The location was beautiful, the staff was absolutely fantastic (from Deri/Yuridia helping me with a cancellation before I got here, and arranging airport pickups for two people, to Laura when my partner was ill and needed medic action, to the manager Teresa checking in with us, to reception team for getting us cabs and opening up the gift shop, to the lady making those beautiful flower arrangements on the beds and in the vases in the atrium, to the staff at the restaurant (where the food was amazing) to the gym to the grounds to the service in the Spa: all of it was wonderful, and I will recommend to all my friends/associates.

Breakfast was a highlight each day. Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Staff remembered our name and were caring and kind - very high end 5-star service, esp from front desk and housekeeping. Adorable animal designs on bed each night, made with flowers and leaves. And the ultimate was the salt water pool way down by the rocks. I ordered margaritas there each day, read my book, relaxed, swam, and it all felt deeply restorative. Locational absolutely cannot be beat. Direct beach access to La Ropa but only 5 min walk to Madeira. You have all the options of meals on the La Ropa side and in El Centro all with a nice walk - or a $5 taxi for when you want to give your legs a rest. Sunset drinks at roof bar with acoustic Mexican music 2x per week. And an awesome gym with inspiring views - this exceeded my expectations. Oh -

The location and design gives the hotel exceptional views of the ocean and the beach. The sound of the waves is the most relaxing part. Rooms are very confortable and hace small details that make the difference. Service is great always, they will go out of their way to give you whatever you need, wherever you need it.

The only thing we did not like was the dinner at the restaurant. Lunch and breakfast were really good and priced fairly, but dinners are very expensive, given the quality of the food. With only a few options to choose from, food was bland and very simple, and portions were small (service was still very good though).

The suites are beautiful, with a great view of the bay - including from the toilet and shower. We had a private swimming pool, allowing us to basically holiday in our suite. The staff was extremely helpful, especially Laura who addressed our every concern.

The room hadn't been cleaned properly when we arrived, with items from the previous occupants in one of the cupboards. This was quickly addressed. The food at the restaurant was disappointing compared to the other great restaurants in the area.

This really is the nicest place to stay in Zihua and we have stayed many places over our twenty years of visiting here. It is not too large. The two pool areas have beautiful views of the bay and the water as do all the rooms. It is quiet and blissful. The staff is amazing and make every effort to take great care of you.

Truthfully nothing except a noisy ceiling fan I never got around to complaining about until we left.

For a high end luxury hotel, that they made the decision that people don't need televisions absolutely astounded me! They had a tv room....but who wants to sit in a room with others when privacy is their entire theme! Ate dinner there 3 times....all the fish was WAY overcooked....and the shrimp appetizer inedible. Restaurant could use a serious upgrade in quality.

Everything. We come back every year. Love the people who work there, the two pools(one infinity) the other a natural salt water one. Rooms are gorgeous. Try to get one which has its own private pool.

This is one of the most amazing resorts I have stayed in ! On a scale of 1-10 this is a 15. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and impeccably clean. The staff was attentive to your every need and were so nice. The food was amazing and the beach is spectacular! I will definitely be back !

Beautiful hotel. Unique. Superb effective staff. Excellent food. We lived all the small details including refilling our ice twice daily, minibar, and leaf/flower designs on the bed nightly. One of the finest hotels in the world.

I liked evryhting about it, nothing was wrong. Just make sure that if you want to go from there to the Pueblo get good walking shoes because it's very hilly
