We liked the small and welcoming vibe of this hotel. It was located perfectly for walking to many restaurants and shopping and taxis. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The small restaurant offered delicious breakfasts and lunch and dinners on Friday and Saturday, if staying in was your choice. We needed to extend our stay by 5 days and they accommodated us and in the same room! That was a total plus!

The small restaurant did not have coffee available until after 8 am. Most folks want it well before that. Most mornings we did walk 2 blocks to get a great cup of coffee to go. We asked two times for a coffee maker for our room. They were available, but very limited and we didn’t get one.

Breakfast was okay, nothing special for the price. Bar drinks were just okay as well. Meals the chef made for us were fabulous (Octopus and our Mahi Mahi). View from grounds to ocean were fabulous. A/C worked well.

Coffee machine in room as coffee places don't open early. Loungers have been fixed into one position so not able to lounge on stomach. Balconies not really usable for view as railing is stucco and chairs not high enough. Shower head needs replacing and bathroom ceiling had mildew starting...needs a good cleaning or repainting.

The staff are all amazing!! Lovely grounds, the view and proximity to the beach & great restaurants (Including the on-site restaurant) are all wonderful. The property recently changed ownership and the current owner has his team working hard to update and refresh everything. Currently the buildings are being repainted and things that weren’t previously maintained are being repaired or upgraded . I can’t wait for my next visit to see the results!

Location was great, off Adelitas Street. It had two pools. Our room was comfortable & spacious. One pool area overlooks Madera beach. Near lots of good restaurants.

I found the beds to be uncomfortable. The wifi was hit or miss. The towels were very rough.

It’s a bit run down. They were trying to keep the pools clean, but filling them seemed an issue. The staff and location to the beach make this place. The chairs on the balcony are very uncomfortable.

It was comfortable and close to the beach. I picked the Miramar because it did not have as many steps as the others nearby. My wife can’t do steps. We found out that we can go out the front and walk down the ramp to the beach. That worked the best for us. It had a beautiful beachfront walkway and it was near some nice restaurants. We had a nice stay.

Only two channels on the television. One counter beside the bed had tiny ants all over the place.

The boys really loved it. I enjoyed it because as they went from pool to pool to beach it felt very safe.

They are working on improvements I look forward to bringing my other boys.

The location was great and the food was also great.

The actual facilities need to be updated and repaired.
