Staff have decent English which makes things easy. They're willing to store luggage after checkout for few hours to enjoy city when flying late. Can't be beat for value, was nice & clean, aircon & heating in rooms, good strong water pressure in shower. Safe in room if needed. Breakfast is decent. Very centrally located for metro & attractions. Free bottle of water in room. Free WiFi. All you need in a safe place to rest your head on travels while enjoying the city.

Not the most soundproof of rooms but in general wasn't too noisy late at night. Not the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on but not the worst either.. firm enough & bedding had quality feel & very clean. No TV but I don't travel to watch TV so fine. Not a room to languish in but does what it says on the packet.

Hotel with friendly staff at the reception. The breakfast buffet was sufficient. The selection was absolutely fine. The location of the hotel is great. It is located a short walk from the metro station (which is used by a minimum of people). The large department store (Forum) is a few minutes walk away. Yandex will take care of the rest.

The bedsheets were clean & comfortable. The comforter is fantastic, thin but kept me warm! Though there's a water cooler along the corridor, the staff provided me with a kettle & a bottle of water when requested. The bathroom was clean & the water pressure for the shower is good. Good variety of food for breakfast with lots of fruit choices. The location is convenient & there's a mini park nearby which is good for walking for abit of exercise & relaxation. There's also a pharmacy & hospital close by, some small stores across the road & 9 mins walking distance to the Central Stadium. Walk a little further & you'll come across the Amusement Park & Circus with horses tethered nearby for riding (booking has to be made in advance).

The furnishings were quite old including the carpet which I kept tripping over because it had bumps & wasn't flat. I smelled smoke even though it was a non- smoking hotel, so it was difficult to breathe & I couldn't sleep properly.

The staff were so polite, kind and helpful. The hotel was safe. They could solve any problem I was informed them at the right time. It was cold but the room was warm. They were very helpful and cooperative during my stay…

I could ignore the lack of facilities as long as they were very friendly and helpful. This hotel needs a continual repair and maintenance program to stand nicely.

The room was very comfy and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The spa area was also awesome (sauna, cold water pool, chairs, shower) and - except for the shower - very clean.

The spa shower had a bit of mold and its shower curtain was a bit short.The rest of the spa area was quite clean.

This extravagant abode is located close to the most vital spots of Almaty, right between Abay Avenue and Satpaev Street. The pristine room and the bathroom are in an intimate setting at the rear of the building. The balcony also provided a nice view. The complimentary toiletries, slippers, a kettle, tea bags, and a water bottle were a nice touch. The staff members, from the receptionists, housekeepers, cooks and waiters, spa employees, and security guards, were all very helpful, obliging, and friendly. A top-notch hotel!

Staff were very helpful and can speak/understand English. Location was perfect. WiFi was good. Daily breakfast (although lacks variety).

There were no bath towels, but only 1 hand towel when we checked in. We had to request the reception to provide 2 bath towels.

It was a comfy room and the balcony was a nice touch. Everything generally worked okay. Breakfast was nice especially the rice. Staff opened a bottle of wine for us without a corkscrew which was very helpful!

They got our booking mixed up and we had to move rooms after the first night after being put in a twin room. This was quite annoying and we weren't offered compensation for it. WiFi was pretty weak in the rooms.

we had a late check-in and manager advised us to have a breakfast first and then sign all papers. after checking-out and leaving hotel we realized that we forgot personal belongings in the room - so we called to reception and asked them to check if our stuff was there - they found it and still keep until our friend picks it up

The staff were very helpful and accommodating, I was always comfortable, and I liked the daily breakfasts. Overall I found this to be a very nice place.

I liked the hotel enough to stay there twice, and was overall very satisfied, but in both my rooms, it seemed like the carpets hadn't been vacuumed in a long while. Might want to do that more often.
