This is a gem of a hotel in a perfect location about 10 minutes walk to the centre. The hotel itself is lovely, spacious rooms, relaxing pool and hammock area, beautiful dining area with a kitchen you can use any time to make a drink or use dishes etc. The breakfasts are delicious - wonderful granola, yogurt and lots of fruit, and a small cooked breakfast too - different every day! But it's the staff that really stand out! They are exceptional! They arranged a private driver and guide to take us to Uxmal one day. Unfortunately my husband had a lot of pain with his Achilles tendon. They arranged for a physiotherapist to come to the hotel and treat him, twice, while we were there! Talk about service! We highly recommend this hotel and would return in a heartbeat if we go to Merida again!

very nice little hotel with lots of facilities that are not standard and greatly improve the experience. we particularly liked the automatic, Japanese style toilet. this should be prominently advertised in the hotel description, as should the portafilter espresso machine for self service coffee at breakfast. the staff as well as the owners are kind and professionell, the whole hotel seems to be under good management and in very good shape. the location is safe and in a nice neighbourhood with enough free parking spaces in front of the hotel. 10 minutes relaxed walk to the city centre. we would definitely book it again for a next visit to Merida.

Our room was lovely, the bed was comfortable, water and a small fridge were provided, lots of lighting, a ceiling fan and very effective air conditioning. The pool area was pretty and well cared for with lots of plants and a small waterfall/fountain feature. There were several outdoor areas where you could relax; the breakfast was very good with yogurt, fruit, granola, juice, coffee and a main that varied each day. The staff were friendly, polite and accommodating. This hotel is very well cared for and in a convenient yet very quiet part of Merida. We parked on the street without any problems.

The staff was extraordinarily helpful. One of our group asked about the location of a pharmacy. They took her to a nearby pharacy and when it was closed, they drove her to another one that was open! Accommodating when we needed breakfast early. A nice place to gather and relax by the pool.

It was a little further from the square than I really like. Some of our group were tired and walking the 5-6 blocks was more than they wanted to do to go out to dinner after a busy day. The bathroom in my room was extremally small. I don't know if that is the same for all of the rooms.

Great location and really central that can be walked to the city center. The breakfast was fantastic and the honey of the house just delicious. A big advantage was that there were water coolers everywhere so you didn't have to deal with the impossible plastic trash. Another great plus was that the guests could have access to the kitchen/breakfast area 24h, for coffee, slushy or a little snack. The highlight of the room apart from the smart TV was the "japanise" style toilet with the incorporated bidet. It's the first time I find this in my travels both in Europe and the Americas.

Unfortunately the jacuzzi had some issues the days we were there and we couldn't enjoy it.

The hotel is close to the downtown Centro with many restaurants and bars nearby. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and modern. Good security with keyless entry on the room and main room. Free filtered water dispensers in the lobby. Great breakfast from an attentive staff. Plenty of safe, free street parking if you rent a car.

All the rooms are around a central passageway and courtyard. It can get noisy from the other guests around the pool, especially if they have young children. The rooms aren’t very large. We had trouble getting reliable hot water from the on-demand hot water heater. Wi-Fi was a bit unreliable (string signal, but our devices would often tell use “internet not available”. We had to pay extra to get the double bed room we booked through Booking.com because what they received from Booking.com only said standard room (a system set-up issue with Booking.com I assume)

This hotel is absolutely lovely. The decor very tasteful. The included breakfast is amazing! Great selection of fresh fruit, yoghurt, granola, bread for toasting, augmented by a fresh cooked main that accommodates any dietary restriction. The neighbourhood, Santiago, is nice, and just far away enough from the main action.

I could have done without the soft rock/country piped around the pool all day. Most staff were very helpful save one young woman at reception, who although very nice, was pretty clueless.

The staff was exceptional and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice, it consisted of a continental breakfast but the kitchen would also prepare a local plate as well. It's also in a safe central location, we were able to park our car on the street right in front of the hotel and were only a five minute walk from many good restaurants.

great hotel lovely staff and amazing breakfast different every day you can also have tea /coffee all day they can pick you up for free from the airport which was very helpful it was a about 15 minutes walk to town but it was away from the madness so quiet in the evening we loved our stay here although quite expensive would recommend

just be aware there are building works next door so made sitting around the pool or in your room in the afternoon noisy

This is a cozy property. If you are tired of big hotels environment and wants something more familiar and home-like environment, I strongly recommend this property. Very friendly staff and very good service. I definitely will comeback in my future trips to Merida, Yucatan
