The room is really big. The staff is great: friendly and always willing to help. The room was always clean, and the beds are really comfortable. Good AC + fan. Flat TV with international channels. The hotel is located just 10 minuts from the city center and 5 minuts walking distance to Montejos avenue. Great restaurants and services in the area. The breakfast was really complete: coffee&Tea, bread with jelly and a dish you can choose between eggs (omelette, fried eggs, etc) and Waffles or creps). Overall, great value for money.

The pool was not as clean as expected (cloudy water).

It was a great place to stay in. The architecture is beautiful and it represented the classic colonial houses. It is located in the very centre of town, lots of restaurants and tourist attraction nearby. Paseo Montejo is literally 5 minutes from it, and it made our life easier. Lovely staff and comfortable rooms. They spoiled us in everything we ask for. I have to thank the housekeepers, they were so lovely and helpful, our room was always tidy and clean. Definitively, will come back!

The only bad thing I found was that the shower drain smelled a bit, but I believe this is because the humidity of the city and the fact that the hotel is located in one of the earliest built areas of Merida. However, we managed to deal with that problem, and it did not affected our stay at all.

•It is a truly beautiful venue, glorious colour schemes and charming architecture. •Staff are nice and helpful! •Centrally located, walking distance to everything! •A big plus is that it is not too noisy, not to say its an oasis of quiet, but its pretty good. Most central parts of this town are beset by awful noises, this hotel has far less noise than any other hotel we stayed in, and we tried a few. Ofcourse, there is always some noise, and its a courtyard hotel where sound transmits, so you are at the mercy of any guest with poor etiquette- just saying this to manage expectations. We love it and will return! thanks team

We had the junior suite which was amazing. Really comfortable and spacious with its own terrace overlooking the pool. The staff were really helpful and organised parking and laundry for us. The location was great with the famous la negrita bar on the same block - no noise issue as it closed at 9.30. it was less than 10 minutes walk to the main square but is a super quiet once you enter the reception/courtyard. Lovely clean pool and setting. Really fabulous stay

Great location very close to the centre. The hotel is decorated beautifully, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious! The pool was great for cooling down after exploring Merida.

Although it’s advertised as having parking the hotel does not but they do have an arrangement with a car park opposite and you can park there for 100 pesos a night or park on the road outside of the hotel.

Great location in quiet neighborhood within east walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do. Lovely pool to cool off in after a hot Merida day. Great breakfast service and staff. Rooms large and comfy and quiet. A pretty place to be.

Rene was the main receptionist and was most disinterested in his guests, offering little help or information we requested or needed. The cleaning staff and kitchen staff were fabulous. Hard to understand why no ice is available or even a lovely cold beer… there are no food/beverage services after about 5… this and improved assistance to patrons from the reception staff would be a huge improvement and elevate my rating to a ten. Stay here, it’s great, but be informed and come prepared with your own snacks and drinks.

Perfect for a short stay in Merida. Staff were friendly & obliging. Breakfast was very good. the room was clean and comfortable & well equipped. It was great having the pool to come 'home' to on hot days. Highly recommend 'Mercado 60' on Calle 60 between Calles 51 & 53 for great food, a fun atmosphere and live entertainment.

it was a lovely hotel, great staff, loved you could book trips and get a massage in the hotel, made life a lot easier. room was great, breakfast was very good, pool not the biggest but great to relax around

Point for booking.com, on description you mention laptop safe, there is NO laptop safe in any room.

Great location, super cosy and calm

We had an issue with some neighbours upstairs which aren't related to the hotel. But the guy at the reception who works during the night was 2 consecutive nights not helpful, he just didn't cared and on top of that went to our room while my girlfriend was sleeping because he was not trusting me. Finally I handled the problem myself by talking to the neighbours directly. I wouldn't recommend that person.

Everything you read in other reviews is correct. You can do everything by foot and there is an amazing bar with live music at the corner of the street. The hotel rooms are really big with a large bathroom. The hotel is hacienda style with a quiet swimming pool area for a dive after a hot day

If I have to mention 1 thing that can be improved then it’s the water pressure in the shower, plus that it would take forever to heat up. It’s not possible to have the very large bath full of hot water. The bath is just too big for that unfortunately.
