I liked that the property had plenty of space to relax and socialise when you wanted. it’s colourful and vibrant and is a stone throw away from the beach.

maybe it’s normal protocol, however, I wasn’t keen on walking past people asleep in the tv room or the corridor on make shift beds for them. I don’t know why that was happening.

The hostel was good. The location is convenient to the beach/malecon and many restaurants/shops. Easy to take the bus to and from the airport and around the city. My room was large and comfortable. WIFI was great for working. Pretty quiet at night (not a party hostel). AC and fan in the room. Staff were very nice. Great coffee!

Room did not have a window (which I knew prior to booking) - no air flow and it dingy lighting. No hot water (the hot water tap was just for show). The whole place could use a good update - repair the holes in the ceiling- paint etc... Online it said all linens provided - had to pay to "rent" a towel - which was fine but they should update their info online.

The staff were excellent. Knowledgeable about the area and very friendly. Put on fun events for everyone in the hostel. The rooftop chill area was great. AC for sleeping is a blessing. Beds were great for a hostel

Sleeping was a nightmare due to the sound of the traffic racing down the street and music blaring. Didn’t matter if it was 10pm, 12am, 3am, 6am. This is clearly out of the hostels control. If you are coming here, bring good headphones. (I played a 10hr ocelating fan on Spotify and the sounds of everything pretty much blended in. Made sleeping way easier)

Breakfast of nice pancakes and later paid omelette and fruit. Laundry cleaned and folded (the second time). Helped with luggage upon arrival. Bottom large bunk was ok. The workaways tried their best, but could have used a bit more training. Their English fluency was terrific. Other people were mostly very nice and helpful.

Lots of smokers on top terrace at table where people were trying to eat. Lots of ups and downs in the building. 2 day wait for laundry one time. Second time it was all day. Internet varied depending on your room. Downstairs room had no ventilation, but had nightly ac. Bug bites. Decent pillows for wire furnishings.

The bed was conformable and I was lucky to have a private bathroom in the room. The hostel has activities everyday organized by volunteers which is great if you are travelling alone and want to meet people and have company to explore Puerto Vallarta. The location is great, really close to downtown and next to bus stops.

The room was a bit loud (from the street noise) and bright. The breakfast is included but its always pancakes, which can get tiring if you stay for a long time.

I enjoyed the roof top the most and the consistency that the staff cleaned on daily basis. ex. power washing bathrooms, roof top. There were many spaces to hang out in. Compared to other hostels we stayed in Mexico, this was our favorite. It was a short walk to the ocean. I liked how they had cold drinks for purchase and beach towels to rent.

No paper towels or hand dryers to dry your hands after using the bathroom. The community fridge was not the cleanest which is everyone's responsibility. Guests need to do better. The lack of planned activities for hostel guests. The gym mirror facing our open bedroom window. I believe we were told the place had AC but this was not the case. Some staff members were not as friendly as others and just kept to themselves rather than making all people feel welcome.

Location, not 2 minutes to the beach and boardwalk (if you don’t get distracted on the way), outfitted kitchen, security, ocean view from rooftop. great people (can’t stress this enough), large scope of different peoples. A really laid back atmosphere. Rooms cleaned every day (aside from your bunk, thankfully). List goes on.

Can get really noisy in the early AM. Can’t complain too much about that considering it’s literally right in the city centre and it’s too hot to work in the PM. Also no shower curtain, so every time anyone would have a shower the floor would be very very wet.

Place is beautiful, colourful, have lovely patio where you can chill and enjoy sunset. A/C is available in the rooms but only from 6 or 7 PM until I think 10 AM in the morning. Friendly and helpful staff, majority of them volunteers yet still super nice. Location is great.

Bathroom weren't exactly clean in a way, one time I just saw women throw a bucket of chlorine water thrown into the washroom so not entirely sure how if that's the end of cleaning. Bathroom is literally next to the kitchen on the patio (at least that's the only one we've been shown) which is not great when someone is eating there or having a party or smth. Wifi was down several times during a week long stay.

well located, lot of places to chill with other people or by yourself. well equipped kitchen , Altho a toaster would be a good addition.

because it’s next to a busy road it’s super noisy, nothing can be done about that. a pair of earplugs should help out. working on little details like fixing creaking doors, so reducing that extra noise which might bother people would be good. the lady who seems to be in charge doesn’t seem to be the nicest.

Great location, steps away from Malecon, with convenient access to shops, restaurants, banks and beaches. Convenient access to/from PVR airport via various city buses marked "Centro or Malecon." (For a more restful sleep, be prepared with an airpod or a noise canceller to avoid being bothered by loud music or loud engine sounds from the many vehicles plying the roads late into the night or at 3-4am.)

Was there during hurricane Lidia with power out for about 24 hours. Hostel is an older building with no backup generator. Although the situation was understandable, it was very tough with the heat and humidity.
