Amazing high ceiling rooms, with massive doors. Clean, design interior and calm hotel with 7-8 rooms, you have the pool for yourself during the day, nice light breakfast with fruits and daily different fresh juice. Friendly waiter. Junior suite has outdoor shower and indoor one.

Coffee pads in room are 50MXP per capsule.

Lovely, stylish boutique property that has been thoughtfully and beautifully renovated. Very comfortable beds and good bathrooms.

The owners are mean with the facilities. There are coffee makers with pods in the room, but you’re charged for them. The breakfast that was included was a very small plate of fruit and a couple of teaspoons of yoghurt and a bit of granola on top, plus one slice of toast per person. For a room costing over £200 a night, that’s not acceptable and just leaves a poor impression. If they spent a couple of pounds more on a decent breakfast, they’d get better reviews.

We were in Merida for a wedding and selected the Antelar and it was the perfect spot for us, we loved it. The breakfast was fabulous with their daily delivered fresh eggs and bacon and the "continental" breakfast was both delicious and beautifully served. The location was perfect for us as well as everything we were looking for was in walking distance or short Uber ride. The staff was amazing as well. Very helpful with suggestions and always gracious. The rooms were comfortable and very well appointed. It was a small hotel with a comfy personal feel. Happy to call it home for 5 days!

There is nothing that comes to mind that we did not like

The staff was very professional and attentive. The hotel is very well design in a minimal, yet comfortable style. The pool is amazing and huge for a Merida boutique hotel. Perfect for the afternoon on the super hot days there. The continental breakfast was lovely. Hammocks we’re an extra amenity. The rooms are large, have comfortable beds and a nice sitting area outside. It was hard to leave.

The location is a little removed from the main part of town, but easily walkable. The doors to the shower and toilet should be replaced by something simpler.

The junior suite I booked was great size with terrace overseeing the pool. Two comfy chairs and table to chill outside. Bathroom was big with two showers. The staff reached out to me on WhatsApp to confirm arrival time and get some info to speed up check in process. They figured it was my birthday also and decorated the room with balloons which was such a nice surprise! The room and all areas were clean and well looked after at all times. Staff is really great, they think ahead of what you may possibly need and make it happen. The pool is great size also with deep end on one side. Felt well looked after for sure!

A very nice hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel was close, 10 min walk to the centre and relatively quiet. Drinks and breakfast delicious. I felt very comfortable.

Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi is unstable. The balcony doors are difficult to close as it has a special key and if you are too rough with it, you can't get the key out. We should think about installing a different lock. Unfortunately, the pool is not cleaned daily. So it was full of leaves. You could swim but for the price and standard should the pool be cleaned once a day. There is only one standard breakfast, which is cooked to order, so it can take a while to get it served, so if you are in a hurry you should consider.

This hotel was truly exceptional. Our room was huge, spotless, tastefully decorated, and a had very comfortable bed. I also absolutely LOVED the shower! It was literally a room of its own with plenty of pressure from the rain shower head. The outdoor space was another big perk. Our suite had an oversized balcony overlooking the pool. Speaking of the pool, it was was a great place to relax and cool off after each adventurous day touring Merida. There were also plenty of lounge chairs always ready with a fresh beach towel. The continental breakfast was delicious. Every morning there would be a charcuterie board of fresh fruits, cheese, and meat, as well as toast, juice, coffee, and tea. Finally, the best part. The staff! They were so warm and helpful! They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived even providing a fruity welcome drink, until checkout when they actually gave us a departing gift! Their attention to detail was top notch. All of this being said, I give Antelar Casa Destino my highest recommendation. You should stay here!

The pool is fantastic, and the whole hotel has been designed to a high standard.

Some aspects (mentioned in previous reviews) are a little annoying: the light switches are overly complicated; our room key didn’t work properly from the inside; and only 2 coffee capsules offered for free & then you have to pay for more, although this wasn’t explained & we only found out on checking out. Without these small annoyances, the property would be a 10.

the decor was great, I liked all the natural materials and the sustainable aspects. the staff were excellent. the breakfast was great- delicious Mexican food. I slept really well- great beds, v quiet at night, perfect aircon - not too cold. I didn’t want to leave!

could be a bit more proactive in helping plan an itinerary including within Merida, with photo manuals maybe. Though when I asked, they provided me with an excellent private driver to go see the sights.

What an amazing jewel. It is a magical place where the staff, Mery (a total delight and extraordinarily helpful for EVERYTHING) Cesear, Homberto, both kind and always helpful and friendly. The Bed and Breakfast was one of the most comfortable places we have ever stayed (and we travel a lot). Our room had a patio opening onto the pool and the lush landscaping. We had our breakfast there every morning and relaxed there after a day of adventures. The common spaces are also beautifully designed and very comfortable. The location is great and we walked everywhere, There is even a good hairdryer. The toiletries we so lovely I bought some to bring home. This B&B has it ALL, ATMOSPHERE, COMFORT, QUALITY AND OUTSTANDING STAFF. We can't wait to return.

I am very picky and there was NOTHING which did not exceed my expectations.
