the architecture and the style . outstanding.

they don’t have an efficient service on the beach and they don’t have cabanas on the beach but just a few little sun umbrellas absolute not comfortable for the sun and the high temperatures , if you like staying all day long (!or at least many hours ) on the beach could be e a little bit hard…; also around the common pool there not a shade area…

The modern minimalist design of the hotel. The indoor/outdoor concept is unlike anywhere else I've stayed in the world. The patio upstairs has views to die for on either side - towards the ocean or towards the mountain. The beach was also super calming. Cresencio, one of the staff members was friendly, inviting and the spirit of the place. Loved the welcome area and their dogs Sandy + company

The food at dinner holds this hotel back from becoming a 5 star destination. Although it is included in the room fare - a more extensive Michelin style experience would complement this hotel better. I loved how connected the room was to nature but better instructions in the room on the closing of sliding shutters as well as keeping bugs out would be advisable.

such a magical place that is even more stunning in person. great food and quiet beach.

because the bathroom is essentially open air with just a curtain to keep bugs, bats, and everything else out, the bed should have a mosquito net

Everything was really beautiful. The rooms were very comfortable, the private terrace and pool were amazing. I especially loved the outdoor shower. The food was fresh and delicious, plenty of healthy or decadent options at Breakfast and Lunch. Dinner is a set menu with with vegetarian option, and it was equally delicious. This is a place for relaxing in nature. I was outside all day, I read books, I swam laps in the pool, I did yoga on the terrace every morning (the hotel lent me a yoga mat), and we went for sunset walks on the beach every evening. The massages were also great! This was exactly what I needed! This is not a hotel filled with drunks by the pool. The staff was so kind and attentive. This is luxury and yet not gluttonous at all.

It is hot there, and we tend to drink a lot of water. Even though they will come and fill up your water carafe as often as necessary, I wish they would also provide reusable water bottles for the guests. If I return, I will definitely bring my water bottle.

Beautiful, brand new property. Gorgeous design down to the tiniest details. Excellent service. Very comfortable rooms. Delicious food and fantastic drink selection.

Rates include breakfast buffet and dinner. The breakfast buffet was meager with poor quality bread and coffee. The dinner selection was minimal and portion size tiny. There weren’t a la carte options that we were made aware of. You left hungry if you didn’t have a large lunch. The hotel is also 100% sand paths - this is not a hotel for anyone who dislikes sand and/or has any mobility issues (lots of stairs).

The staff and the rooms were great. The location of the property is isolated and peaceful and a walk across a dirt road to the beach. We enjoyed the neighboring Japanese omikase restaurant and Mezcalera. We loved the complimentary haman. Casa wabi is an easy stroll down the street.

The included breakfast and dinner were not very good. Nobody travels to Oaxaca to eat mediocre orange chicken and rice. An included breakfast is necessary given the remote location but we would have preferred an alla cart dinner menu. There are only a few beach umbrellas for a 14 room hotel...could have used a few more as they were always occupied. Lastly, the outdoor shower is separated from the room by a curtain that only partially closes. Wildlife can easily fly through this opening.

Stunning secluded property nestled within rich dune vegetation. This is barefoot luxury at its best. Expect to get sandy feet while exploring all the architectural features. We particularly liked the on-site restaurant and our private pool in the accommodation. Thank you to the staff who were able to keep the Hammam open late so we could enjoy it as part of our stay.

The road in is narrow and a little hard to find. We had a car and chose to drive, next time we would book the shuttle service.

The design of hotel, location and surroundings are beyond amazing. The rooms(suites) are spacious and comfortable for two, the fully open folding doors and roof pool are huge plus to the room. The quiet beach club and hamman are also great features to the hotel facility.

Restaurant is lovely, however, the service and menu could be improved. The staffs were friendly, but service wasn't to our expectation. It would be great to have more options for the breakfast buffet.

the location and design is to die for. the beach is basically empty. everything feels magical. the entire staff was very attentive, from reception to bell boys, spa attendants, restaurant service and housekeeping. But one person especially stood out: Daniela from dinner/breakfast did an amazing job at making us feel at home and welcome at all times with amazing service and her friendly character.

no hairdryer is provided, apparently since their solar energy cannot provide enough electricity to power them. while we were worried not having an aircon in the room would be an issue, we discovered there is a constant breeze going through the room at all times, which is good, but made me catch a cold in combination with my wet hair (since no hairdryers are provided...).
