Amazing common area with a clean pool, very affordable bar and nice lounge area to just relax. Also comfortable dorm beds, good airco and excellent showers (try the ones next to the pool). There was a really friendly atmosphere in the hostel with everybody being very warm and welcoming. Also social activities were fun and well organised. Staff played a positive role in all this, especially the bar staff was great.

There was a bit of confusion around my breakfast, but that was sorted in the end and didn't really become an issue. Best probably not to book the breakfast in advance and just order something from the reasonably priced breakfast menu. Also had to move beds because of some leaking airco, but this was dealt with efficiently. Otherwise no complaints really, hope to come back in not too much time.

Maui hostel.was a good hostel, employees was very nice, the location is nice,.near the beach and.fifth avenue. The Rooftop is nice also. Bed was confortable. Even if you have the rooftop or the fifth Avenue near you don't really ear the noise outside. Overall it was nice.

One bathroom for 18 people in the dorm is not enough. Always waiting to go to the bathroom or shower. It's a small hostel so I understand that maybe there is no space. There is other bathroom and shower on the rooftop but one was close for repair. With one bathroom for everyone the toilet paper was out really fast.

Some rules are very strange. for example, you can’t use the kitchen before 9:00 what is quite late. I understand that people sleep but at the same time you may start making noise at 8:00. Why can’t you use the kitchen at least from 8:00? Quite illogical. The drinking water is not for free and it cost 5 peso for half a liter and 10 peso for a liter. don’t understand why the price is so high because it is bought in great amounts so it should be cheaper or even for free as other hostels usually offer. It is possible to rent a towel also for money, keep in mind. The bedding is synthetical so if it is important for you. No coffee maker, no shelves inside the fridge, not so much facilities but it is enough if not many people would like to cook

The activities there were fantastic. Bachata dancing Sunday and Monday nights.

Overall it was good, just a few small annoying things like the kitchen has plates and cups but no bowls, toilet paper was never restocked and always had to be asked for, personal locker on the lower bunks also serves as a shelf so you need to clear it completely to access your things. Nowhere to dry your things on the lower level. But overall it was fine.

the staff is super nice! especially Sofia, she was always up to chat and talk about what to do locally. the rooftop is chill and drinks very cheap.

there are so many hidden costs like a daily 20 pesos fee for environmental tax, 20 pesos for water refills, laundry extras (delivery) and other stuff. it’d be much nicer to pay 20 pesos extra for the room and have access to this stuff. it makes one feel like more hidden fees are coming. the rooftop doesn’t have much of a vibe at night, and they said they had cards and games but couldn’t find any of them

I had breakfast included which is nice and simple. It is a party hostel but locals come and salsa until 1AM and it is quite fun to watch. They offer Spanish lessons and salsa classes and daily activities. Rooftop bar with a great view and it is easy to meet people.

In a 13 bed dorm only one bathroom so the floor is constantly wet. Not their fault just something to be aware of. Again the bar is open until 1 so if you’re getting up early you might consider that or noise canceling headphones.

The location was amazing, close to everything and to the beach. The room was big enough, the bed was comfortable and big, there was a fridge, coffee maker, blender, microwave, heating surface, table and chairs. The pool was clean and the lounge chairs were comfortable. I had 1 or 2 little issues but it was very easy to communicate with the owners and they always replied very quickly to help me. The cleaning lady was also very nice and they accommodated me since I arrived pretty early and my room wasn't ready yet. I would.definitely book at Maui Suites again!!

Everything was great, I might just say that there is a couple of flights of stairs to go up and down so it might not be a good option for everyone. Didn't bother me at all tho :)

The location was excellent. 5th Avenue was very close, the grocery store was about 6 blocks up the road, and the taxi stand was nearby. The room was a good size. They were very responsive and helpful when contacted online. We were in Room 1 and had a little table outside our door. The rooftop pool was nice.

We didn't realise that we needed more information before arrival and that there was no reception on site. Our room wasn't ready but they put us in a different room for the first night which was fine. Also, there was no toaster in the room. It can get a little loud in the area in the evening which wasn't a problem for us but others might want to bring earplugs.

The location, the staff, super clean, well organized and the ambient is super calm, perfect for relaxing!!

Its not something i didn't like , but the thing i found kind of unusual was the entrance Door, because when i just reached i was finding the entrance and kind of got lost. I never expected a small entrance, maybe it needs a bigger sign. Apart from that every thing is good!

AMAZING Hostel!! You will love your stay here. Made some great friends. The staff is very kind and helpful. The rooms are very very clean and up to date. Each room has their own kitchen which is very convenient. Wifi works great if you need to catch up on work. There is a really nice rooftop pool area where everybody hangs out or works and it's so easy to meet new friends. Lots of people from Israel stay at this hostel. Very friendly and fun people. Loved my stay and will definitely be coming back. Owner is a great guy! :)
