The two bedroom ocean view was a perfect combination of rustic, lush, and modern. Having two bathrooms with a washer and dryer unit was excellent for a family of four. The flora at the facility is so beautiful and provided a cozy and comfortable vibe. The staff was friendly and not overbearing; they mostly stayed out of our way unless we needed them. We got massages on the beach and there was construction during the session. However, the massage therapist apologized and offered a discount for next time. Shopping and amazing music very close by in local restaurants and on the shopper's walk.

I wish there was more food on the property. Breakfast for all guests, regardless of pricing, would have been nice. It’s a small property with minimal activity, but it worked out just fine with two laid-back teenagers. Visitors should note that fishing boats are frequently docked there. However, we enjoyed talking to the fisherman and guests who arrived ashore with a fresh catch.

i absolutely loved my stay here and that’s saying a lot because I’m very picky. the entire staff was so helpful and nice. they helped us with any and everything we needed. i would define my stay here again it’s also a great location. super close by restaurants/ shops/ clubs. everything is walking distance. if you don’t want to walk it’s a short, cheap taxi ride the food at the restaurant was really good as well

the “beach” we went during a month were the seaweed was just out of control but that’s just the area in general so not much you can do about it. you also can’t swim at the beach right outside of the hotel but the public beach was literally a 5 minute walk

the apartment size and utilities were excellent! everything needed was there , as well as a great hot tube on the balcony! you can walk downstairs for breakfast and the food is awesome there! the location is very convenient, 2 min walk to 5th ave, with plenty of restaurants and shops! free parking is available too!

Beach is not there! pictures should be changed , as the beach was destroyed a couple of months ago! It is a bit noisy at night time, being so close to 5th ave and its night life! nothing too much but still there! also air conditioning is noisy!

The 3 bed apartment we stayed in was great, very spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The beachfront part of the resort we stayed in has a very nice pool and small beach area with beds to spend the day. Unfortunately the sargasuum was out of control so we couldn't spend much time at time beach. Very close to the main street with bars and restaurants,but far enough that we didn't have any issues with noise.

Very very conveniently located in the heart of Playa Del Carmen and surprisingly very quiet. It may not be the best choice if you're looking for a "cute" "boutique" hotel but if you want quiet & comfortable in the heart of Playa Del Carmen you probably won't find better.

Wouldn't recommend the breakfast here. You'll find way better (taste & price) by walking a couple of minutes.

The apartments are extremely well kitted out, there is everything you need. There was a washing machine there which was was not listed in the facilities and was very handy. The AC broke in one of the rooms, it was fixed within 3 hours of reporting the issue. Housekeeping was very thorough. Beach facilities are excellent, staff were helpful without being too intrusive.

Although it didn't effect us, the penthouse apartments do not have any lift access so would not be suitable for people with buggies or impaired movement.

I enjoyed my stay everything was excellent from location to cleanliness to style.

The car service that I ordered through the hotel failed to pick me up at their designated meeting spot where I waited for over an hour. No one ever showed up and the intense solicitation from other drivers was very unsettling. As I reach the hotel I told them about my experience. I was informed twice that I would not be charged for the pickup from the airport. Unfortunately I don't believe that to be the case as I was charged at the end of my stay.

The hotel is amazing - the room is incredible and very nice with a very nice living room and a full equipped kitchen - you don't need to spend money in the breakfast and can do by yourself. The bedroom is incredible and the staff and cleaning of the hotel is amazing. Also, the location is nice to enjoy the night life and at the same time have a peaceful and relaxing night. Garage is super easy access and parking was super calm.

The negative point is for the beach - the hotel is a real beach front hotel; however, they 'park' the boats in this area of the beach - so, you can enjoy the part of sand; however, if you would like to swimming and enjoy the sea view better look for another options walking distance that can ensure a real beach front to be enjoyed.

booking.com has allowed this property to post misleading and false images online of its beachfront. this property is located on a stretch of beach where unfortunately terrible beach erosion has occurred. there is no beach at this property. allowing the property to post photos of a beautiful deep beach are flat out false.

The Taj is literally paradise! Such a beautiful property with unique aesthetics and it's location is 1 block from walking onto the beach! It's private and tucked away from the loud party scene on quinta ave. The condo was equipped with everything you need from a washer to a full kitchen and daily housekeeping.

The satellite receiver in the master bedroom did not work, so we could not watch TV in there. We would have liked to have had a fan on the terrace to ease the humidity while spending time up there. We had asked for a netting to be placed on our balcony fence to add safety for our toddler. That was never done, so it was a little stressful walking in that area.
