Very nice owners and their cute pets, has a homey feel for sure 😊 The garden with a little pool, kitchen, plenty of tables and seating is a great place to relax. Bathroom has hot water if you need it, decently sized room, not the newest but clean and comfy. Good wi-fi. Kitchen is well equipped and has free drinking water, coffee and tea. It's an easy 10-15 min. walk to the town center which is fine, some very nice breakfast places nearby.

Good location to head into town and to the lagoon without being in tourist Central. Amazing breakfast and overall good services (laundry, bikes, tours etc.). But the best part is the family (and the staff) itself. They made us feel more like family visitors than hotel guests and even let us try some typical Mexican homemade cuisine and brought some shopping back from the big shops. Regretfully we had to leave on Christmas eve, as this would have been the most amazing place to be for the holidays!

If you are expecting a flashy, all sterile and anonymous hotel... this might not be your place. This is a true Mexican experience that will make you want to come back though.

The entire family were so incredibly lovely! Muy Bueno! I just wish I knew more Spanish so I could speak to them more and get to know them all properly!

The shower took a little bit of time to heat up, but a few minutes wait and it was good to go!

Great place, the rooms are nice and clean, the attention is amazing (super friendly and attentive hosts), nice outdoor kitchen, beautiful garden with flowers, great atmosphere, safe, bikes for rent, pet and kids friendly. It's located in a quiet neighbourhood about a 10 mins walk away from the centre. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends! Don't doubt in staying here, you will meet the nicest hosts and practice your Spanish! Gracias Juanita y Manuel!

A great hotel with a lovely and friendly family that go out of there way to make your stay a favourite one. Rooms are spacious and clean with a lovely garden and pool. The owners are super nice and at night it's peaceful and relaxing with the hammocks out of the rooms. It's only 2km to the cenote azul and a short walk to the lake or town. Great place to stay 👌

What an amazing stay, our best in Mexico, at this place run by a couple of teacher's I dont even know how to start. Juanita and Manuel are so kind they make you feel directly like at home. The day we arrived, we discussed until late night and they shared some home made tapas with us and the husband told us maya stories. The second night they gathered everyone from the hostel how came by and we had some great laughter around some glasses of tequila. The owners genuinely love people and share and care like of you would be their kinds. As i already said its like at home. The kitchen : is big, clean and well organized, each room has a plastic box to put their things tagged with the room number and some tupps also tagged with room number for leftovers. Along free "real" coffee, tea, fresh water, the owner gives all you need to cook, spices, oil, salt, limes, garlic, and more.. the fridge is big, the gaz stove works well, and the kitchen is located outside so it is really nice to prepare the food there. It has a nice bar so that you can sit there and watch other people prepare their food. The owner has a lot of nice little animals, two dogs, some cats, they are so cute. The garden is really nice as well with a lot of sunbeds, hamacs, and 3 or 4 places with tables and chairs where you can sit and enjoy this beautifully flowered area. A lot of places with shade. The pool is nice and cool for those hot days with a hamoc where you can lie in the water. Possibility to get your things washed for a fair price. Good internet. Parking spots. The owners will help you book tours and other things if needed.

The guesthouse is made with a lot of love and we enjoyed staying there a lot. Juanita and her husband are lovely, kind and made us feel home. The rooms are nice, the beds are comfortable and the pool is great. They have bikes, which makes it super easy to acces the center and the lagunas. One of my favourite places in Mexiko. Thanks a lot for everything, you doing a great job:)

Great place to stay. Friendly owners (though they don't speak English and since I only speak a few words Spanish I couldn't really communicate much with them) and the room was large. Only a fan which made a lot of noise but a mosquito net around the bed. Lots of hammocks, pool, good wifi. Large kitchen with tons of supplies. Friendly admosphere. Would stay again!

The room got very hot during the day, the fan made lots of noise so not a possiblity to keep it on during the night. Quite a bit of mosquitos in the room and no way to keep them out. They provide free bugspray though. Location is about a 10 minute walk from town through a safe neighborhood.

Welcoming and friendly staff. Air con in the room and access to free water and kitchen facilities. The location is in reasonable walking distance to nice cafes and the public swimming area.

The room was not the best sound proofed for us as early sleepers. Our room was next to the communal area so we couldn't sleep until others had all gone to bed
