The location is only a safe 6 block walk to Ave 60 for majority of restaurants and 10 blocks to Plaza Grande Parque. There is a nice restaurant El Templo around the corner on Calle 59 that i ate at often. The Shower water is so hot you could get scalded. Pool looks lovely and cleaned daily. The AC and Internet is good. For the price i would definitely stay there again. Staff were friendly and helpful although their English was minimal.

Some will say the room furniture is dated. The rooms have a single and a double bed, work desk/chair and closet space with hangers. Being Solo I tested the Double bed and it was Soft from wear so i slept comfortably on the Firmer single bed. The room was clean and quiet. I am obviously not as nitpicking as other reviewers and glad i ignored them. So the toilet bowl had some Rust colored stains from the Hard water but it flushed great. great for $32 Cad a night.

The room was nice and clean, the pool seemed very clean. Although the recepcionist was an alternate in this job, he was friendly and helpful in the way he could. There's a park very close from the hotel.

It would been a lot better if they could sell something to eat late at nigth other than jelly or sandwiches, other than that everything was ok

Personnel was always paying close attention to my parents needs. Availability for food / snacks / drinks were of good quality and a reasonable price. Electricity was always on regardless of the issues for city outages. Pool and parking always clean and well illuminated.

Pool well maintained nice and clean. location right around the corner from the main market,, room was clean and beds were excellent.

I didn't like that the smoking area was out back in the parking lot with no cover for the rain or a place to sit and relax.

Really nice accommodation, rooms with window, AC, ventilator... Clean and cleaned each day. Probably my best accommodation in Mexico up to now.

Nice and quite location, 15 min walk from the centre, the room was clean and there was hot water. There is a swimming pool and the parking. We stayed only one night but I can reccomend it.

Friendly and helpful staff, even though they didn’t speak English and we spoke 3 Spanish words we all managed to communicate just fine. Pool was clean. Room was clean. Hot water available. Convenience store and an amazing breakfast place (Wayne’e) around the corner. Also super cheap so worth the price for Merida.

The wifi was down the entire time we were there and it seems as if it has been that way for awhile. Spotty wifi only available in the lobby. Aside from that only minor issues: Room was kind of dark and bathroom was bit run down. Water pressure a bit inconsistent but livable. Our door sensor broke the second day and someone cut our window screen to climb in. Problem was quickly rectified but the broken screen was just left dangling outside our window and we couldn’t open the window the rest of the stay. Hope they fixed it.

The hotel was clean. The service was good. The location was ok for me because I had a car, but if you don't it is far from the city center.

Great location, just few min walk to the beautiful city centre, free parking, nice swimming pool, very safe. Great place for 1 or small group of travellers, very affordable price. For sure will stay here again at our next visit to Merida.
