Loved that the location was in walking distance of shopping dining and that it was right off the beach. Loved the size of the hotel, the quaintness, and that they had the entrance of the hotel secured (you had to show proof to enter the facility). Liked that breakfast came with the room, however, it was lacking... but, they let you upgrade and pay the difference. I appreciated that most of the staff spoke some English.

Would've liked coffee maker, coffee, and blow dryer provided in the room. Some of the staff was not friendly and courteous, although most were.

The beds were very comfortable. The included breakfast is simple, but nice to have it included. Having a fridge in the room was great. The location was great!

The pool was very crowded with kids, which is to be expected during holidays, just be prepared. The noise from the main street can be loud at night.

The moment we arrived we were treated like guests. We loved our room and the view. The balcony off our room allowed us a panoramic view of the malecon, ocean, pool and sunset. The staff very courteous, professional and helpful. The pool area was very welcoming. We enjoyed the simple breakfast and coffee . Happy hour was great, the margaritas were excellent. We love Rosita Hotel and will be back.

There is nothing that needs to be improved. Everything exceeded our expectations.

Location is in the center, so it's perfect and the beach is right there. They said there are nicer beaches further away but didn't end up checking them out. Zona Romantica (another popular area) is an easy walk (maybe 10 min, but a bunch of stores and restaurant along the entire way.

Couldn't connect to the wifi at the beginning (issue on their end) but they got it sorted out in an hour or two. Breakfast that is included in reservation is only for some fruits, toast, and juice/tea/coffee... not for the buffet they have. Was a bit misleading when it said "breakfast included", but I think this is on booking.com not on the hotel (they might have it somewhere, I just didn't read it thoroughly. Pool too crowded but it is expected and not much you can do about that.

Food quality has gone DOWN somewhat since our last stay at the Rosita. Coffee is TERRIBLE but the food at breakfast was fine. Some quality of food items were......DOWN. Your BLT sandwich was......an INSULT one time and barely edible. Please....don't skimp on quality items .....like food. All in all.....your restaurant/service was.....GOOD.

The staffing/serving at the dining was slow but.....understandable as....there are problems.....'WORLD wide with staffing these days!! Your....prices are disappointing and we were SHOCKED at the four hundred dollars.....INCREASE/U. S., that we were unaware of, when....we checked in. Many Seniors by the pool were wondering....whether they would be able to come back in the future, should....this keeps happening? NOT ALL SENIORS are.....RICH!!!!! Many of us are on budgets. Puerto Vallarta prices are getting.....'out of hand. In the future your lovely city will....see a HUGE decline in visitors and people will end up going ELSEWHERE.

The free fruit, juice and coffee were great. If you ordered off the menu the staff will discount using the free breakfast voucher to deduct what the menu cost is. The weekend buffet looked great but we did not order it this time.

We took a soda from our room and security said only restaurant drinks and food was allowed. But every Mexican family had mcdonalds drinks, their own coolers, food brought in from outside the restaurant and security closed a blind eye to Mexicans. Only us Canadians were told we could not take a soda from our room to the pool area. Double standards. And the kids were really naughty bouncing balls in the restaurant, shooting water guns. shoving and pushing each other in the pool.

Great location, good value for your money. Friendly staff

Although our room was clean it had a very strong moldy musty odour.

As a professional writer, I could write an entire article on how extraordinary I found The Rosita, from the architecture to the "I feel like I'm in a movie" views from our ocean-facing room to the beautifully-tiled shower, the sharply-attired staff and the delicious piña colada, enjoyed from an Adirondack chair while watching the sun set. What an iconic hotel, and in the perfect location. Simply smashing, all the way around. Bravo. Bravo.

The front desk staff were a bit less professional than one would expect. Other staff was fabulous.

Nice spot if you want to be close to all the nightlife noise.

Super noisy. Clubs are a block away and you can hear music until the wee hours of the morning. Also, guests were partying in their rooms and it was hard to sleep. You can hear everything and I mean EVERYTHING from the hallways. Kids were up at 8am making noise in the pool. I wanted to sleep with my balcony room open so that I could hear the waves, but guests were partying in their rooms past midnight with no consideration for other guests.

We had a room with balcony facing the ocean. The room was big, had a comfortable bed, decent bathroom, and the balcony was huge with the ocean not more than 125' away. The location is at the terminus of the Malecon so it is an excellent location for seeing all the older parts of the city. This hotel is an excellent blend of affordability, convenience, and modest luxury where there is a restaurant and a pool with lounge chairs. We ate quite a number of meals at the on-premises restaurant and they all ranged from good to really good in quality. The hotel staff was awesome, always willing to help, and there were always English speakers around. We would definitely stay here again.

Our only complaint was noise when on the balcony which is where you want to spend some time given how great the view is. Noise was occasionally an issue with neighbors left, right, above, or below. Some people like to play their music loud, others talk loudly. Neighbor noise was never an issue after 10 pm or while inside with the doors shut. The other noise issue was the 3 bars on the Malecon that were reasonably far away but played their music So Loud that when you walked by them, you vibrated and that could easily be heard while sitting on the balcony. The hotel is far enough away that it's more of a nuisance than a real problem but I mention it because some people are very noise-sensitive.
