In the heart of Sigulda, on a silent street, close to Sigulda castle ruins, which is venue for many concerts during summertime. Very clean, modern hotel, great value for money, nice breakfast, parking available on premises.

At first it was very hot in the room (seemed like it was not ventilated for some time and there is no air conditioner). Would be nice to have recycle bin in the bathroom/toilet as well. Television had only German and Russian TV channels. Wifi was very slow on the second floor of the Resto building.

Great place to stay at in Sigulda. The room was spacious and everything seemed pretty new. The kitchen was well equipped. I stayed with three little children and we loved it. Most restaurants and a large park were all at a walking distance. We spent two days there, visiting the beautiful Gauja National Park (30min-1hour by car). Complimentary bottled water was really nice and appreciated.

Great location for visiting Gauja national park! The staff is really friendly and the place is quiet and peaceful, we did not hear any noise, had a good sleep! Good size rooms, bathroom is nice and clean. We really enjoyed that you can go to the reception any time ant make yourself some tea or coffee free of charge or get a cold beverage and pay later at checkout, really nice after a long day!

Breakfast could have more variety

Hello, we are traveling from the United States, and the hotel staff was extremely friendly. I was allowed to adjust my arrival day, as my travel route slightly changed. breakfast was delicious. my two children are picky eaters and the woman who prepared breakfast (I believe the owner) was so patient and kind with their choices. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel.

it was modern, clean, comfortable. the staff was amazing.. met us around 1 in the morning for check-in, explained everything and more, answered all the questions including sightseeing options and more. parking was in front of the house and free. breakfast was modest, but everything was there. it’s very close to Tarzan park, we got to leave our car in parking lot after check-out, which was super-cool.

staff in the breakfast area felt unfriendly, maybe it was because she didn’t speak english?

The receptionist lady was amazing. Even tho we paid for the breakfast and had to leave earlier before it was served, she prepared for us a bag with nutrient rich breakfast for our long drive ahead. The room was clean and with good sound insulation. The bed was very comfy.

TV channels were mostly in German. We couldn't find channels in English or Latvian.

There were many things I liked about my stay at Villa Vanilla: - The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Our host welcomed us upon arriving and immediately showed us various points of interest in the area. She even gave us a tip for where to see a lovely sunset that evening. - Every morning, breakfast was served in the restaurant and came out fresh. I also liked that we were not limited to just one plate of food. The staff made sure we were satisfied and adequately fed - The rooms were cleaned every day, and the facilities are kept in great condition.

There wasn't anything I didn't like about my stay at Villa Vanilla. They met all of our needs.

Attentive and helpful hostess, comfortable family accommodations, and a new restaurant (2020) onsite! From arrival, the staff spent time to insure we had what we needed and answered any questions and were responsive during our 4 day stay via text. Centrally located with easy walk to hiking or attractions, we used it as a hub to enjoy Sigulda's outdoor offerings. Food is FANTASTIC and the menu offers flexibility for any special needs/requests. Really appreciated how Villa Villa does the little things well such as coffee/tea available anytime, beer/wine onsite (and reasonably priced), secure area, well kept and clean, food offered in restaurant or delivered to room, and bungalows that are furnished with a minfridge and some kitchen items. This property does everything right - recommended to any visitor!

They offer breakfasts for reasonable price.(tasty) Tv had netflix. Free car park close to room

Bathroom not active ventilation. Stairs not silent and neighbors next wall can be heard. Price could always be lover. Staff was not keen to accept me and release. Felt as not priority!

Location is good, in the center of city but still quiet. Free parking. Room looked as new, almost all the basic things were there, small terrace with seating area.

Limited kitchen accessories: no cutting board and no wine glasses even though wine bottle opener were there...
