breakfast. The room also had a small fridge and a kettle. There were drinks in the fridge, coffee and tea supplies as well as some snacks that were all complementary with the room, which I very much appreciated. I think this hotel is very good value for the quality, hospitality and location. I wanted something close to the visitors center ad well as the JETT bus station. If you’re too tired to walk back a taxi is only 3JD.

Everything was perfect, the welcome and hospitality of the manager Sami, the room and all facilities were constantly spotless, very clean hotel, you find everything you need in your room and bathroom, free mini bar and snacks, speed wifi, delicious breakfast, comfortable bed and pillows, 2 outdoor spaces to enjoy your coffee, the hotel is well decorated, absolutely beautiful, every detail is well thought of. We send special thanks to Sami for always being there helping us, giving us the best advise on what to do and where to go in Wadi Mousa, the owners did a great job. We will definitely come back and recommend everything to stay at Petra Plaza Hotel.
