This was my 2nd time staying at Minimalist Hotel. The Front Office staff were outstanding, very helpful & so polite. Even it wasn't their problem, they did their best to assist us and accommodate our request. When we were seated near the lift lobby, they came out to turn on the fan for us. We were so tired that we didn't even realise that it wasn't even on. Great job to the Front Office Team! I would definitely return and I have already recommended this hotel to my friends.

The aircon remote wasn't working properly. The TV remotes for all our 3 rooms were not working at all. Eventually we all didn't watch any TV and just had our rest.

Nowadays for smokers room is hard to find but for this price range it has divided smoking rooms which is very good for people like us. I know most places wants non smoking rooms but what about those who were smokers...although the parking is public place outside of the hotel, I had no problem to find 1.. Other hotels I came by had to park far.. At nite, it is a quite area also to mention the room itself is quite.. Can't hear noise from next door which is a 👍.. Most hotels at this price range are unable to do 😀

Room shower soap would be better if it had extra bottle. Not enough if it were to use by 2 people. I know it's a phone call away to housekeeping or counter but isn't it better to arrive with everything just nice for the customers.

Toilet door knob broken and were left unrepaired. But since it is small matter, it did not bother us much.

I love the hotel concept , minimalist with everything white it makes me calm when entering the hotel and room.. the carpark is easy to access just in front of the hotel.. water filter, iron board have been provided at lobby hotel , water heater functioning well and the toiletries was complete from toothbrush set , shampoo and body soap.. the room is just nice for me and my husband for a short stay

The soundproof of the room is really need to improve as when I stay I really can hear person beside our room talking as my room is a twin room connecting with door in the middle.. even the door is securely lock and closed, i still can hear they are talking, there is some stain on the blanket

Just suitable for my family's needs. We were enroute to Mersing so its just a stopover for the night. We checked in near midnight and the reception remained open, as promised. So thank you! And the staff were friendly. Rooms were simple and adequate for our needs. Most importantly, the beds and floors were clean. Toilets were functioning well. A little tucked away from the main road, so its quiet around. However, there were coffee shops around that opened as early as 7am. So getting breakfast was easy before we need to move on.

Really nothing. We just need a decent, clean, quiet and convenient place to rest for the night before getting on the road, and we got what we need for a reasonable price! No need for any other hotel facilities. Moreover, the staff is friendly and helpful. It's a good place to stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were many good food options right across the street. The room was pretty well maintained. Plenty of street parking available there. The street was quiet at night. Really worth the price!

Some corners of the room was slightly worn out. But acceptable to me for the price I’ve paid.

Staff gave us wrongly the aircon remote and we slept 2 days straight sweating cuz we though is the aircon spoil and the staff was not friendly at all towards us. The most hated thing is need to deposit total 70rm, 50rm for stay, 20rm for extra room card?!?!? Like Wtf? They only provide 1 room card then how we leave the room to collect food? When we need to slot it in the room thingy….

very the minimalist, book this hotel for birthday surprise for my husband unfortunately they didn’t allowed this kind of event, in addition i need to pay an extra RM100 for deposit instead of RM50, luckily i can refund my full deposit if i leave the room without any remains from the birthday surprise.

I like the fact that this hotel is tucked away but still accessible from the main road. It's good for a stopover rest enroute to locations out of Johor Bahru (north-eastward). There are coffee shops within walking distance, with stalls selling local foods too. So getting meals is not problematic at all too.

Nothing much! I just want a clean and comfortable bed for the night, with a functional show room and toilet. This little hotel delivered. And the staff is friendly.

The location is strategic and there is plenty of parking space. I would love to praise the staff for his amazing assistance. I got a room that doesn't have any electric supplies, and he asked me to stay at another room. Appreciate it. Thanks

There is no mart nearby, but a Bangladesh shop. The pillow is not comfy at all and there is no bathroom floor mat. That's it
