Loved everything about this hotel. An oasis in the middle of Merida. Great location- right on a square with delicious restaurants. Lovely pool which is like something out of a Wes Anderson film. Our room (which was in the main building) was wonderfully decorated and felt like we were in a traditional villa. We also had a lovely traditional green marble bathroom, with lovely toiletries provided including bath salts. The house keeping team also deserve a special shout out- we can back to our room to find an elephant of made towels on the bed! Also, don’t be put off by the downtown location- although the street outside was bustling, we couldn’t hear a thing!

The rooms were a nice size and love the decor. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The pool was a great temperature to cool off and my six year old had a blast swimming in it. The hotel offers a very calm and relaxing environment. Also, this hotel doesn’t is right across from a some nice restaurants and close to the main cathedral. We had such a pleasant stay. Would highly recommend !

The pool food and drink service could have been faster.

The central position, the large room and extremely helpful and polite staff, especially Alex, who went out of his way to ensure we were happy (see my comments below), and the lovely female receptionist (sorry, I didn’t take her name) who organised an Uber for us to the bus station when she couldn’t arrange a regular taxi.

The loud humming noise in the first room we were allocated and the noise from the building works next door, but Alex promptly, politely and efficiently arranged a different room for us overlooking the pool, which was much quieter. He was very professional.

The pros: ~location location location ~extremely fluffy & comfortable bed & bedding ~spacious, beautiful room ~frosty cold A/C (that we had control over) ~delightful aroma, especially in the lobby ~friendly, warm, and very helpful staff

If I have to give a con, maybe the pool could be a little bit cleaner. But it was still clean enough that we went for a swim nearly every day.

The property was amazing ! From the reception area, around the pool and the balconies, everything was kept clean and tidy. The staff was also amazing, especially Alex at the front desk. He went above and beyond to make our stay amazing ! Our room was Suite 35 Chichen Itza, the last room on the second floor over looking the pool. amazing ! Also, the breakfast is worth paying for - pancakes, eggs, coffee etc.

Overall, it was a good stay here and I definitely recommend this place. The reception was nice and helpful, the fact that they spoke english is a big plus in Merida. You can also refill your water in the hotel. There is good wifi everywhere in the hotel, and also in the park next to it. Note that you can find plugs and wifi pretty much everywhere in the center. The rooms were large and clean. Location is just perfect as it is right in the center and also close to Paseo de Montejo. They also helped us schedule day trips which was nice. Would suggest Chichen Itza and Uxmal trips that you can schedule through the hotel.

In the night, it can get very noisy because of live music next door. Breakfast was okay althought they did not speak much english and it could definitely be cleaner. Their coffee was good, though.

The boutique hotel is so stylish and it's centrally located and just a few steps away from the city's historical center. The room assigned to us was spacious and we really enjoyed the pool. Most importantly, the staff were all friendly and knew how to serve the needs of their guests. Our favorite part was the breakfast next door. It was superb and delicious. I'd definitely stay again and recommend it to my friends.

On our last day, our toilet broke down and the tank wouldn't fill up automatically. We reported it and the front desk responded quickly. Some parts needed to be replaced as we we're told, it would take some time. Good thing it happened a few hours before check out.

Stayed here during our honeymoon after another hotel randomly cancelled on us and I'm so glad that happened! This was a lovely stay. Great spacious room right next to the pool. Very comfortable and clean. Had a great stay here for NYE. Location was great and right in the middle of town. Staff were incredibly helpful in organising a tour for us to go to Chichen Itzá and booking us a taxi for our next hotel too.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the pool was great. The location was fantastic - close to the plaza grande, Santa Lucia and amazing restaurants.

Not enough hot water for showers. It wasn’t too much of a problem since the temperature was so hot outside but a bit warmer would have been great.

The pool was beautiful and a great place to hang out when it was too hot to be sightseeing.

I emailed to ask the hotel to make me a reservation at the Cenotes Hacienda Meycuche and was told repeatedly--and again in person after I arrived--that we did not need a reservartion. WE DID. We ended up squeezed onto a Spanish-only tour. Definitely make all your own reservations on your own.
