We only stayed here for one night. The hotel has a very grand entrance but our room was a little dated. However, the staff were very polite, spoke good English, and were very helpful, printing off some documents for us. Breakfast was very good. There was an excellent selection and plenty space in the dining room. Overall, not expensive, good location and decent hotel for a short stay.

Rooms could do with some modernisation. Also, our room looked like it had been set up for one person. Only one robe and pair of slippers. Only one large towel. Only one mug for coffee. Bit strange but we mentioned it to reception staff and it was rectified straight away.

Fast Wi-Fi with speeds up to 40 Mbps, good view from the rooms, located close to ATMs and eateries, cordial staff some of whom speak English, delicious breakfast with good spread and healthy options. The rooms were clean and quite spacious. Bonus points for the provision of a bathtub. Wheelchair accessible property.

The bathtub wasn’t well cleaned when I checked in, at one point the tap water was turbid for a few minutes, there was no master switch for the lights near the bed.

Not very close to city center but everything is around like (supermarket, banks and so ) if you need anything. Inside restaurant serves perfect options for breakfast and dinner, rooms are well equipped for comfortable stay. And staff are helpful.

There is no ashtray at smoking room, at the bathroom there is need for mop after shower and it is hard to arrange perfect temperature, water is running hot.

Towering hotel, you can observe almost the whole city from the windows. The room is very large, the bathroom is just huge. The bed and other furniture are quite old, but still OK.

The location of the hotel is inconvenient, far from everything that is interesting to see in Astana. I do not understand why the guidebooks say that the hotel is located in the centre. Maybe it was old centre of the city, but now the real centre of the city is very far away. Walking is very long, you need to take a taxicab.

The breakfast was great! Also, despite of the fact that my flight was at earlier morning time we got our breakfast at room and it was great!!! Room was excellent!! All staff was friendly, positive, and polite!!! I would love to recommend my friends and co-workers to stay at King Hotel Astana while visiting this beautiful city in Kazakhstan!!!

Old hotel so some problems with hot water so had to liaise with reception a couple times to get the maintenance man to come and adjust the valves

Good, clean room and nice breakfast. It was very nice to get en early breakfast as a room service the day we were leaving so early to the airport that we couldn’t get normal breakfast.

- The hotel doesn’t accept UnionPay cards - very inconvenient - There was always water on the floor near the bath after showering. I told the staff, but nothing was changed

I liked the spacious room.

My room's internal phone was not working and I had to go down from 21st floor (Room 2105) to Reception at the lobby to call for room service food order.

Centally located, clean room & decent breakfast, friendly staff, good value for money

Hot/cold setting of shower were hard to manage
