This is a new hotel in Riga, and I was very impressed with the convenience and little details they had to make us feel comfortable, easy check in, bar and restaurant, fitness rooms on each floor, and very soundproof rooms! The bed was comfortable, there was a desk area, upholstered bench across the window area, heat rack in the bathroom, and really hot water for showers!

I had no idea the sliding door to the bathroom also opened up a closet space until the end of my stay! I was traveling alone, so it never occurred to me to slide the bathroom door closed, but by chance I was worried about setting off the smoke alarm with my hair iron, and happened to close the door to the bathroom when I finished straightening my hair to make sure nothing triggered the alarm and voila! A closet revealed itself!! Complete with slippers! I missed this and would have loved to take advantage of the slippers and hangers! Very minor, I know. But you asked, so I answered.

It was very well located, clean and modern. We loved that small, cozy and delicious breakfast. Choices were more than enough.

Upon check in, the receptionist (woman) wasn’t very welcoming. She wrote wrong room number on the card, which is fine, I understand, but when I went back, she didn’t apologize, just a little laugh from her and “that’s because I wrote the wrong room number”. But other than that, everything was perfect.

The property is pretty close to various attractions and can be reached easily by public transport. They also have paid Peking just right beside the hotel. The room itself is pretty classic with necessary amenities.

I didn’t like the fact that the bathroom was not cleaned properly. There were stains in the commode which grossed me out.

Amazing find in Riga. Very good location, properly organized parking. Superfriendly staff and one of the best hotel restaurant dinners I have ever had. Not to mention the coctails! Enjoy your breakfast on the roof terrace. A nice suprise is that additionally to the very good buffet breakfast they also have a menu! Highly recommended!

Close to Old town , very clean, modern design. Great value for money.

Paid extra for a room with a view , sadly there was no view. When spoke to the reception was advised that it mean that the window comes out on to the street and not at the back. Felt that this should not be sold as an additional charge.

Nothing I wanted to be in the Old Town as I had a sore leg, so I only stayed one night - Saturday night

I would like to recommend Hotel Aston. The room was excellent. Delicious breakfast. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is so close to the old town. Around the corner there is a big shopping mall with nice restaurants on the roof.

We didn’t eat at the hotel. Location was great. Good lighting, warm bathroom floor! Shower was very good.

Shower floor can be slippery. Would be nice to have mat or something on shower floor

Excellent location, exquisite room, high cost performance.

The corridor and the room have an unmistakable smell which I guess was left over from the decoration. I would personally not recommend people who are sensitive to bad smell to choose it recently.

Room was with a nice design and comfortable and also personal was very friendly. Price and quality fit quite well for that hotel. Didn't eat this time, so can't tell anything for breakfast this time.

Would have expected more spaces for putting glothes away.
