Anchovy in nasi goreng raia taste bad, so so taste, only for hungry stomach, not worth for try out..all 4 pillows are firm, should be 2 firm n 2 soft, even it is announced that you can ask the receptionist for softer pillows, the breakfast start at 7am, should be as early as 630am..

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. We ordered mee goreng mamak, nasi goreng, and nasi putih sambal udang from the room service. The presentation and taste of the food were surprisingly delicious. And it was cheap too, only RM18 if I'm not mistaken. Compared to other hotel room service, the price for a simple nasi goreng can exceed RM40. They have a kids room for your children to play in.

While the room service food was exceptional, the breakfast at the kafe was meh.

It has a big hall so it can support big events with ample parking space available; outdoor area is spacious making your view of the surrounding area looks widen and great.

Nothing about the physical state and facilities that I didn't like , except for the write up of the FAQs of the hotel about parking not available - this must be taken out because it is not true.

The location is so strategic since it is nearby the airport and the distance to the main town isn't that far. The staff are so friendly and nice, always smiling 😁 also I love the fact that they provide the guests with a praying mat - something that I never experienced in any other hotel. One last thing would be their char kway teow! I ordered room service twice during my stay because of that.

The room door was a bit stuck so it was a hassle for me to open/close it. And perhaps the hotel management can check their bathroom lighting because to me I find to be a bit dim.

i like the bed so much. its feel like home. the comforter smell good, feel confident that its clean. the pillow is soooo comfortable. bfast is okay, many choise of malaysian and western. tq Raia Hotel. definitely will be my 1st choice whenever in Alor Star again.

the carpet still got dust. maybe need to vacuum properly. thats all.

Room - very spacious and comfy, daily housekeeping. Got tea, coffee and mineral water. Hairdryer, iron and iron board Location - nearby airport. location about 10km to Alor Setar town. not too far. Environment very cozy. Not a busy area. Suitable for those who are looking for a relaxing place. Breakfast - RM28++ but I didn't take the breakfast here. Breakfast outside hotel because got so many eatery places to go. Parking - a lot parking spaces Got gym and swimming pool 24 hours laundry service just 750m from hotel Got a welcome drink and green apple

Room not too soundproof because I can hear someone is talking from outside of the room. But this is acceptable

This is my second time staying here. Love the room, the facilities, the room service was also good. Breakfast spread is reasonable, from nasi lemak to porridge, salad, egg station. Checking in and checking out was a breeze. Will surely go there again!

Aircond remote at the bedside is not working properly. I cannot change the temperature. Please get it fixed.

Love it. The free welcome drinks is nice touch. Keep it going. Oh, ah there is free cookies as well. There was like 3 plc to eat just across the street if u dont feel like eating hotel food. Hotel offer rm88 for 4 pax for dinner which is affordable. Like the initiative

Housekeeping needs to improve existing arrangement and coordination with the hotel's vendor providing the laundry services as towels for rooms was not provided upon check in on 25 Dec 2022 and only available at the swimming pool after 11am on 26 Dec 2022.
