Beautiful space, one terrace and one rooftop offering spectacular views. Room and bathroom were great. Mohammed and Zaynab were amazing throughout our stay. Zaynab was very hospitable and kind. Mohammed helped book us a guide for the medina (Shokaib) who was great. Mohammed also helped book us an excursion to the mountains with the guide Omar. It was a pleasure spending the whole day with Omar, he really felt like an old friend by the end of the day. These were all booked at the last minute, so we really appreciate how lucky we were. Just a special place managed by special people :)

Nothing.

Fes is a magical and mystical destination, and Riad Alassala takes this to another level. At the beating heart of this gorgeous, authentic 19th century, Riad are it's wonderful staff. Zeinab, Mohammed, and Ali! The trio has a wonderful and personal standard of customer service. Mohammed was the most professional hospitality professional IMO who was answering all my pre stay queries super promptly and checking in on me in face of unforeseen travel hiccups...ie dying phones! Upon my arrival at the Riad, I was warmly welcomed by Zeinab and Assal (the owner of the Riad). I felt a beautiful luxury in these surroundings, but I also felt home! Their chef pulls off the most amazing tagines, and Mohammed was kind enough to organise for me following my 13 hour day of travels, as this was the perfect end to the evening. I cannot recommend this Riad enough, aside from the obvious of convenient location being in the beginning of the medina, great value for money etc....go for the character it exudes and as embodied by it warm and sensational team!

I didn't have enough time 😪

Views of a solo traveler, from Los Angeles... Wonderful people run this Riad. Azel, his wife, and the staff do everything possible to make your stay a positive experience. Azel himself came out and met me (after I was dropped off) and on my final day, made sure that I departed for the airport properly. The breakfasts and dinners were also excellent. No complaints whatsoever about the selections, portions, or quality. You will be well fed at each meal, with Tajine, couscous, and a great selection of breads. I recommend that everyone who stays to take the time to speak with Azel. He is a learned man who has also experienced different cultures as well, and provides great insight into how to experience Morocco (and travelling in general). The location requires a little bit of walking, but nothing that should deter anyone. It is part of a neighborhood in the medina, but far enough away from the souks to provide some breathing space. About a 3 minute walk from cars, and about 5-7 minutes from the souks. Good people, good location, highly recommended.

Nothing, really.

What a fabulous place to stay. Absolutely gorgeous Riad and such amazing staff. Mohammed and Zianab were extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was wonderful. Very comfortable four post bed, seating area and great shower too. The breakfasts are incredible. I am missing them already. We will definitely return. Fes is also pretty amazing. Lots of see and trips to take.

Nothing. No complaints at all!

This riad is very beautiful and peaceful. Lots of handicraft details everywhere which I really appreciate. The rooftop is big with a nice view of the medina. What I loved the most was the the fountain area and one of the bedroom we had with high ceiling.

The only thing I didn’t really like was the food. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either. I was expecting a better breakfast than this. The ones they give in riads in Marrakesh are much better. Also the city of Fes disappointed me. People are angry and not welcoming, the food is not good, the medina is stressful and dirty… Fes used to be a city of artisans offering quality only even when it comes to food. Now it seems like they have no standards and they don’t care. If they keep going like that they will lose all the tourists but honestly it seems like they don’t even want tourists anymore. Thanks god I booked a nice riad.

Mohamed and his colleagues are very friendly and nice. They offered us good food and drinks. They always gave us a hand when we needed. I with my family really enjoyed the stay there. The Riad is clean and cozy. It has good location and is easy to get to. If I go to Fes next time, I definitely will choose to stay here again.

The warm water for shower was not enough for whole family.

Absolutely gorgeous! The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful and professional! Loved every minute of our stay. The food was also lovely, the breakfast was one of the best out of our 7 accomodations around Morrocco. I wish I would've stayed longer, even though Fes to me was the least exciting city out of all, but the riad made the trip all worth it.

The Riad was gorgeous, clean and the hospitality was out of this world! The staff were extremely helpful and kind with everything we may have needed or had questions about. We arrived hungry and decided to eat lunch too at the hotel and while on the more expensive side, it was easily one of the best meals we had all trip.

We enjoyed our stay at the Riad . It is beautifuly done and the staff was lovely...very helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast served every morning. We enjoyed our stay there but just want to point out that the info provided for the junior suite that we had booked was a little misleading. We were a couple with an adult child. The pictures and description said two seperate rooms and a living room. However, the second room is more of an open mezzanine or loft area which is not seperate from the main area downstairs. Also the living area is just a sofa next to the bed so the area is very cramped. It says the suite has a patio but the room actually opens up to the main patio where the dining area is so its not a private patio or balcony. You have to keep the curtains closed to have any privacy from the outside area. We didnt mind this so much as we were out most of the day and only there for 2 nights. Otherwise the place is beautiful and Ali and Zainab are great hosts. We'd stay with them again!

It was enchanting. The drab exterior opened into something which was truly magical. The rooms were awesome, the food excellent and service par excellence. Additionally the location was superb. Ticks all the boxes and then some.
