Our stay at this hotel was truly amazing! The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable and cozy. The staff were incredibly polite and attentive, making sure we were always well taken care of. The breakfast was fantastic, with a great variety of options. Another bonus is that the hotel sells Fes’ own local beer, which we highly recommend trying—it was one of the best beers we’ve ever had! The location might be a bit tricky to find, but the whole city of Fes is quite complex. However, the streets felt safe throughout. One important tip: don’t let people on the streets direct you. Maps works well from the old city gate to the hotel, so you can rely on that. Also, make sure to ask taxi drivers to turn on the meter; a ride from the train station to a nearby spot should cost no more than 10 dirhams. Lastly, I highly recommend requesting a tour guide from the hotel. We paid 50 euros for a 6-hour tour for two people, and it was an incredible experience. Our guide, Reda, was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and made our day unforgettable. I highly recommend this experience!

My husband and I were visiting for our honeymoon and our stay at Riad Anata was beyond amazing. They went above and beyond to take care of anything and everything we needed - arranging a tour guide for the Medina (shoutout to Mohamed for being the most incredible guide), booking taxis for us and recommending/reserving our hammam appointment - they even offered to help book tickets for our bus to Chefchaouen. The breakfasts were the best we have had on our entire three weeks of travel! We cannot recommend this accommodation enough. Location to everything was perfect - not too much in the chaos but not too far out of the way. We also had the best sleeps in the most comfortable bed!

This beautiful Riad is a true gem, with an incredible attention to detail and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts are unbelievably kind and make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Located in a quiet yet central part of the Medina, it offers the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. The breakfast is exceptional—fresh, and delicious, served on the terrace. Parking is available nearby, and the cooking class with Samira was an unforgettable highlight—hands down the best food we had in Morocco!

First of all the staff at Riad Anata are amazing. Big shout out to Driss for all his help and kindness, but everyone was so great. The Riad is classy, quiet and comfortable too. We stayed on the ground floor and the room was spacious and the bed was so comfy. Breakfast and sunset drinks on the rooftop terrace were wonderful ways to bookend days exploring Fes. The location was right in the old Medina and only a short walk to great restaurants. Highly recommend staying here.

Nothing. It was wonderful.

Everything- dedicated staff. Rooms are spacious. Easy communication before and throughout our stay via what’s app regarding parking, dinner at the riad (delicious!!). One morning we had to leave early for a day trip and they prepared a small to-go breakfast box :) Parking near the Riad is on the street where you pay a small fee to one of the attendants. Contact the Riad for more details - they can also meet you somewhere if you’re lost.

We had a nice 3 night stay at Anata Riad in the Orange room. The room size was good and the quality of the bed, bed linens and towels superb. The staff (especially Simo Mohammed and chef 🤩 Sameera) were very helpful!

There is some wear and tear and therefore the price quality ratio is a bit too steep. Rooftop was a bit too full and therefore could be improved. Also the choice at breakfast could be a bit better. Please note they don’t accept cards, so for the food, tourist tax and laundry, they’ll charge you in cash. If you’re paying with Euro, the conversion rate is 10 to 1 instead of 11 to 1. We don’t recommend to let the riad organise the tour guide. We had Shariza who turned up half an hour late, so that was not a good start. She was rude, didn’t listen to our wishes, forced us into several shops and even a restaurant. It was more like a very expensive Souk tour, a rip off and a waste of our precious time in Fèz.

The Riad was nice, the room was big and beautifully decorated, the view from the terrace was appreciated. I really enjoyed the cosmetics in the bathroom, which were their own brand of Anata, and the traditional Moroccan liquid soap. The service was lovely as always everywhere in Morocco. I ended up travelling alone and I always felt I had any help needed to arrange my activities. Also I recommend the location because there is easy access from the nearby parking where the taxi will leave you, the city gate where the tour operator will pick you up and the square where you can get a taxi.

The only thing is that I think I paid slightly more expensive than my previous Riad stays in Marrakech, especially if you consider we would have paid the same amount for two people with breakfast, despite the fact that I ended up coming alone.

From the first minute of arrival, I knew we were in a special place. Very jet lagged, falling out of a cab after a 3 hr train trip from Casablanca, Sameera greeted us warmly, let us switch rooms, gave us tea and cookies on the pretty roof with views over the medina. Our rooms were beautiful, the beds delightful, the bathrooms well designed and immaculate. The location of the Riad is perfect, an easy walk anywhere in the medina, but in a quiet corner. Said served dinner and breakfast (both delicious) with grace and a twinkle. He helped us arrange overnight parking for our rental car and also provided us with a breakfast for the road when we left at 5am! The Riad felt like our home. It was a perfect place to land in Fez! (And did I mention how fantastic the lamb tagine was . . . and the moroccan crepes . . . and the handmade jams and preserves . . . and the ORANGE CAKE . . . still dreaming about Sameera's orange cake)

Absolutely nothing.

The staff were so warm and welcoming and it felt like a family. Thank you to Mohammad, Samira and Said especially. The room was beautiful and clean, breakfast was lovely. They made us mint tea and provided us with water whenever we needed it free of charge. They also gave my friend a gift for her birthday. In the bathroom they have the most amazing smelling shampoo, shower gel and soap along with some Moroccan black soap which was such a nice touch. The location is excellent and right in the medina, so close to everything. It is also a short few minutes walk to the fountain where you can find taxis. Beautiful riad run by beautiful people.

We loved our stay at Anata, what a great team and good vibes! The Riad and the rooms are very clean and nicely decorated! The Riad is just outside the medina, perfect location to walk into the medina or get a taxi just around the corner. We had the green and red room on the second floor with 4 friends, we all fell in love with Fez and had a great time.
