The room was clean and big with 2 queen size beds and a separate sitting room. There was enough space for 3 big suitcases and room to walk around. Coffee from the coffer maker was strong. Shelves were thoughtfully provided to store our food items. The separate sitting room with a connecting door was a good idea. Early risers can have their breakfast there without disturbing those who were still sleeping. The toilet was also big and well equipped. Water pressure was strong. The hotel is located in a quiet area. View from the room was great. We can see the greenery and distant mountains. The spa in the hotel provides good and value for money services.

There was no dustbin in the sitting room, have to walk to the toilet to dispose rubbish. Since the hotel is located a distance from the city centre, a small convenience store would be ideal. As it is, there is already a cafe, gym, spa and luxury watch and jewellery shop in the premises.

Tastefully decorated, and the aircon was powerful for the hot weather. The bed was comfortable and clean enough, although there were past stains that were not removed properly. But that seems to be common practice in Malaysian hotels so it's not something to hold against the hotel

Some areas are not clean, and there are areas that look neglected during cleaning. While it is still clean overall, the poor maintenance standards mean that the condition of the property is likely to worsen over time. Signs of damage from past occupants evident

Pros: 1) Room is superb. Design is modern with open concept. We got the family room and it comes with a sink at the pantry section. This is rather uncommon, but indeed practical. With a family of four, we could definitely use an extra sink. 2) We asked for two extra blankets. The blankets were of a good quality compared to hotels that we had been to. New, thick and fluffy. Appreciate the little details.

Cons: 1) Not a pleasant experience with the parking though. No lift access to the parking. Might experience full parking with should there be any events and the parking is shared with the tenants as well.

The location is strategic and convenient for the town center. The facilities are just great. The room is clean, and the centralized air conditioning works well. The ironing board is just meeting my needs. The water pressure in the bathroom is superb.

The toilet door was defective as it couldn't close properly. The toiletries were not provided until I called up the room service. I prefer a better lighting layout, especially in the middle of the room. Otherwise, it looks quite dark and dim. No bottled waters are provided for the guests. The sofa bed was not that clean when the cushions were lifted.

Modern and contemporary style hotel. U feel comfortable and at the same time hotel provides all the essentials that U need. Staffs very friendly and welcoming I love the coffee machine in the room! Almost like nespresso machine :) Rooms - spacious family room which I have space to pray. The toiletries provided are good (very sturdy toothbrush, comb, razor, sewing kit and cotton) . Body wash and shampoo also are good quality and not causing dryness. Bathroom are clean. Free parking and lots of parking Have very aesthetic looking cafe near lobby

Staircase is only way to access the carpark. No elevator. Gym quite basic - 1 treadmill only and few others basic machines and weight lifting machines (But got outside gym available next door but need to pay ) Tv limited channels (english movies only 1 channel and sports only 1 channel)

The hotel is newly refurbished and the rooms were super clean and comfy. I loved how clean the floors were in my room! I especially loved the transparent lifts which made the journey to and fro your room very special. The hotel also provides water dispensers if you need to refill your water bottle and their gym has functional machines. There is also a new cafe at the hotel which makes it easy for you to grab your morning coffee, and a third party gym attached to the hotel which makes the building quite lively.

Breakfast could have been better, and perhaps a better way to store and display their milk and cereals. In addition, perhaps the hotel can bring in some shampoo with conditioner if possible!

Friendly staff, accommodative towards early check-in (1pm) and late check out (1pm) requests. Room is spacious. There is even a ironing board in the deluxe room. Love the cafe in the lobby too! Location is fairly convenient to most attractions (<RM10 / <10mins Grab ride).

Hotel has been around for a couple years by now. Signs of wear and tear are visible. When I first walked into the room, there were stray hairs left behind from the former guest. Pool was indeed tiny and hard to get to without strutting across the main lobby and entrance. I didn’t use it in the end.

I booked 4 rooms. 1) Deluxe Queen Room 2) Deluxe Twin Room 3) Friends & Family Suites Quadruple I requested for all to be at the same level. They staff gave us level 10. The rooms are clean and big. I was very happy that I called for room service and requested them to cut the packet of Jambu and Guava for us. They cut the fruits for us and put in the plastic containers and provided us with plates, plastic knife, forks, and spoons. We had the group gathering for 8 of us in the Suites room. A great stay at Travelodge Ipoh and will recommend my family and friends to book this hotel.

clean, new (revamped from an old hotel) with excellent TV (at least with a few variety of channels and clear digital signal). there’s also an awesome cafe near the lobby that serves nice coffee and desserts

the underground parking has no lift to go up so it’s recommended you drop your luggage and other guests in lobby then you go park. it’s tough if you’re travelling alone because you will have to lug your luggage up the stairs

The swimming pool waters were not clean, it is at the west corner of the building, right beside the road, the plants were not big enough to provide privacy for users. The area where we wet ourselves before heading into the pool was choked and the water was ponding in it. When I return after a day or touring and wanted a dip in the pool, it’s hot because it is facing West, the tiles were uncomfortably hot to step on.
